It would be helpful to teach all voters how the process actually works. There is an electoral college for primaries as well as general elections. This was established to prevent misguided voters from electing "wrong" candidates. It has not worked well as the electoral colleges are not any better than the voters. Disappointment is worse than knowing how the system works.
