Exploiting Florida Teen Shooting Death

Below mine are Pat Buchanan's thoughts on the Sanford FL shooting of a black teenager. One misguided comment he makes is that police told George Zimmerman to not follow the teen. Emergency dispatchers are seldom police officers. They have no authority to give orders to civilians.

My thoughts have moved to the devious David Axelrod, Obama's mind mentor and campaign theoretician. This event happened one month ago February 26, 2012, in Florida, a major state for the coming election. It is the type of despicable campaign conducted by political public relations flacks for their clients. Think Wag The Dog. Axelrod's profession has a history of using tragedies for political purposes. What if the Obama campaign was looking for an incident to motivate Obama's base, i.e., black voters, especially in Florida?Obama got 90 percent of black voters in 2008. They are less enthusiastic this year. But if it were possible to whip up animosity toward whites it might motivate them to vote as vigorously as they did in 2008. If this event happened a month earlier and it was brought to the attention of Axelrod, he would immediately see the potential for what is happening now. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, New Black Panther Party, Louis Farrakhan, and other racialists, joined by Liberal media idiots flood the airwaves and ISPs with misleading stories. They allege how the innocent teen was brutally murdered. They say the police are as racist as white people. Indicating his lack of a spine, the Police Chief stepped down to allow a black police captain to manage the Sanford police department.

That is what I see is happening before our eyes. It is how the media works. It is almost hilarious how stupid educated people are regarding news reports. They believe whatever they see that substantiates what they believe. Media reports become reality to them. Even those who read every day and write and talk on air, show their limited reasoning ability with regard to what is a fact, or evidence. They repeatedly say that news stories are evidence. Two Harvard Law School students assert "facts" they read in newspapers. It is troubling to see how irrational so many highly educated people are. This shows how easy it is to fool many people. That half of the US voters voted for Obama the media image in 2008 shows how easily voters are misled.

I just wanted to get that out there because it is very possible that it is a major media campaign exploiting the death of the young man. That his parents have applied to trademark his name for profit shows that they have little compassion for their own son. Don't know what to make of that.

What shows me that this is an extreme example of the double standard of politicians and journalists is the fact that John Sanderson, 21, a white student at Mississippi State University was shot dead by three black men in his dorm building. That was on or about March 24, 2012. There is little media attention to his death. I see no rational explanation. I know there are many irrational ones. I hear them regularly in Cambridge, MA and from Harvard students, faculty, alumni and administrators. It is truly amazing how many highly educated people lack awareness of how little sense they make.

Why doesn't Obama give a Tucson-type speech over Trayvon incident?
