White House Criticized for Talks with Muslim Brotherhood

SWC Criticizes White House for Deciding to Formally Open Talks with Muslim Brotherhood

Rabbi Hier: “We should not be talking to an organization that can lay claim to being the world's leading purveyor of anti-Semitism and hatred of Jews."

June 30, 2011

The Simon Wiesenthal Center criticized the White House today for opening talks with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. The Center referred to a news wire story quoting a unidentified senior U.S. official and confirmed today by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, citing, “The Brotherhood’s rise in political prominence” as the reason for the change in the White House position. “The political landscape in Egypt may have changed since the end of the Mubarak regime,” said Rabbi Marvin Hier, founder and dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. “But the Brotherhood’s hatred of Jews and Israel has not changed at all. This seems like a sell out to the European position and I hope it is not a signal that the United States will acquiesce to Europe and begin talking to Hamas as well.”

A few weeks ago, the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Mohamed Badie (pictured left) said, “Allah has warned us the tricks of the Jews, and their role in igniting the fire of wars… and they labor hard to spread corruption on earth: and Allah does not love the spreaders of corruption.”

Rabbi Hier continued, “We should not be talking to an organization that can lay claim to being the world's leading purveyor of anti-Semitism and hatred of Jews. Legitimizing the Muslim Brotherhood sends the wrong message that you can hate Jews, and still sit and talk with world leaders.”

Support the Work of the Simon Wiesenthal Center so that we can continue to be on the frontlines fighting anti-Semitism and defending the Jewish people and the State of Israel.

Misguided Task Force Focused on Money

The recommendations of the "task force" indicates that it was dominated by business interests, not security professionals. The expansion of facilities where criminals are treated as if they are mental patients shows that it is all about money. Criminals belong in jail not in hospitals. Persons accused of mental illness are mostly harmless persons accused of speaking or behaving in a way that psychiatrists do not like or do not understand. Criminal acts are defined by statute. Mental illnesses are made up by consensus. The longer that criminals are treated as mental patients the more violence will be experienced by well-meaning human services workers who want to help others. Stop the harm of innocents. Separate criminals from patients.

[From article]
"The task force on Thursday released a set of 17 recommendations that they said would improve the safety of workers at state facilities.
Among the recommendations is a significant increase in mental health spending over the next five years and an increase in the number of beds and services."

Obama As Chauncy Gardiner

[From article]
"Then, speaking in April at George Washington University, Obama said he was presenting a new budget with $4 trillion in long-term spending cuts. But there were no specifics.

Congressional Budget Office Director Douglas Elmendorf was asked last week if the CBO had prepared estimates of this budget. "We don't estimate speeches," Elmendorf, a Democrat, explained. "We need much more specificity than was provided in that speech for us to do our analysis."

Obama has seemed less interested in the substance of public policy than in framing issues for the next presidential campaign.

Listening to Radio Makes People Happy

She's sitting at the table with her gourmet coffee.

Her son is on the cover of the Wheaties box.

Her daughter is on the cover of Business Week.

Her boyfriend is on the cover of Playgirl.

Her husband is on the back of the milk carton.

'Cash, check or charge?' I asked, after folding items the woman wished to purchase.

As she fumbled for her wallet , I noticed a remote control for a television set in her purse.

'So, do you always carry your TV remote?' I asked.

'No,' she replied, 'but my husband refused to come shopping with me,

and I figured this was the most evil thing I could do to him legally..'

I know I'm not going to understand women..

I'll never understand how you can take boiling hot wax,

pour it onto your most intimate part, rip the hair out by the root,

and still be afraid of a spider.

While attending a Marriage Seminar dealing with communication,

Tom and his wife Grace listened to the instructor,

'It is essential that husbands and wives know each other's likes and dislikes.'

He addressed the man,

'Can you name your wife's favorite flower?'

Tom leaned over, touched his wife's arm gently and whispered, 'It's Pillsbury, isn't it?

A man walks into a pharmacy and wanders up & down the aisles.

The sales girl notices him and asks him if she can help him.

He answers that he is looking for a box of tampons for his wife.

She directs him down the correct aisle.

A few minutes later, he deposits a huge bag of cotton balls and a ball of string on the counter.

She says, confused, 'Sir, I thought you were looking for some tampons for your wife?

He answers, 'You see, it's like this, yesterday, I sent my wife to the store

to get me a carton of cigarettes, and she came back with a tin of tobacco

and some rolling papers; cause it's sooo-ooo--oo- ooo much cheaper.

So, I figure if I have to roll my own .......... so does she.

(I figure this guy is the one on the milk carton)

A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word.

An earlier discussion had led to an argument and

neither of them wanted to concede their position.

As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs,

the husband asked sarcastically, 'Relatives of yours?'

'Yep,' the wife replied, 'in-laws.'

A husband read an article to his wife about how many words women use a day....

30,000 to a man's 15,000.

The wife replied, 'The reason has to be because we have to repeat everything to men...

The husband then turned to his wife and said, 'What?'

A man said to his wife one day, 'I don't know how you can be

so stupid and so beautiful all at the same time.

'The wife responded, 'Allow me to explain.

God made me beautiful so you would be attracted to me;

God made me stupid so I would be attracted to you !

The Silent Treatment

A man and his wife were having some problems at home

and were giving each other the silent treatment.

Suddenly, the man realized that the next day, he would need his wife to wake him

at 5:0 0 AM for an early morning business flight.

Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper,
'Please wake me at 5:00 AM.' He left it where he knew she would find it.

The next morning, the man woke up, only to discover it was 9:00 AM and he had missed his flight Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't wakened him,
when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed.

The paper said, 'It is 5:00 AM . Wake up.'

{Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests}.

God may have created man before woman, but there is always a rough draft before the masterpiece

Results of recent research shows that there are 7 kinds of sex.

The 1st kind of sex is called: Smurf Sex.
* This kind of sex happens when you first meet someone, and you both have sex until you are blue in the face.

The 2nd kind of sex is called: Kitchen Sex.
* This is when you have been with your partner for a short time, and you are so needy you will have sex anywhere, even in the kitchen.

The 3rd kind of sex is called: Bedroom Sex.
* This is when you have been with your partner for a long time. Your sex has become routine and you usually have sex only in your bedroom.

The 4th kind of sex is called: Hallway Sex
* This is when you have been with your partner for too long. When you pass each other in the hallway you both say "screw you."

The 5th kind of sex is called: Religious Sex.
* Which means you get Nun in the morning, Nun in the afternoon and Nun at night. (Very Popular)

The 6th kind is called Courtroom Sex.
* This is when you cannot stand your wife any more. She takes you to court and screws you in front of everyone.

And; Last, but not least, The 7th kind of sex is called: Social Security Sex.
* You get a little each month. But not enough to enjoy yourself.

Corporations Dominate Discussion of Mental Health

Corporate testimony at the State House shows that mental illness is a business. The discussion is about money typical of today's politicians. The error in MADANN's comment after this story is that the rights enumerated in the ADA exist in the US Constitution since 1790, not 1990. The Rehabilitation Act of 1973 prohibits discrimination in entities which receive US taxpayer funds which includes hospitals. Politicians and journalists appear to be intellectually unable to scrutinize the fraud that is psychiatry. They are blinded by campaign contributions and the bylines they earn from the psychiatric businesses. The discussion before the committee was controlled by the psychiatric hospital lobby. If white supremacists determined how black people were treated; if homophobes determined state policy for homosexuals; how would politicians and journalists react? Yet they have no shame allowing the corporate interests determine how persons accused of mental illness are treated.

[From article]
"Mental health patients are treated unfairly compared to patients with other medical conditions
[. . .]
Dr. Gregory Volturo, emergency department chair at UMass Memorial Medical Center, said patients with mental health problems are treated differently by insurance companies and psychiatric hospitals than patients with other conditions
[. . .]
In January 2011, DPH and the Department of Mental Health sent a letter to remind hospitals of their responsibility under federal and state law to accept patients, regardless of their health insurance status.
[. . .]
Sen. Jennifer Flanagan (D-Leominster), the former co-chair of the committee, said she is bothered by the lack of parity for mental health patients.
[. . .]
“This is what is wrong in Massachusetts. This is what is happening in our emergency rooms across the commonwealth,” Flanagan said. “We need to get to the bottom of this.”

Two Party System Better Than Eliminating House

Mr. Bernstein shows a lack of knowledge or dislike of Constitutional democracy, which requires two strong parties. Democracy fails in MA because it is a one-party system. Is it better to change the state constitution than to build up a strong opposition party? A one-chamber legislature allows for greater abuses. The Phoenix contributes to legislative dysfunction. Its one-sided reporting is propaganda for liberals, instead of factual reporting to keep the voters informed. The legislature and the executive showed their disdain for citizen initiatives, by ignoring them.

US Dept of Agricultuire Unnecessary

[From article]
"The US Department of Agriculture [. . .] is a vast, self-perpetuating postmodern bureaucracy with an amorphous budget of some $130 billion -
[. . .]
the department this year will give a record $20 billion in various crop "supports" to the nation's wealthiest farmers
[. . .]
it is borrowing billions to pay farmers to grow uncompetitive fuel.
[. . .]
The USDA is now sending more than $1 billion to African-American farmers who sued the government, alleging past discrimination in federally subsidized farm-lending programs. But such understandable reparations are experiencing mission creep, as the number of would-be recipients claiming past discrimination far exceeds the number who actually farmed.
[. . .]
In these days of record federal deficits and unsustainable national debt, it is long past time to eliminate the department -- or least rename it "The Department of Food Subsidies."

James "Whitey" Bulger Arrested in Santa Monica CA

With all of his friends and relatives in the MA state courts and US courts it is unlikely he will be convicted of any crime in the state. Too many judges, US Attorneys, FBI agents, Court clerks support his crime family, and are employed in the state government and US agencies in MA. Watch as the system mysteriously breaks down. The FBI statements about the arrest already do not make sense.

If the media and the government in MA is to be believed when James "Whitey" Bulger became a fugitive organized crime disappeared in MA. They may admit that there are associates remaining in MA among civilians and elected criminals. Someone still loves Mr. Bulger besides his brother. After I posted my comment about the pervasive corruption of MA government one of his admirers threatened me saying "You can be killed." This is only the latest threat of the police criminals who keep me under surveillance, harass me and continue 40 years of character assassination with the knowledge and approval of the FBI in Boston.

Police Arrest Woman Taking Video on Her Own Property

[Letter sent to Rochester NY Public Officials on June 21, 2011]
Hello Rochester Public officials,

Rochester Police officer Mario Masic arrested a woman, Emily Good on May 11, 2011. She was video recording the actions of your officers in the course of their duties near her home. She was standing on her own property. Mr. Masic is not the only officer to abuse his power in violation of the First Amendment of the US Constitution and New York state laws, when encountering citizen journalists. At best this is an example of negligent training of your officers.

There are many recent cases of state courts and US courts which reaffirm the right of citizens to record police officers in the conduct of their duties.

The best disinfectant for government abuses is sunshine. Your officers join government criminals who keep their abuses hidden. Here is a link to a video of the incident in case you have not seen it yet.

Due to the current
financial situation caused by the slowdown in the economy, Congress has decided
to implement a scheme to put workers of 50 years of age and above on early,

This scheme will be known as RAPE (Retire Aged People

Persons selected to be RAPED can apply to Congress to be
considered for the SHAFT program (Special Help After Forced

Persons who have been RAPED and SHAFTED will be reviewed
under the SCREW program (System Covering Retired-Early Workers).

A person may be RAPED once, SHAFTED
twice and SCREWED as many times as Congress deems appropriate.

who have been RAPED could get AIDS (Additional Income for
Dependents & Spouse) or HERPES (Half Earnings for Retired Personnel Early

Obviously persons who have AIDS or HERPES will not be SHAFTED

Persons who are not RAPED and are
staying on will receive as much SHIT (Special High Intensity

receive enough SHIT, please bring this to the attention of your Congressman, who

Right To Defend Oneself Includes Having Guns

[From article]
"Today, Second Amendment discussions largely relate to self-defense, hunting or mere sport shooting. These rights are true, but they aren’t primarily what the founders envisioned when codifying the right to bear arms.

Defending one’s own is vital to man’s very survival. We also have a duty to protect those amongst us incapable of protecting themselves. The police will not save you.

As John Lott demonstrated in More Guns, Less Crime, “States with the largest increases in gun ownership also have the largest drops in violent crime.” Concealed carry permit holders statistically have lower crime rates than police officers. Foreign Observation

Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way you can understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic. Someone over there has it figured out. We have a lot of work to do.

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting an inexperienced man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."

FBI Changes Its Surveillance Rules

The statement by the FBI justifying its open season on anyone fits perfectly with the current administration's view of laws being optional, and the Constitution being an ancient no longer valid document. The current US Attorney General openly exercises his power based on racial profiling. Egregious criminal abuses are committed by FBI informants including but not limited to computer hacking. The Hoover paradigm of being the arsonist and the fire chief remains the preferred pattern of FBI activity.

[From article]
"Valerie E. Caproni, the FBI general counsel, said the bureau had fixed the problems with the national security letters and had taken steps to make sure they would not recur. She also said the bureau — which does not need permission to alter its manual so long as the rules fit within broad guidelines issued by the attorney general — had carefully weighed the risks and the benefits of each change."

DNA Does Not Prove Innocence

It takes a lot of chutzpah for Dennis Maher to prop himself up as a poster boy for more DNA testing to prove “innocence.” He claims that he is one of 271 men who have been “exonerated” through new DNA tests but he fails to mention that the word “exonerate” only means no criminal conviction (“Justice denied without simple DNA test,” June 8). It does not mean actual innocence. To the contrary, in research I’ve conducted over the past several years on the first 200 of those cases, evidence shows that as many as 90 percent of those “exonerated” were, in fact, guilty. DNA results may show that someone other than the accused was at the crime scene, but it rarely proves actual innocence.

Computer security is only one of many aspects of new technology that is incomprehensible to most people. Yale lawyer condones individual legal analysis by a Harvard lawyer. What a team. The logical end of this argument is laughable. Media Zealots May Make Palin the Next President

The emails reported so far show that Gov. Palin is a rational, intelligent analytical person with a sense of humor, unlike her critics. Even Jay Leno was taken in by the popular dominant paradigm of Paul Revere's ride. Most Americans believe that the poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, "The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere" is accurate history. Leno told Katie Couric (one of Palin's greatest fans) that Palin refuses to admit when she is wrong. But why admit you are wrong if you are right? Isn't that what the mindless media pundits expect Palin to do -- roll over and play dead while they assassinate her character?

Coulter On Democratic Mob Mentality

[From article]
"In addition to libeling innocent men in the Tawana Brawley hoax, ginning up angry mobs outside the Central Park jogger's rapists' trial, whipping up mobs after a car accident in Brooklyn's Crown Heights neighborhood killed a black child and a rabbinical student was stabbed to death, Sharpton famously incited an anti-Semitic pogrom against a Jewish-owned clothing store in Harlem, saying, "We will not stand by and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business."
Someone who was listening to Sharpton later decided to storm the store and start shooting, wounding several employees, and setting a fire that killed seven people.
[. . .]
he became famous, ran for president as a Democrat and Al Gore kissed his ring, after these events.
In January of this year, Sharpton was repeatedly rolled out as the expert commentator on civil discourse -- on NBC's "Meet the Press," NPR, CNN and MSNBC. As MSNBC's Ed Schultz said in introducing him, "Al Sharpton is on a crusade against hate speech on talk radio."

Weiner Must Resign, Goodwin

[From article]
"his refusal to quit reflects the tight grip of corruption on government.
[. . .]
Like fellow New York Dems Charlie Rangel and Eliot Spitzer, Weiner is so corrupted by power and privilege that he has lost all perspective. The only reality in their world is the one you can get away with. There is no objective truth. As he instructed a porn pal in how to lie, the aim is to keep repeating your talking points until the press gets bored or distracted.

This is the mindset of too many modern politicians, who see government as nothing more than one long battle against the other team. Weiner excelled at it and became a cable-TV star because he has no shame and more than one screw loose.
[. . .]
Giving Weiner the benefit of the doubt is to say that all values are negotiable and none is absolute. If he's good enough for government, then America is finished.

Labor Statistics Fake

[From article]
"In order to come up with growth of 54,000 new jobs the Labor Department had to assume the unlikely -- that 206,000 jobs were created by newly-formed companies it thinks but can't prove were "born" in May.

You can find that figure right on the Labor Department Web site at www.bls.gov/web/empsit/cesbd.htm. This is called Labor's Birth/Death Model, and it's the nearest thing to a fraud perpetrated by Washington."

Yale Ends Study of Anti Semitism

[From article]
"Yale University last week killed the Yale Initiative for the Interdisciplin ary Study of Antisemitism -- the only program of its kind in the country, an academically stellar one-stop anti-Semitism research shop. Worse, it almost certainly did so because YIISA refused to ignore the most virulent, genocidal and common form of Jew-hatred today: Muslim anti-Semitism."

Reporting Crimes by Victim Group Members is Racist

How can historical victims of discrimination be guilty of any crime or wrongdoing? Victims are morally superior and have only pure intentions. Indivdual members of victim groups cannot be held accountable for their criminal actions. Isn't that included in the Style Manuals of the AP, the New York Times, WaPo, NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN?

FBI Runs One-Fourth of Hacking Operations

[From article]
"Cyber policing units have had such success in forcing online criminals to co-operate with their investigations through the threat of long prison sentences that they have managed to create an army of informants deep inside the hacking community.
[. . .]
undercover FBI agents posing as "carders" – hackers specialising in ID theft – have themselves taken over the management of crime forums, using the intelligence gathered to put dozens of people behind bars.
[. . .]
Barrett Brown, who has acted as a spokesman for the otherwise secretive Anonymous, says it is fully aware of the FBI's interest. "The FBI are always there. They are always watching, always in the chatrooms. You don't know who is an informant and who isn't, and to that extent you are vulnerable."

Cornell Law Prof.: Palin Correct About Paul Revere

[From article]
"Cornell law professor William Jacobson, who asserted last week that Palin was correct, linking to Revere quotes on his conservative blog Legalinsurrection.com, said Palin’s critics are the ones in need of a history lesson. “It seems to be a historical fact that this happened,” he said. “A lot of the criticism is unfair and made by people who are themselves ignorant of history."

Preferring Male Babies to Female

[From article]
"eugenics-based ideas such as sterilizing certain provinces through the water supply.

when the supply of women goes down, their value goes up,” says author Hvistendahl. “Like with oil.”
[. . .]
women may have two husbands and two families in two separate households.
[. . .]
four intervening decades of millions more men than women,
[. . .]
men far outnumbered women in the West: Nevada had 320 men for every 100 women; Idaho, 433; Western Kansas, 768. These economies, she writes, served their demographics, with saloons and brothels the most lucrative businesses. Indian tribes would trade or sell their own women. The homicide rate in the West far outstripped the East. Women were assaulted; men were shot for sport. It wasn’t until the 1930s, when the rates of females to males became more equal, that the region really began to stabilize."

John Edwards Crashes to Earth

[From article]
"Edwards was a gifted orator who stirred audiences with his advocacy for the poor and the common man.

But he turned out to be a sleazy fraud and hypocrite.

It was five years ago -- on June 7, 2007, to be exact -- that Edwards, sounding as sincere and earnest as a multimillionaire trial lawyer can, instructed the nation's dads on how to uphold family values, as he accepted a Father of the Year award in Manhattan.

"It's true: Your children learn not just from what you say but from what you do," he told the National Father's Day Committee attendees."

Journalists Approve Denying Rights to Disabled Persons

Defendant's lawyer in an ADA action said, "Weitz seems to be exploiting the Americans with Disabilities Act, which allows the payment of attorney fees." Judges can issue sanctions for frivolous actions. Why is this reported only for ADA violations?

US Rep. Duncan Hunter said, "These lawsuits are often intended for personal profit, not for the reason of ensuring access to places of public accommodation." When millionaire thug athletes use the ADA for deterring liability for illegal drug abuses, why is there no concern from lawmakers?

If thousands of retail businesses did not permit people of color to enter their businesses and one man sued hundreds of them, would it be reported like this? Bias and denial of access among civilians, journalists, courts and law enforcement against persons with disabilities demands attention. This is one way to get it. The many taxpayer funded agencies and lawyers paid to enforce disability rights seldom do so.
What about the brutal illegal treatment of persons accused of mental illness - a legal disability? They are demonized as dangerous violent criminals for wanting not to be forcibly drugged and they are ignored. Why are equal civil and constitutional rights denied to disabled persons?

[From article]
"Weitz seems to be exploiting the Americans with Disabilities Act, which allows the payment of attorney fees, according to one lawyer who defended a business sued by Hirsch.

Dems Scaring Voters About Health Care

[From article]
"After the lopsided Senate vote, 57-40, against his "Path to Prosperity" bud get bill last week, Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin must be feeling like Paul Revere riding through Washington shouting "bankruptcy is coming" -- except that nobody is paying attention.

Certainly not the Senate Democrats -- who are in their second year of defaulting on their constitutional obligation to produce a budget.
[. . .]
To keep their hold on power, the Democrats need to panic retirees.

In fact, the outlines of their 2012 campaign are already clear: Everything in Entitlementland is hunky-dory, and Republicans want to throw Grandma from the gravy train."

Obama Abusing War Power

[From article]
"Stonewalling is, perhaps, prudent when policy is ludicrous. It is, however, intolerable in the third month of a war that Obama said would involve days, not weeks.
[. . .]
Liberals are situational ethicists regarding presidential war-making: Imagine their comportment if Obama's predecessor -- who got congressional authorization for his uses of force -- had behaved as Obama is doing regarding Libya. Most conservatives, who preen about their commitment to keeping government on a short leash, seem anesthetized by the administration's sophistries.

"No president," says Sen. John McCain, "has ever recognized the constitutionality of the War Powers Act and neither do I. So I don't feel bound by any deadline."

Oh? No law is actually a law if presidents and senators do not "recognize" it? Now, there is an interesting alternative to judicial review, and an indicator of how executive aggrandizement and legislative dereliction of duty degrade the rule of law."

Solution to ObamaCare

A man suffered a serious heart attack while shopping in a store. The store clerks called 911 when they saw him collapse to the floor. The paramedics rushed the man to the nearest hospital where he had emergency open heart bypass surgery.

He awakened from the surgery to find himself in the care of nuns at the Catholic Hospital he was taken to. A nun was seated next to his bed holding a clip board loaded with several forms, and a pen. She asked him how he was going to pay for his treatment.

"Do you have health insurance?" she asked.

He replied in a raspy voice, "No health insurance."

The nun asked, "Do you have money in the bank?"

He replied, "No money in the bank."

"Do you have a relative who could help you with the payments?" asked the irritated nun.

He said, "I only have a spinster sister, and she is a nun."

The nun became agitated and announced loudly, "Nuns are not spinsters! Nuns are married to God."

The patient replied, "Perfect. Send the bill to my brother-in-law."
