Keeping Cambridge MA Affordable?

Not discussed in this report is the concept of eminent domain, where the city takes possession of land for public purposes. Declare a housing emergency, noting thousands of migrants arriving from the Middle East (the geographic area, not the restaurant), Africa, Mexico and China. Take Harvard University's law school quadrangle and renovate for housing. Build 20 stories of affordable housing on what Harvard calls, the science center plaza (city owned land), and then twin 50 story housing edifices on Cambridge Common. Voila. Ipso facto builto.
