Scientists Enable Changing Skin Color




If this works for masks, it will eliminate concerns about traveling through neighborhoods which are restricted to only one human color. Some foods already make it possible to change one's skin color. This will facilitate easier self identification of skin color too.

While a chameleon’s natural state is leaf-mimicking camouflage, it will change color when they’re threatened, annoyed, or want to strut their stuff. Thanks to some research published last month in Nature Communications, future gadgets, prosthetics, and clothing might be able to do the same.
