Anti-jihadist activist and blogger Pamela Geller said Friday that “of course” she is afraid for her life, but she’s more afraid of not speaking out against radicalism.”I am more afraid of doing nothing and allowing the infringement of our freedom,” Geller told Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom” program. “This has to stop. I call on all of us Americans to stand up.”

Boston Police Commissioner William Evans told the “Today” show on NBC this week that Rahim had talked about beheading Geller, but dismissed that idea as “wishful thinking,” reports The Boston Globe.On Friday, Geller told Fox that she only learned of the threat on Tuesday, when CNN called to get her response to the news. But CNN’s Erin Burnett infuriated Geller on Thursday night by asking if she relishes being threatened by jihadists.”Relish being the target?” she told Fox on Friday. “Who self-promotes to get killed?”Geller is taking the threat seriously, not only because of Boston but also “in light of the ISIS fatwa calling for my death,” she told Fox.”I am under 24-hour guard with a literal army of security,” she said, as the Islamic State (ISIS) inspired the incident in Boston, as well as an attempted attack on an event she sponsored in Garland, Texas, that included a Prophet Muhammad cartoon-drawing contest.

This is a mosque that needs to be investigated. But yet everyone is talking about me.” But the matter is “not about me,” Geller said.

I am not a Muslim,” Geller said. “People need to learn about the jihad doctrine, not shut people up talking about it … The Koran says ‘slay the non-believers wherever you find them.’ By shutting them up and disarming the American people at what is now the greatest threat to national security is a recipe for disaster.”
But blaming her for such events is like “blaming the rape victim for her too-short skirt,” said Geller in response to her critics.
“Why doesn’t the left expect Muslims to behave just the ways Catholics, Jews, and Christians do when their religion is mocked?” she said. “They give a special class or status to Muslims, expecting them to act like savages. I don’t. Who self-promotes to get themselves killed?”
