Cambridge, MA City Council Passes Nonsense Resolutions For Emotional Feel-good Reasons

The Cambridge City Council is extraordinarily adept at passing meaningless resolutions on matters over which they lack jurisdiction. They gain emotional support of low and no information voters and omniscient voters. It costs them nothing. It is correct that state governors cannot restrict who can enter their states. So why does the council need to pass a resolution opposing Baker's nonsensical statement? They demonstrate their "courage" with such resolutions. Have the councilors discussed threats from Muslim terrorists? Mass murder by former Cambridge residents, Muslims who were granted asylum? No spine for that one.
