Corrupt Friend Of White House, Mayor of Sacramento, CA Accused of Molesting Young Women

Mayor of Sacramento, CA and BFF of President

[From article]
Twenty years out, former NBA star and Democratic Mayor of Sacramento, Kevin Johnson, continues to deny having sexually abused a teenager back in 1995. But Mandi Koba is now all grown up and she's gone public with her story. The preponderance of evidence against Johnson has now caused the Sacramento Democratic Party to ask the Mayor not to run for reelection.
[. . .]
Johnson's past and present is riddled with allegations of misusing federal funds, fines, serious sexual misconduct with minors, recently failing to file timely reports in 25 cases on donations made to non-profits and more recently, delegating a portion of his mayoral staff to various nonprofit organizations and allegedly performing duties that have nothing to do with the job of mayor of the city of Sacramento. (For a more complete picture of the scandal-ridden mayor documented on AT click here, ,here, here, here, here )
As a longtime friend of Michelle and Barack Obama, Johnson seems too big to fail. When the St. HOPE Academy CEO siphoned off almost a million dollars of AmeriCorps federal grant monies for his own personal use, the Inspector General investigating the fraud was fired by the Obama White House.
Despite numerous charges of corruption and sexual deviancy, Johnson was reelected mayor in 2012, served as a leader of the U.S. Conference of Mayors in 2014, owns charter schools along with his wife education reformer Michelle Rhee, and has launched a number of non-profit initiatives. As CEO of the Kevin Johnson Foundation the mayor met regularly with the high-rollers of education reform like Bill Gates and Eli Broad. In 2010 the Broad Foundation pledged $500,000 to Johnson's nonprofit STAND UP.
