Police on Wednesday released sketches and surveillance video of two suspects who allegedly pretended to be police officers as they robbed a 14-year-old boy at a Bronx subway station.
Around 4:20 p.m. Thursday, May 2, the suspects came up to the boy when he was on the platform of the No. 6 train at the Whitlock Avenue station in the North Hunts Point section of the Bronx, and told him they were police officers, police said.
They told the boy he had committed a violation and demanded that he empty his pockets, police said. One of the suspects then took out a gun and took the items from the boy, while the other snatched his chain.
