Boston MA Police and FBI Agent Shoot Suspect Dead, Who Was Under Surveillance

Members of the Joint Terrorism Task Force reportedly shot a suspect who displayed a large, military style knife in the parking lot of CVS parking lot on 4600 Washington St. near the West Roxbury Parkway this morning.
According to online alerts, the suspect was under surveillance at the time of the shooting. He passed away after being taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Boston Police, the FBI, and Mayor Marty Walsh are at the scene and will be holding a press conference soon about the incident, according to reports.

Imam Ibrahim Rahim noted in the post that his younger brother, Usaama Rahim, was shot this morning while waiting for a bus to get to work. He later died at the hospital.
“He was confronted by three Boston Police officers and subsequently shot in the back three times,” according to the post. “He was on his cell phone with my dear father during the confrontation needing a witness. His last words to my father who heard the shots were: “I can’t breathe!’”

WCVB-TV (Boston MA ABC affiliate) reported at 6:00 PM June 2, 2015, Boston Police Commissioner Evans said they have video showing the attack by suspect on police. Evans said it will be released on Wednesday. Showed image of knife on site of confrontation. Rhondella Richardson in Everett where police took a man into custody at 208 Linden Street. Police entered with battering ram, and SWAT team at 8:00 AM Tuesday. Third site in Warwick, R.I. part of investigation. Police searched suspect's apartment, who police say they only wanted to talk with him.

Karen Anderson reported Joint Terrorism Task Force needed to act on Tuesday because of suspected attack on police. Department of Homeland Security suggested extra caution to police.
