White House Diverts Attention From Criminal Scandals With Non Gender Bathrooms

Agree that this is one of many issues used by PR flacks to divert attention, not just from important issues, but also from many criminal scandals of this lawless administration. What is extremely troubling is how alleged conservative pundits, including the erudite Mark Levin, no less the obedient mindless lame stream journalists, spend far too much time discussing these diversions.

[From article]
Let's add the battle over transgenders and bathrooms to Obama's favorite pastime of distractions.
To be honest, I think bathrooms are for boys and girls. This is why we identify them as such on the door. Furthermore, women are entitled to a sense of privacy about going to a public bathroom.
Most important of all, this is an issue that should be settled by state legislatures. We don't need a Roe v. Wade about bathrooms.

Let North Carolina decide. Let them figure this out, and they will.
In the meantime, the Obama administration should use its time to deal with real issues, such as:
1) Obamacare premiums: The rates are going up from coast to coast. They are about to explode in 2017.
[. . .]
2) The last GDP number started with a zero. In fact, the U.S. economy is weaker than anticipated:
[. . .]
3) The battles vs. ISIS is not going well. In fact, the public does not think we are winning, and with good reason.

So what do you do when Obamacare premiums are crushing family budgets, or the economy is losing steam and the wars on drugs and terror are lacking a strategy?
The answer is that you find topics to distract your base with, such as getting into a war with North Carolina over bathrooms.
Our Founding Fathers got this right many years ago. They gave the federal government certain responsibilities and left the rest to the states. This bathroom issue is for the states, and the Justice Department should get back to doing something important, such as enforcing immigration laws.

Low and No Information Voters Encouraged By Media Manipulators

[From article]
Dinner conversations took the term “low-info-voter” to an entirely new level. While a few friends and relatives were politically well informed, the majority were shockingly clueless.
Our family and friends are well aware that my wife Mary and I are political activists and members of the Tea Party. When asked who they should vote for president, I recommended Ted Cruz, of whom they never heard. Someone said, “Isn't there a black doctor running?” They know Trump from his TV shows. They know a woman and a Bush are running. That was the extent of my family and friends knowledge of the GOP primary. They knew nothing about the Iran Nuke Deal or the Planned Parenthood scandal.
[. . .]
This is why GOP presidential contenders must stop taking the bait and apologizing every time the MSM lays a trap while demanding an apology.
[. . .]
I would have loved to hear Trump say, “Why are you asking me such stupid questions? Planned Parenthood is black marketing dead baby body parts. Why are you complicit in hiding this horrific evil scandal from the public?”
[. . .]

Stephanopoulos and his ilk are disgusting.
GOP presidential contenders need to wake up and realize they are not going to get a fair shot from the MSM. Nor will the MSM tell the American people (voters) the truth about any issue.
[. . .]
Playing nice with the MSM and not attacking Obama's record is not going to get it done in our current political environment. Two great governors dropped out of the race for the GOP presidential nomination, Rick Perry and Scott Walker.
[. . .]
Patriots campaigned, funded, and voted for conservatives with little or no results. There is a sense of desperation and urgency in the air. Americans instinctively know we are losing our country, despite the MSM's spin. Voters are favoring “outsiders” in hope that they will keep their word and deliver real change.
[. . .]
The American people are fed up with PC, liars, and betrayers.

Who Will Save The United States? Can It Be Saved?

[From article]
In 1856 Harper’s Magazine published a quote first attributed to Jose Correia de Serra, a Portuguese Abbot, scientist and close friend of Thomas Jefferson: “It has been said that a ‘special Providence watches over children, drunkards and the United States’.” The presidency of Barack Obama is the latest example of the accuracy of this observation, since the American people have been granted a last chance, before it is too late, to reverse course as a window has been forced open for the citizenry to view what future will bring if the nation remains on its present course.
[. . .]
those truly committed to socialist/Marxist philosophy and tactics remained in the shadows until the 1960’s.
[. . .]
the mainstream media, the entertainment complex and the ultimate target: the Democratic Party. These vital segments of the culture are now instruments of indoctrination, propaganda and political power.
The curriculum throughout all levels of schooling and the scripts of movies and television shows were gradually but inexorably altered to reflect the American left’s mindset, not only about governing, but their determination to undermine basic societal moral and religious underpinning as a necessary step in assuring that an eventual ill-educated and dependent populace would look to a government controlled by a single political party as their savior and provider.
[. . .]

No nominee in the history of the United States was less qualified to be president, as he had no accomplishments or executive experience except to be steeped in socialist/Marxist ideology and tactics. Nonetheless due to a extraordinary confluence of circumstances -- the self-inflicted and near universal unpopularity of George W. Bush, a catastrophic financial meltdown six weeks before the presidential election, uninspiring and feckless opposition in the primaries and the general election and, most importantly, the unique factor of skin color -- [Obama] was elected President.
[. . .]
I am an immigrant to this country and a displaced survivor of a war that destroyed a continent. A war fomented by men, beginning the 1920’s, who also adhered to the same basic tenets espoused by Barack Obama and his fellow travelers. I have seen and experienced the end product of their narcissism and megalomania. Based on firsthand knowledge I can attest to the existence of God as well as his helping hand. God has given the people of the United States one last opportunity, through the circumstances of the election of Barack Obama, to rescue the last best hope of mankind. There will be no divine intervention -- it is for the people, in their free will, to decide. If the citizenry chooses to maintain its present course, God will turn his back on this nation as he has done with much of Europe and the Middle East.

Few Young Voters Know Either US Senator From Their State

[From article]
For one thing, they say they’re increasingly engaged ahead of the all-important election — but it’s also clear they’re not very well-informed. And they think government can help them, particularly in an area where they’ve struggled to get ahead — in their jobs.
[. . .]
According to the survey, 49 percent say they are politically unaffiliated — including a majority (58 percent) of young Latino voters, half of young male voters, and half of the 25-29-aged voters in the sample.
[. . .]
77 percent of 18- to 34-year-olds in the new survey could not name even one US senator in their home state.
[. . .]
The finding provides fodder for the suggestion that millennials are relatively uninformed political citizens.
[. . .]
Where millennials differ from the rest of the American population, however, is in their view that, overall, government is generally good.

Television Networks Continue to Keep Voters and Taxpayers Un-Informed

[From article]
On Tuesday evening, NBC’s evening newscast acknowledged the name Jonathan Gruber for the first time and his insulting comments regarding ObamaCare a full 32 days after the group American Commitment unearthed the first Gruber video on November 7.
[. . .]
Williams began the 2-minute-and-12-second segment by remarking that “it is unlikely that most Americans have heard the name Jonathan Gruber until a few weeks ago, when a video emerged of him insulting their intelligence.” His statement can be viewed as rather ironic, considering the fact that the viewers of his own program were kept in the dark on the ObamaCare architect, depriving them knowledge of the story until now.
[. . .]
While NBC Nightly News ended its silence on Gruber, the same cannot be said for NBC’s Spanish-language counterpart and fellow NBC Universal network Telemundo. Its evening newscast, Noticiero Telemundo, made no mention of Gruber appearing before Congress on Tuesday. Further, the program has yet to even mention Gruber and any of his unprofessional remarks.

Voters Remove Veil, Revealing Deception of White House

[From article]
Barack Obama is now a toxic brand. Arrogance and incompetence are a fatal brew. If once his problem was his failed policies, now it is also his persona, especially the blame-gaming and sense of boredom on the job that borders on public petulance, as if he came into the presidency to save us, and we did not appreciate his godhead.
[. . .]
The bankrupt idea that an amoral Al Sharpton was to be consulted on matters of race, while someone like a Senator Tim Scott would not be was always surreal. And the idea that a Wendy Davis or a Sandra Fluke was a model of feminist achievement in a way Joni Ernst was not was equally absurd. Character and achievement still matter.
[. . .]
Fairly or not, the face of the Democratic party has been Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi.

Pelosi Declares Voters Ignorant, They Elected Her

[From article]
Pelosi went on to say that 50% of Americans don’t even know there are mid-term elections and how that needs to change. In the next breath, she said that “people are very wise.” Maher asked her how it could be that half the country doesn’t realize there are mid-term elections and be very wise at the same time.

Elections By Uninformed Voters

It is more than academic that the votes of informed voters are canceled out by clueless voters who vote for the name or appearance of candidates. More troubling is the fantasy published by V.O. Key Jr. in 1966 providing more evidence that ideas published by credentialed authors may not be based in fact but on wishful thinking or propaganda. Prior to 1966 Henry Louis Mencken recognized that "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people." That is obvious from election results. Winston Churchill observed, "The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter." What are those taxpayer funded schools run by teachers' unions doing about that? Not so much.

Clueless Voters Must Be Educated

[From article]
Students are often spectacularly clueless. Revealing Politics' Caleb
Bonham and Lacey Meeks attended an Obama event on the campus of Ohio
University a month after the raid on the Benghazi consulate to see
what Obama supporters thought of the President's response.  The video
they created is both amusing and depressing, but it is not at all
surprising
"I have no idea," laugh two girls when asked what they think about the
Benghazi incident.  "I am really uninformed about that," says another.
"When did that happen?" asks still another.  "I don't even know what
this is honestly," says a fellow. When asked about Ambassador Chris
Stevens, several just shrug their shoulders and say, "Who's he?"

Rotten Population Brought Obama Victory

Romney was only the candidate. The problem is the citizens who voted
for Obama. That indicates a population corrupt, self centered and only
interested in now, and what they can get from taxpayers. Ben Franklin
observed that a corrupt population leads to tyranny. Fixing the damage
done by Obama and his mindless, misguided greedy colleagues is easier
than fixing the mindless, misguided voters.

US Population is Hopeless and Careless

[This appears on several sites, with no attribution beyond the vague publication and country of origin.]

Quote from a European Newspaper

Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way that you can quickly understand them. This is from the Czech Republic translated into English from an article in the Prague newspaper Prager Zeitungon:

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president."

Expresses my sentiments after 15 years of close scrutiny of the Cambridge City Council in Cambridge MA. It is the city that is host to Harvard University, MIT and Lesley University. I spent many hours attending, speaking at and writing to the City Council, boards and Commissions of the City, and neighborhood associations, which are more like homeowners associations. I realized that elected and appointed officials do not listen to citizens. They respond to wealthy and politically influential persons and groups. When a citizen observes that officials are violating city and state laws, no less US laws, the response of officials is, "Will you shut up." After explaining this to citizens who say they are concerned, the reaction is "I'll give you money but I have no time to help you." Ben Franklin observed that a corrupt population leads directly to tyranny. The contemporary population of the United States is focused only on now and what they can get from others using taxpayer funds. There is no concern about the future. It is an example of a democracy committing suicide. There is not much one can do, with an ignorant population driven by greed.

City Manager: The Courts are wrong.

The City Manager sounds like a convicted prisoner in jail. He trusts the courts except when it applies to his actions. It is laughable to see his comments and to watch the City Council's spineless conduct. "What me worry?" is their motto. The Spending Other People's Money Society marches onward. $10 million here, a few hundred thousand to some lawyers and the carnival plays on. In the upper class lawless enclave of Cambridge MA where homosexual limousine liberals rule, voters lack any will to stop the institutionalized criminal abuses. The out of control city plays to their clueless and mindless supporters of liberalism. Taxpayers care little about their contributions to this masquerade. They willingly give a portion of their inherited wealth each year to be a part of the elitists who run this satanic political cabal.

Politicians Prefer Clueless Voters

But, but, but ... If people know, how can the duly elected legal political leadership educate the voters on what needs to be done? I mean, like, you know, if voters know stuff who needs leaders to think for them? They might vote based on what they know instead of what they don't know. Then how can we get re-elected? This is a seriously dangerous matter that must end now. No more information for people who want to know.
