Officials Waste Taxpayer Funds

Is this one more example of misguided government, wasting taxpayer funds? Is it theft of taxpayer funds? The Executive Director of taxpayer funded Cambridge Elder Services uses his position for personal political purposes. He justifies it by citing support for his position by the people he is supposed to serve, what he is paid to do. At least if his bureaucracy was protecting elders in Cambridge. For more than eight years I petitioned that organization for help stopping criminal abuses by police and FBI informants who conducted unlawful surveillance, criminal harassment and character assassination contrary to law. They declined assistance giving the reason I was unable to prove that I was NOT mentally ill. Consider that! It is impossible to prove a negative. It also shows that the taxpayer funded organization discriminates based on disability. What difference does it make? Police abusing a person with a disability is more egregious. O'Neill's Elder Services unit denies services and protection for a person that they believe has a disability. How charming.
They also denied having jurisdiction. According to their mission as stated in the Code of Massachusetts Regulations (CMR) they did have jurisdiction. One aspect of the abuses is a women that I dated for three months when I was student in law school. For 35 years she and her latest husband who works for the FBI have a major role in this criminal abuse by broadcasting in three states, the lie that I was a retired drug dealer. They said they were my friends while doing this and being paid by the FBI to conduct the abuse. The Executive Director supports the Obama health care boondoggle. Does he have permission to speak for taxpayers? Like other officials in Massachusetts he uses his official position for personal political purposes. These abusers of power speak for people they are supposed to help, they discriminate contrary to law, and waste taxpayer money. Business as usual in Cambridge. Please note that Elder Services is one of many government agencies which withheld protections and still do. Nor is the FBI couple alone in participating. Six crime families and government progressives joined in as a adult version of Lord of the Flies.

Elders don’t like being used as pawns in a political game that has nothing to do with desperately needed healthcare reforms. Seniors want the new law to given a chance to succeed."

Unaccountable FBI Criminals Exploit Vulnerable Citizens

This report fails to expose many years of FBI abuses. Agents and informants have a sordid history of murder, malicious prosecutions, theft, abuses of power, sexual exploitation, racist policies, and criminal abuse of persons with disabilities. They never admit their abuses of persons with disabilities. State and US agencies refuse to prosecute such complaints. In his book, Mafia Kingfish, John Davis reports that several citizens told the FBI that there was a plan to assassinate President Kennedy. But the FBI ignored all of the reports claiming the citizens were mentally ill. There are countless reports of FBI ignoring contrary to law, complaints from persons with disabilities. There is no will among upper class elitists and academics, to clean up the FBI, because they enjoy FBI unaccountability and tolerate the relaxed rectitude of the FBI community. FBI agents and informants abuse their power for political, economic, racial and social purposes contrary to law. The offenses are seldom reported or addressed by FBI officials. The racist policies of the current Attorney General, have exacerbated these abuses.

One American citizen (moi) was used by the FBI to fight organized crime for 15 years. He was not paid one penny for the jeopardy and harm to him, to his relatives and friends. The FBI abandoned him. Six crime families and assorted political leftist groups were allowed to retaliate for 22 years while the FBI stood
by and watched, cheering them on, adding intense character assassination to cover up their criminal abuses.

One author described the FBI as a group of insecure men who look to Big Daddy to protect them from mean citizens. Fear of others allows them to abuse the police power of the US government, to abuse vulnerable citizens who the FBI denies basic rights and privileges. They are a sick group of dirty young and old men. Some believe that the FBI is run by and for homosexuals. From my experience that is an accurate observation.

How many obnoxious TV and print pundits are FBI informants? Does that explain why their ethical lapses are overlooked and they continue their ethically challenged careers? Does the FBI protect bad journalists?

Comedy's Character Assassination As Humor

About character assassination, I know a lot. Many of the tactics used against Sarah Palin were used against me for 40 years in mostly three states. Psychiatry is a convenient and effective method to discredit a person. The FBI denied me my degree from Columbia University. They called me a racist for 30 years to facilitate theft of funds. Currently for 30 years the FBI described me to local police as a retired drug dealer. I know slander well. It is one reason why I admire Sarah Palin and George Bush because I suffered the same abuses. Unlike them I never ran for office and I am not a public figure. I did not have the opportunity or the means to fight back. Several local media outlets refused to report my perspectives when I wrote them even when it addressed their spin of the facts when allegedly reporting news events. Sarah Plain noted that if you do not answer the slander it destroys your career. That is what happened to me because I was unable to answer. For many years I did not know of the slander. I only knew of its effects. People shunned me and I did not understand why. Knowing does not make the lies go away.

Robert Winters, Bigot

Here's another example of Robert Winters spewing hatred toward Cambridge residents sounding like the stereotypical FBI informant. For many years he expressed his hatred toward persons with disabilities who dared to run for office. Police, FBI agents and informants uniformly express their hatred toward persons accused of crime in news stories. Winters shows animosity toward the US Constitution which promotes the quaint notion, alien to Winters, that a person is innocent until proven guilty. Based upon a news story in the Cambridge Chronicle Winters declares this man to be a "dirt bag" dehumanizing him. Winters is an ordinary Cambridge bigot; just like the lawless FBI agents in Boston who framed four white men for murder; and just like the agents who protected fugitive James Bulger indicted for 19 homicides while working as an FBI informant. Winters openly ridicules and humiliates persons he believes have disabilities. He is the pre-eminent chronicler of Cambridge events for the bigots who share his obscene opinions.

Later Winters added his sentencing guidelines before the man was arraigned and charged no less found guilty. Based on a news story in the always reliable Cambridge Chronicle he "knows" the man is guilty as accused. That is indicative of how the FBI thinks and acts toward civilians.

[Robert Winters has a PhD. from Boston University and is an occasional instructor at Harvard University. It is not known if he is always mistaken for the smartest man in the room.]

Obama Corrupts Constitution

[From article]
"“I believe the House Republicans next week should pass a resolution instructing the president to enforce the law and to obey his own constitutional oath, and they should say if he fails to do so that they will zero out [defund] the office of attorney general and take other steps as necessary until the president agrees to do his job.

“His job is to enforce the rule of law and for us to start replacing the rule of law with the rule of Obama is a very dangerous precedent."

"As Orin Kerr noted on the influential legal blog, the Volokh Conspiracy: "By taking that position, the Obama administration has moved the goalposts of the usual role of the Executive Branch in defending statutes. Instead of requiring DOJ to defend the constitutionality of all federal statutes if it has a reasonable basis to do so, the new approach invests within DOJ a power to conduct an independent constitutional review of the issues . . . It changes the role of the Executive Branch in defending litigation from the traditional dutiful servant of Congress to major institutional player with a great deal of discretion."

Teachers Union Abuses

[From article]
"Unions such as the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, the National Education Association and the Service Employees International Union give hundreds of millions of dollars to Democrats -- some $171 million in 2010 alone. They give almost nothing to Republicans.

Where does that money come from? From union members' dues. In what is effectively a criminal enterprise were it not for the moment legal, public-union leaders negotiate ever-larger pay and benefits from the very politicians to whom they then kick back "campaign contributions." All at taxpayer expense."

MA US Rep Calls for Getting "a little bloody."

US Rep. Capuano (D-MA) who represents Cambridge MA, host city of Harvard University and MIT calls for getting "a little bloody." Sounds about right coming from the thugocracy that runs MA. In his one-party state the official thugs overwhelm any and all criticism. Capuano thrives in this atmosphere with no opposition. MA police and the Boston FBI do favors for the elected criminal class. The courts back up these abuses of power. Criticizing criminal abuses of power in MA brings more abuses of power. They recruit thugs from outside of the state, which is what worries Wisconsin Gov. Walker. Capuano should hope that his threats are not taken seriously by the violent criminals that work for the SEIU and other unions which support Obama, Soros and their government thugs.

Religious Teeth

In 1936, Morris Rabinowitz, a dentist, fled his native Germany .

He sold his assets and made five sets of solid gold teeth with his cash, well above the limit he could bring into the U.S.

When he arrived in New York , the customs official was perplexed as to why anybody would have five sets of gold teeth. So Morris explained. "Jews who keep kosher have two separate sets of dishes for meat products and dairy products, but I am so religious I also have separate sets of teeth."

The customs official shook his head and said, "Well, that accounts for two sets of teeth. What about the other three?"

Morris replied, "Very religious Jews use separate dishes for Passover, but I am so Orthodox that I have separate teeth for Passover meat and Passover dairy food."

The customs official shook his head and said, "You must be a man of very strong faith to have separate teeth for meat and dairy products and likewise for Passover. That accounts for four sets of teeth. What about the fifth set?"

Morris looked around and spoke softly. "To tell you the truth," he said, "once in a while I like a ham sandwich.

Brain Transplants in the Name of Good?

Presented as a benefit to the patient, consider if the government begins forced implants which can be found to stop offensive behavior like criticizing the government. What is to stop this invasion of the person (in the name of good) now that it is permitted as a benefit to the person. Why not brain transplants as punishment? Stalin and Hitler would have loved to have this ability.

Teen Age Values Rule America

The patterns of shocking parental behavior encouraging youth sexuality is part of a half century of isolation of teenagers from family control, and abdication of parental authority. Diane West (The Death of the Grown-Up, St. Martin's Press, 2007) explains much of this began in the 1950s, not the 1960s as popular culture suggests. Youth no longer wants to adopt adult behavior. Adults adopt youth behavior and values. She makes the case for the opposite of what Parents TV Council says.

"However, the former private equity firm chief's fortune -- which has funded his political ambitions from the Massachusetts statehouse to his unsuccessful run for the White House in 2008 -- was made on the backs of companies that ultimately collapsed, putting thousands of ordinary Americans out on the street. That truth if it becomes widely known could become costly to Romney, who, while making the media rounds recently, told CNN's Piers Morgan that "People in America want to know who can get 15 million people back to work," implying he was that person.

The Invisible Line
by Daniel J. Sharfstein (The Penguin Press)

Vanderbilt University law professor Sharfstein says when it comes to race in America, things are not as simple as black and white, and never have been. He traces the stories of three African-American families over two centuries, who “crossed” from black to white — some even winding up as slave owners. He shows how local laws differed and changed, affecting racial identification. Sometimes a dark-skinned person would be considered white, depending on their town, while a lighter-skinned relative would be looked on as black.

Anti Semitic Hall of Fame 2010

[From article]
"In compiling this year's list, I was reminded of an old Yiddish joke about a Jew in 1938 who insisted on reading Nazi newspapers. A friend scolded him: "Aren't you ashamed of yourself — why don't you read a Jewish paper?" The Jew replied: "When I do, I get depressed — they talk about poverty, death, schools without heat. But when I read the Nazi publications, I'm uplifted. They say we control everything, all the banks, all the world economies."

I understand his sentiment. But as Albert Einstein said, "The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil but because of the people who don't do anything about it."

Violence and Mental Illness

The author does not define mental illness. Illnesses are created by consensus not science. Psychiatric illness is behavior and speech which psychiatrists do not like or do not understand. They are arbitrary. They have no pathology.

He recognizes that violence by persons accused of mental illness is no more common than among the normal population. Could it be that is because mental illness is a fake illness and people so designated are no different from others? Regarding violent persons, one serious misguided practice among psychiatrists and criminal justice professionals is to make criminals into patients. This does a disservice to those peaceful eccentric people who offend psychiatrists. They are lumped together with evil criminals.

Some of the regular sources of the notion that mental patients are violent comes directly from police and prosecutors who use their official positions to slander people. But an essential assist comes from journalists who publish what the police and prosecutors say. The courts allow these abuses by enforcing rules that prevent persons accused of mental illness from enjoying rights and privileges guaranteed to others by the US Constitution.

Though this author may recognize the goodness of persons accused of mental illness, many of his colleagues hold as offensive attitudes as police, prosecutors and journalists. It is mostly psychiatrists who prevent their patients, the source of their income, from enjoying their rights.

Liberty’s Exiles
by Maya Jasanoff (Knopf)

What if you came out on the wrong side of the revolution — the American Revolution? You might, Harvard historian Jasanoff tells us, have ended up in 18th century Nova Scotia, Jamaica, the Bahamas or Sierra Leone. That’s what happened not only to thousands of loyalist soldiers and businessmen but also to many Native Americans and African-Americans. The opportunities depended greatly on personal fortune and social class. For the impoverished, the struggle could be fierce, as it was for African settlers who were attacked in Sierra Leone’s capital, Freetown.

The Last Jew of Treblinka
by Chil Rajchman (Pegasus)

More than 800,000 Jews were murdered from June 1942 to August 1943 at Treblinka, a Nazi death camp in Poland, one of the few camps built solely for extermination, rather than for slave labor as well. The killing stopped after an inmate uprising and escape. But fewer than 100 people survived. Among them was Rajchman, sent to the camp with his 19-year-old sister, who was immediately taken from him on arrival. He later found her dress when sorting through clothing of the dead. He survived, in part, by “volunteering” to be a barber, shearing the hair of women about to be sent to the gas chambers. Rajchman, who died in 2004, wrote his account in 1945. It’s finally been translated to English from the original

Christians Under Attack In Muslim Countries

[From article]
"Iraq's Christians have fallen prey to a one-two punch of terrorism and official indifference. Sunni extremists attack churches and assassinate individual Christians. In October, gunmen took 100 Christians hostage at Our Lady of Perpetual Help church in Baghdad and slaughtered more than 40 of them. The Shia government can't or won't stop these depredations. By one estimate, 2010 was the deadliest year yet for Iraq's Christians.

Director of National Intelligence James Clapper says the Muslim Brotherhood is "largely secular." This is a description that doesn't even quite apply to American Episcopalians, let alone to the militant Islamic group explicitly devoted to jihad.

The Perfect Husband

The Perfect Husband

Several men are in the locker room of a golf club. A cellular phone on a bench rings and a man engages the hands-free speaker function and begins to
talk. Everyone else in the room stops to listen.

MAN: "Hello"

WOMAN: "Hi Honey, it's me. Are you at the club?"

MAN: "Yes."

WOMAN: "I'm at the store now and I found this beautiful leather coat. It's only $2,000. Is it OK if I buy it?"

MAN: "Sure, go ahead if you like it that much."

WOMAN: "I also stopped by the Lexus dealership and saw the new models. I saw one I really liked."

MAN: "How much?"

WOMAN: "$90,000."

MAN: "OK, but for that price I want it with all the options."

WOMAN: "Great! Oh, and one more thing. I was just talking to Janie and found out that the house I wanted last year is back on the market. They're
asking $980,000 for it."

MAN: "Then make an offer of $900,000. They'll probably take it. If not, we can go the extra eighty-thousand if it's what you really want."

WOMAN: "OK. I'll see you later! I love you so much!"

MAN: "Bye! I love you, too."

The man hangs up. The other men in the locker room are staring at him in astonishment, mouths wide open.

He turns and asks, "Anyone know whose phone this is?"

No One Watching, Then 5 Murders - Priorities

Here are two stories about two men in New York City who killed women. Both were obsessed with women and stalked them. One killed three others and seriously wounded four more. The second one killed himself after killing the woman. No one was watching either of these men, who were known to the authorities. Police watch me 24/7 and harass me after 40 years of egregious governmental criminal abuses. Are police priorities sound? Are government agencies run by people with common sense? Are all government employees for sale?

Hate Speech For Thee But Not For me?

The story begins with the phrase "A reportedly mentally ill man." This shows what? That someone said he was mentally ill? Who said it? Was it a psychiatrist? Revealing medical records is a violation of state and US laws. Who makes diagnoses besides bystanders, relatives, police and journalists? If anyone can make a psychiatric diagnosis who needs psychiatrists? If it is important and relevant that he is "reportedly mentally ill," why is it not important that a person accused of crime is black or homosexual? Everyone who knows anything knows members of those two groups are always committing crimes. I mean, like, totally, that's all they do. What is it about being accused of mental illness that makes people likely to commit a crime? Could it be irrational bias that other groups have halted due to their wealthy and politically connected lobbyists? Why do Crimson editors publish a story that indicates they share an extremely negative opinion of anyone who is accused of mental illness? Why is hate speech toward persons with disabilities prominent in the Crimson, while hate speech toward black Americans and homosexuals is not tolerated? If the story asked if the man was taking anti depressants and had suicidal thoughts from the psychiatric drugs that would help explain the event and provide a warning to others not to take those harmful and dangerous drugs.

Suicidal Man Apprehended

Lies and Half Truths

John Crudele says "Countries get themselves into trouble when they publicize false economic data, whether the deceit is intentional or not. And they confuse people. The Russians, in the 1960s couldn't figure out why they were going hungry when the Kremlin was reporting huge grain crops."

In his book, Development as Freedom, Amartya Sen explains that a country may produce a lot of grain crops, but if they export them due to better prices, people may not be able to get food. If people lack money they cannot purchase food, even if it is plentiful. It may not have been a lie, but a half truth when the Kremlin reported "huge grain crops" while they were exporting them. The US Dept. of Labor reports half-truths on unemployment, which politicians repeat as truths.

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care

Which purportedly covers at least
ten million more people,
without adding a single new doctor,
but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents,

written by a committee whose chairman
says he
doesn't understand it,

passed by a Congress that didn’t read it but
exempted themselves from it,

and signed by a President who smokes,

with funding administered by a treasury chief who
didn't pay his taxes,

for which we’ll be taxed for four years before any
“benefits” take effect,

by a government which has
already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare,

all to be overseen by a surgeon general
who is obese,

and financed by a country that's broke!!!!!

What could

What happened?

$1,000,000,000

How many zeros in a billion?

This is too true to be funny.

The next time you hear a politician use the
Word 'billion' in a casual manner, think about
Whether you want the 'politicians' spending YOUR tax money.

A billion is a difficult number to comprehend,
But one advertising agency did a good job of
Putting that figure into some perspective in
One of it's releases.

A.
A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
B.
A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
C.
A billion hours ago our ancestors were Living in the Stone Age.
D.
A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet.
E.
A billion dollars ago was only
8 hours and 20 minutes,
At the rate our government
Is spending it.

While this thought is still fresh in our brain...
let's take a look at New Orleans ...
It's amazing what you can learn with some simple division.

Louisiana Senator,
Mary Landrieu (D)
Is presently asking Congress for
250 BILLION DOLLARS
To rebuild New Orleans . Interesting number...
What does it mean?
A.
Well .. If you are one of the 484,674 residents of New Orleans
(every man, woman, and child)
You each get $516,528.
B..
Or... If you have one of the 188,251 homes in New Orleans , your home gets $1,329,787..
C.
Or... If you are a family of four....
Your family gets $2,066,012.

Theater Review: The Book of Mormon

[From article]
"Two Mormon missionaries have just arrived in Uganda to spread the word of God. Their luggage has been stolen by a couple of thugs with automatic weapons. But they learn from the poor but smiling African villagers that when things go wrong in Uganda, all you can do is throw up your hands and sing "Hasa Diga Eebowai."

Soon everybody's singing and dancing to this peppy tune, while a cheery black man introduces the missionaries to the people of the village: "Here's the butcher. He has AIDS. Here's the doctor. He has AIDS. Here's my daughter. She has . . . a lovely personality. But if you touch her, I'll give you my AIDS!"

When one of the missionaries wonders what "Hasa Diga Eebowai" means, the cheery black man tells him that it translates, roughly, as "F - - - you, God!" And then all the villagers start dancing wildly, their middle fingers held up to the heavens."

One More Death Caused by Psychiatric Drugs

Print version of this story quotes a co-worker on page 8, saying, "She was on medication and certainly in the past year or two was depressed about her personal life." Anti depressants are known to be a cause of suicidal thoughts. Why are these drugs still pushed on people increasing the number of violent deaths?

Scratch Tickets Can Be Plundered

[From article]
"According to Massachusetts State Lottery officials, the auditor’s reports have led to important reforms, such as requiring everyone who claims a prize over $600 to present government-issued identification. The auditor attributed the high number of payouts going to single individuals to professional cashers. These cashers turn in others’ winning tickets—they are paid a small percentage—so the real winners can avoid taxes. But if those cashers were getting prepicked winners, that could be hard to uncover. “There’ve been quite a bit of improvements since we started identifying these issues,” says Glenn Briere, a spokesperson for Massachusetts auditor Joe DeNucci. “The problem is that when there’s a lot of money involved, unscrupulous people are always going to be looking for new ways to game the system, or worse.”

Furthermore, the Massachusetts lottery has a history of dispensing large payouts to suspected criminals, at least in one Mass Millions game. In 1991, James “Whitey” Bulger, a notorious South Boston mob boss currently on the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list—he’s thought to be the inspiration for the Frank Costello character in The Departed—and three others cashed in a winning lottery ticket worth $14.3 million. He collected more than $350,000 before his indictment.

At the time, authorities thought Bulger was using the lottery to launder money: take illicit profits, buy a share in a winning lottery ticket, redeem it, and end up with clean cash. In this respect, the lottery system seems purpose-built for organized crime, says Michael Plichta, unit chief of the FBI’s organized crime section."

Billing Inmates For Their Incarceration

The essay is well written and exhibits a rational approach to prisons and to government in general especially "it is no secret that government doesn’t operate as efficiently or effectively as we all wish it would." Is Heroux aware that in MA when people were held in a mental hospital even for a competency evaluation the state would bill the person for his "treatment." This is appropriate to his question "What are we going to do when an inmate is falsely arrested and awaiting trial only to be later released when charges are dropped or the person was found not guilty?" He did not address occasions when civilians are framed as the FBI and local police occasionally do to unpopular persons. It is humiliating to be arrested, held in a hospital and billed for having one's reputation irreparably damaged.

He focuses on one of many misguided ideas promoted by government officials who never held a real job, whose only experience is academic. Often the most brilliant scholars have little or no common sense. Integrity is another issue. We seldom know why bills or regulations get written by someone with a conflict of interest which they are not obligated to reveal. There are many counterproductive laws implemented for the profit of the special interests. His criticism is valid regarding an area of government abuse that few people consider.

Cambridge Council Pampers Homosexuals While Others Cannot Use Sidewalks

The wealthy, politically connected and influential homosexual lobby flexes its power over the spineless Cambridge City Council once more. During a week of snow covered sidewalks people with mobility difficulties cannot leave their homes. The City Council rises to the occasion and caters to the desires of the homosexual lobby once more. Who cares about people who cannot get out of their homes because snow does not allow them to use the sidewalks? They have no money. They don't know any powerful politicians and they have no elected officials except for one or two. We ignore people with disabilities because we can. What are you gonna do about that? Huh? Huh? John Kennedy, the President, son of a bootlegger, revealed that "Life is not fair." So get over it. Watch TV until the snow melts.

Democracy Is Not The Democratic Process

Democracy also excludes tyranny by a minority, a concept foreign to the Obama administration. The President believed that "He won." and the opposition should stop opposing his ideas. The situation in Pakistan is not unique. One writer observed that too many activists confuse the democratic process with democracy.

[From article]
"True democracy is based on the premise that minorities will be protected from "the tyranny of the majority" -- not on the idea that the majority population gets whatever it wants.

Pigford Race Scandal Raises Profile

[From article]
"Race hustlers are shaking down taxpayers for payoffs, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is falling for the scam. The controversy involves a discrimination claim against the USDA for allegedly denying loans because of race. A federal judge approved payments of $50,000 or more based on low levels of proof. This encouraged a mad scramble for cash based on false claims."

Rush Limbaugh Uncovered

[From article]
"a problem of long-standing in our culture has reached a critical stage: the growing loss of confidence in our elite cultural institutions, including the media, universities, and the agencies of government. The posture and policies of the Obama presidency, using temporary majorities and legislative trickery to shove through massive unread bills that will likely damage the nation and may subvert the Constitution, have brought this distrust to a higher level. The medium of talk radio has played a critical role in giving articulate shape and force to the resistance. If it is at times a crude and bumptious medium, it sometimes has to be, to disarm the false pieties and self-righteous gravitas in which our current elites too often clothe themselves. Genuinely democratic speech tends to be just that way, in case we have forgotten."

Conflicts of Interests

Hiding conflicts of interests in legislation facilitates wasting taxpayer funds. But withholding conflicts of interests in science can kill. Academic researchers accept funding without requirements to reveal sources to their University.

[From editorial]
"Keeping conflicts confidential allows them to pretend they favor laws or funding on the merits -- when in fact they're swayed by paychecks from parties unknown, whose stake in such legislation remains out of public purview.

Can't Leave Paradise Without Permission

It may be time to build a fence around Cambridge to keep businesses in the city. They would need a unanimous vote by these City Council solons in order to move their company. All in favor say Aye. Those opposed say Nay. The Ayes have it. The order passes unanimously. Council stands adjourned until after the snowstorm passes. Now where did I park my car?

Egypt May Not Function Long As A Democracy

Without US military and economic aid Egypt would be a very poor nation. Democracy necessitates responsibility. Without a tradition of tolerating opposition (as at Harvard) it is unlikely that any democracy would succeeed for very long. See how intolerant Americans are to those with whom they disagree? The US was founded as a democracy. But you would never know that from listening to how the best and the brightest academics speak. Perhaps it was Honest Abe Lincoln who said this nation will never fail from external attacks. It will only fail from enemies within.

Cheating Pervasive Among Academic Community

This report shows how cheating is tolerated at Harvard and other universities. Many obvious cheating practices are not considered to be cheating. The word cheating, like racism, needs to be defined. Else it means everything and nothing. Try reading David Callahan's book, "The Cheating Culture." He gives you an idea how pervasive cheating is among the academic community and at Harvard. Did prominent Harvard Professors Joseph Biederman and Mark D. Hauser consider what they did cheating?
