Psychiatry Used To Discredit Teen Sex Abuse Victim

Isn't it amazing how psychiatry is used to discredit victims of crime? Here's one more example of institutionalized bias against persons with disabilities. The dominant paradigm is that, as the MA State Police told me, "You cannot rely on what they say." As if people without disabilities do not lie. Ahem!

[From article]
"The lawsuit alleged that the biology teacher built a relationship with the 10th-grader, then sexually assaulted her. It said when the girl complained, the school suggested she was lying and labeled her "mentally unstable."
