Beyond Rent Control

Beyond Rent Control

[This letter was published in The New York Times on November 28, 1994]

To the Editor:

Your Nov. 22 article about the Massachusetts referendum on the issue of rent control reports inaccurately the outcome of the vote: "Only Boston, Brookline and Cambridge voted -- in large numbers -- to keep rent control legal. The rest of the state voted to abolish it."

At least New Bedford, Springfield and Fall River also voted to let municipalities impose rent control.

Just as the Federal Government takes power from states contrary to the 10th Amendment, states are usurping local powers. It is typical of the arbitrary application of legal doctrine that is widespread in the land.

Treating Persons with Disabilities

Treating Persons with Disabilities

In this essay Ann Coulter wonders why the terrorists attacked Mumbai after the US elected Barack Obama. Did they not get the memo that they are supposed to love Americans now?

She reveals that one terrorist released from Guantanamo had a prosthetic leg fitted at a cost to US taxpayers of $50,000 to $75,000. He returned to Afghanistan to resume his terrorism against the US. News reports failed to state where he got his prosthetic leg.

Here's a number worth putting in your cell phone, or your home phone speed dial: 1-800-goog411. This is an awesome service from Google, and it's free -- great when you are on the road.
Don't waste your money on information calls to a business and don't waste your time manually dialing the number. I am driving along in my car and I need to call the golf course and I don't know the number. I hit the speed dial for information that I have programmed.
The voice at the other end says, "City & State." I say, " Garland , Texas ." He says, "Business, Name or Type of Service." I say, Firewheel Golf Course." He says, "Connecting" and Firewheel answers the phone. How great is that? This is nationwide and it is absolutely free!

Fair Weather Constitutionalists

Fair Weather Constitutionalists

Christine Vachon says, “Many straight people really don't understand it's a civil rights issue." Huh? Yes it is a civil rights issue, the right of a person to express his or her views on political issues. That is the civil right that is unrecognized by homosexuals. In Massachusetts it is a crime whether or not acting under color of law to intimidate a person in the free exercise of a constitutionally guaranteed right. Harassing a person for his expression is intimidation. The US Civil Rights Act Title 42 Chapter 1983 made it a crime to intimidate a person acting under color of law. That is what the police used to do to black persons who tried to vote. Now homosexuals do the same to persons who exercise First Amendment Rights.
The homosexual lobby wants the legal stamp of approval for their relationships. But they refuse to extend the same legal rights to those who disagree with them. It is their way or the highway -- one-sided support for constitutional law. If they win they support the law but if they lose they throw a tantrum. These are adults acting like infants showing no respect for others. It leads to mob rule, something that the homosexual lobby should fear because of their numbers.
This report does not mention the violation of constitutional rights by zealous disrespectful homosexual thugs.

“he had taken seven ‘roxies,’ referring to the quick-release prescription painkiller OxyContin, and added, ‘I have Lexapro [an Anti-anxiety drug] left.’"

His aunt, Dawn Facey, said he was diagnosed about a year ago.”

Choosing the Best Choice?

Choosing the Best Choice?

The letter-writer is putting 'The cart before the horse.' First the School Committee needs to appoint a search committee to find a suitable consultant to study the standards for a new Superintendent. Then the study group must study who is qualified. Only then can the study group interview qualified candidates. After the study group makes its recommendation the School Committee can choose the new superintendent. This is makes more sense than 'Counting one's chickens before they lay the eggs,' and also 'Closing the barn door after the cow has left.' But 'Filling in the well after the calf has drowned,' is better than 'Banging one's head against the wall.'

*Sincere Apologies To Everyone*

Over the past months I posted funny pictures and jokes for friends I
thought shared the same sense of humor. Unfortunately this wasn't the case and I seem to have upset quite a few people who have accused me of being sexist and shallow.
If you were one of these people, please accept my humblest apologies.
From now on I will only post items with a cultural or educational content
such as old monuments, nature and other interesting structures.

Attached you'll find a picture of the Pont Neuf Bridge in Paris.
For those of you who are interested, Pont Neuf is the oldest bridge in
Paris and took 26 years to build. Construction began in 1578 and ended in 1604.
'Le Pont Neuf' is actually made of 2 independent bridges, one with seven
arches and the other with five arches.
Fascinating.

Homosexual Priorities

Homosexual Priorities

Glad to see that the homosexual lobby is focused on the country’s best interest. While the financial system crumbles, the homosexual lobby focuses laser-like on same sex marriage and fights the will of the people in three states. The efforts to thwart voters by exploiting sympathetic courts and judges shows how devoted they are to the constitutional process and the public good.
When McCain-Palin supporters take to the streets to demonstrate around Harvard University, Barbra Streisand’s home and Bill Ayers’ home, will the homosexual lobby support that mob as well? If mob rule is preferred let all interest groups protest the outcome of voting. States can save millions by eliminating the ballot box, which always gets it wrong when homosexuals are involved.

TRIBUTE TO MRS. MARY SECZAWINSKI -- HON. HERB KLEIN (Extension of Remarks - June 10, 1994)

[Page: E1189]

HON. HERB KLEIN

in the House of Representatives

FRIDAY, JUNE 10, 1994

* Mr. KLEIN. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to pay tribute to Mrs. Mary Seczawinski, a woman who has dedicated the past 32 years of her life to the Passaic, NJ school system. It is with great pride that I join the students and staff of Passaic High School in honoring the devoted foreign language teacher and trusted friend.

* Mrs. Seczawinski's teaching achievements reflect the scope of her influence and commitment to her students. In 1991, she received The Governor's Award for Excellence in Teaching. Through the recommendation of a former student, she was honored at the William Paterson College of New Jersey in 1993. The nomination cited Mrs. Seczawinski as the teacher who had a great affect on her life. Her students have followed a variety of career paths, becoming everything from attorneys and physicians to teachers and musicians, including the recording artists `The Shirelles.'

* Her efforts on behalf of Passaic High School extend beyond academic education. Mrs. Seczawinski has served not only as a teacher, but as a friend and adviser as well. She has been called upon by individual students a countless number of times, and always responded to the young adults' needs with consideration and care. Mrs. Seczawinski has instilled respect and responsibility in her students, and the Passaic schools have greatly benefited from her positive influence.

* For decades, Mrs. Seczawinski has demonstrated her dedication to Passaic High School, and I know she will be deeply missed by both students and staff. I am proud to have the opportunity to ask my colleagues to join me in wishing here continued success on this distinguished occasion.

Incubator for Hate

Incubator for Hate

Irrational hate for President Bush is no more pervasive than in and around Cambridge, MA host city of Harvard University and MIT. When I point this out I am attacked as being irrational and often racist. There are no more infantile political activists than those who believe they are superior to others. That is a problem in the halls of academe. Limosine liberals are the most intolerant and most hostile to skepticism of all the political strains operating in this country. Being a one-party state makes intolerance a Massachusetts state policy.

Ann Coulter suggests showing the same respect and level of speech for Obama as was shown for Bush. If that happens it will be a long hard administration for the inexperienced Senator with the gerat speaking ability.

Here is an example of civil rights demanded by one group while they violate the rights of another. The Rule of Thugs

The Rule of Thugs

What a delight to see homosexual thugs exercising their
constitutional rights to demonstrate against the voting results
earlier that week. What else are elections for but hate unless you
win. This is the ultimate form of infantile behavior by homosexuals
who refuse to play by the rules of a civil constitutional society.
They want what they want and refuse to take no for an answer. When
they do not get their way they throw a tantrum.

In Massachusetts where the homosexual lobby intimidates spineless
politicians the homosexuals refused to allow the voters in that state
to vote on the issue. They employed a corrupt judiciary to get their
way contrary to the will of the voters and the constitutional rules of
that state. It shows that homosexuals do not believe in the rule of
law. They believe in the rule of thugs.

Protect Minorities

If it is time for a New World Order and a global society, it is also time to recognize that white humans are a minority in the world. They make up only 16 percent of the world population. They are entitled to protections under the affirmative action programs and also to protections from hate crimes by persons of color whether or not acting under color of law. Before we take all of the money in the US and transfer it to other countries we need to protect the basic human rights of all white persons in this country just as we protected the rights of persons of color for 40 years with their benefits as a minority.

Americans are weak in logical and political thinking. Mitt Romney is an exceptional politician, elected Governor in a state controlled by Democrats. These accusations benefit totalitarian Democrats, who try to destroy the Republican Party. Journalists enable this destruction indicating why they have a lower rating than both Congress and the President. Gov. Palin showed more authenticity than all three major party candidates. Some More Offended?

Some More Offended?

Who but the brain-dead deny white racism existed in this country for many years? Why is white racism elevated over other forms of odious bias? Jews were rounded up and killed by government officials in Germany and in Russia. Why is this less of an issue? Has this country elected a Jewish President yet? In Cambridge the police condone and participate in daily criminal harassment of persons with disabilities -- not 100 or 50 years ago, but today. Elected officials express outrage at white racism, and hate speech regarding homosexuals. But they ignore black racism, and criminal abuses of persons with disabilities today. What is wrong with the reasoning process of well-intentioned citizens? Is it only what gets printed in the New York Times and highlighted by PBS that is real? Is it Eddie Murphy's lament when his wife catches him in bed with another woman, "Who you gonna believe me or your lying eyes?"

While we're at it what about an Italian American President? Armenian-American? Etc? Why are African American achievements over-celebrated? Is white guilt any part of it, while no guilt for other forms of bias? As for the daily harassment of persons with disabilities (no bias there Ahem!) I just love the reaction of those compassionate liberals in Cambridge. Do they also doubt that a Cambridge landlord refused to rent to a person with a disability? A liberal in Cambridge? Standards of Washington DC Politicians

Standards of Washington DC Politicians

House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers has written to Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff requesting an immediate investigation of the leak, which he deemed "deplorable" and said "was not the first leak of law enforcement information apparently designed to influence the coming presidential election," referring to an ongoing investigation of voter fraud by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN.

He is unconcerned about the “leak” of personal information of Joe “The Plumber,” who was a private individual before the press made him into a public figure.

Since when is a court decision private information? How is that a leak? Why isn’t Conyers outraged that an illegal alien is receiving housing assistance when so many American veterans remain homeless? What are the standards for these obscene elected officials in Washington DC? Have they no shame?

This article reveals a long-term plan to use propaganda to persuade Americans to change their attitudes toward homosexuals. Below that link are two links that list the difficulties this has caused to many religions and individuals.

Political Parties

Political Parties

In a Public Notice published in the New York Post on October 28, 2008 ten political parties have a line on the official ballot in New York City. So contrary to how the main stream media reports, they omit major facts that help to keep the voters ignorant.

Who Elected JFK?

Who Elected JFK?

[Comment on story about Obama trying to avoid the media when he walked his daughter trick or treating in Chicago.]

everyone knows the mafia got Kennedy elected and everyone knows that the media is going to get Obama elected. Just like the mafia, the media will feel he owes them a big favor and when he doesn’t return the favor, they will burn his ass.

Happy Shock

Happy Shock

Here’s the latest abuse created by psychiatric madmen. This involves use of magnetic coils, for patients whose traditional treatment “failed.” This sounds like one of the many attempts to cure schizophrenia described by Robert Whitaker in his book, “Mad in America.” Whitaker describes the thousands of people who were legally brutalized by psychiatric madmen who tormented them to try to cure an illness that may not exist.
Previous uses of electrical treatments were demonstrated by Jose Delgado and in one of Nick Begich’s books about electromagnetic radiation, “Angels Don’t Play This HAARP.” One solution is to pretend to be happy in order to keep these criminal predators away.
There are already alternative experiments being conducted by criminal researchers on unsuspecting humans using electromagnetic radiation and pulsed microwaves, which are promoted as another way to “cure” depression.
When psychiatrists promote “alternative” treatments to toxic drugs, be aware that there are more terrible ways to destroy your brain. If you allow the priests of psychiatry to do it, they will.
