Foxboro Shows Pervasive Bias Against Disabilities

There are two incidents of Foxborough public officials revealing medical records of a suspect contrary to state and US privacy laws. There are no exceptions for the reasons they did that. Police love to accuse persons of being mentally ill. It "explains" (Ahem!) why they did the alleged crime. Police like to harass and provoke persons with disabilities. It is fun not sadism. Police call suspects "dirt bags" which is helpful to the notion of innocent until proven guilty. OK for them to utter hate speech but not OK for civilians.

The selectwoman suggests that persons accused of mental illness are a threat to "normal" citizens. That suggests only persons with disabilities commit crimes. It is an easy matter to lock up all persons so accused. No due process and we can call them "dirt bags" too. Foxborough which hosts the Patriots football team, seems to enjoy pervasive bias against persons with disabilities. Under what belief system is there a causal connection between crime and violence, and an accusation of mental Illness? This man has a history of crime. May not be admissible in court. But it is helpful to try the case in media. Using a disability and slurring all persons with disabilities is an abomination accepted in that cruel hate-filled town.

"The police report said he also has a long history of mental health issues and substance abuse problems.
[. . .]
said Foxboro Selectman Lynda Walsh. '[. . .] There are people out there that have mental health issues, and you don’t know where they’re coming from.'”
