She masqueraded as a black woman — and a model.
With blond braids flowing down to her kneecaps, former NAACP chapter president Rachel Dolezal struck seductive poses in a woodsy setting in this 2012 shoot with Spokane-based photographer Thomas Richardson.
In some of the sultry snaps, she’s in a glam purple gown, and in others, she’s dressed in a cropped halter top to show off a navel ring.
The vanity shots appear to be portfolio filler — even though there is no evidence that Dolezal has ever actually done anything professionally.

“I identify as black,” the café au lait-skinned Dolezaltold the “Today” show’s Matt Lauer on Tuesdaymorning. The childhood and young-adult pictures of her as a very blond, blue-eyed lady would beg to differ.
Are we supposed to believe her — or our lying eyes?
Dolezal’s level of deception is significant. It’s not just that the former head of the NAACP’s Spokane, Wash., chapter decided to get a nice weave and bronze her skin.
It’s that she “created” a black father out of whole cloth; it’s that she told her visiting adoptive black siblings not to “blow her cover”; it’s that she created a history of familial abuse where there are no records of that actually occurring.
So why should we accept her statement that “I identify as black” at, well, face value?

the black community must deal with post-modern chickens coming home to roost.
Over several decades, the language and tactics of the black civil rights movement have been adopted, with much success, by other causes: women’s lib, gay rights, immigration. But their success risks eclipsing the specific nature and history of the African-American story.

Dolezal said some of her decisions were made for “survival reasons.” That’s stunningly ironic. What Dolezal has done over her last decade or so is what hundreds of black people did over centuries: They “passed.”

Rachel Dolezal once accused her ex-husband of forcing her to take part in a homemade sex tape,
Daily Mail Online can reveal.
Dolezal, 37, admitted participating in 'sexual acts' on camera with Kevin Moore, who has been
pictured in public for the first time since their wedding photo appeared.
However, Dolezal - a serial litigant who resigned her post as leader of the Spokane, Washington
chapter of the NAACP Monday - insisted she took part in the video against her will.
The lurid claim was one of a raft of damaging accusations she leveled at Moore, 37, in a bid to deny him access to their young son Franklin. Moore denied the allegations.
