Sarah Palin On US Congress

[From article]
"Members of Congress exempt themselves from the laws they apply to the rest of us. That includes laws that protect whistleblowers (nothing prevents members of Congress from retaliating against staffers who shine light on corruption) and Freedom of Information Act requests (it’s easier to get classified documents from the CIA than from a congressional office).
[. . .]
that the only solution to entrenched corruption is sudden and relentless reform. Sudden because our permanent political class is adept at changing the subject to divert the public's attention—and we can no longer afford to be indifferent to this system of graft when our country is going bankrupt. Reform must be relentless because fighting corruption is like a game of whack-a-mole. You knock it down in one area only to see it pop up in another."

Stern, has put prosecutors on notice that she will invoke her federal right not to testify against her husband if questioned about how much he may have known of his in-laws’ alleged criminal ring. Harvard Law School Reveals The Real Obama

Finally an objective voice. Voters are sick of propaganda and public relations spin doctors. These lectures should be broadcast on 60 Minutes, The David Letterman Show, The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and reprinted in the New York Times Magazine so that all who love honesty, objectivity and truth can see the hidden sides of the Harvard Law School Champ President. Truth about this President who worships credentials was kept from taxpayers and voters by the right wing conspiracy of the mainstream media. We are not worthy of having truth available from Harvard Law School. Show us the light and the way.

[second comment]
“Barack Obama was in fact born August 4, 1961, in Hawaii,” Ogletree explained. “We have [Donald] Trump to thank for that.” But see Jerome Corsi's new book "Where's the Birth Certificate." With 100 pages of exhibits, and detailed research he states, "Obama has never made public his original long-form, hospital generated birth certificate. (page 62) "The issue is not whether Obama is a citizen, but whether he is a natural born citizen." (page 67) "U.S. citizenship under the 14th Amendment does not equate to natural-born citizenship as mandated for the presidency in Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution." (page 67) "Each baby born at a hospital in Hawaii in 1961 generated a long-form birth certifcate signed by the attending physician that specified all relevant information about the brith, including the name of the baby and parents, the hospital where the baby was born, and the baby's weight, race, and time of birth." (page 113)

Lawyer Demonizes His Client and Persons With Disabilities

"John Darrell, said his troubled client had a 'long, long history of mental illness' and no memory of the brutal attack." He shows his ignorance of the privacy interests of his client, joining prosecutors and journalists. Of what value is it to reveal his client's medical records at an arraignment? Why do journalists repeat this obscenity? There is no rational reason. Notifying the Court of potential use of an insanity defense is required, but not at an arraignment. Journalists and prosecutors sensationalize disability to demonize suspects. They slur all persons ever accused of mental illness, a legal disability. Using medical records of disability indicates a lack of respect for his client's rights. But also the defense attorney shows his own bias suggesting that the history of disability is the cause of the violence. He shows his lack of awareness that psychiatric drugs are known to cause violence. Even the drug company controlled FDA requires a warning label on the bottle for these drugs. Why is there no recognition that the toxic drugs may be what caused the violent reaction of this suspect? The drug company lobbyists perpetuate a fraud on the public and the taxpayer funded government and courts. One more element of the elected career criminal political class.

Muslims Get Legal Assistance While Police Target Citizens With No Concern

NYPD says they spy on Muslims to stop terrorism. I am an American, not a Muslim. Police FBI informants and various sociopaths not only keep me under 24/7 surveillance even at my home, but actively harass me, provoke me and broadcast character assassination for 40 years. The Muslims complain and have legal advocates provide legal advice. Why do so many allegedly compassionate citizens of the liberal, progressive state of MA, in the more liberal, more progressive city of Cambridge allow this criminal abuse for so many years?

[From article]
"Fed up with a decade of the police spying on the innocuous details of the daily lives of Muslims, activists in New York are discouraging people from going directly to the police with their concerns about terrorism,

New Test For Down Syndrome

[From article]
"Dr. Palomaki’s assurance that “nearly all women with a normal pregnancy could avoid an invasive diagnostic procedure” also deserves consideration. Most parents of children with Down syndrome would object to the crass labeling of their sons and daughters as abnormal. Putting that aside, Down syndrome is but a small fraction of the baseline risk every pregnancy has for what is commonly considered a birth defect. Further, Down syndrome represents only about half of chromosomal conditions identified through invasive testing. This means that for each woman who opts for invasive testing following a positive MaterniT21 result, there could be another woman falsely reassured by a negative result that her child will not have a chromosomal condition."

Obama, Credentials and Lack of Common Sense

Obama is obsessed with credentials. His misadventures and incompetent appointees show how useless they are.

[From article]
"Meanwhile, the nation’s entrenched credential industry is beginning to face tough questions. More and more, these diploma shills, also known as universities, are being asked whether its certificates of specialness are worth, say, $200,000.
[. . .]
Today the universities are equipping armies of young people with useless degrees in Art History or Women’s Studies or Peace and disgorging them into the world with six-figure debt, no marketable skills and a soon-to-be dashed sense of entitlement. Moreover, you can’t wipe out student loans by declaring bankruptcy. Is it any wonder young grads are loafing around Zuccotti Park planning the revolution? They’ve got nothing better to do.
President Obama is doing his best to exacerbate the problem by proposing to wipe out college debt after 20 years (or 10 for those who do “public service”). Colleges would love that: They could keep raising tuition and leave taxpayers on the hook.

How Judges Avoid Accountability

The aunt of the suspect knew--knew--he was going to kill. Why did she allow him near anyone? Saying "the courts kept letting him go,” indicates that the courts are not able to distinguish between dangerous persons and ordinary eccentrics. Courts pay psychiatrists or psychologists, who claim to be able to predict the future, to make the decisions. See how accurately their prognostications are. The trier of fact is charged with making such decisions. But judges avoid accountability by deferring to the professional predictors. This is not only a waste of taxpayer funds, but judges do not do their jobs and get paid anyway. Like their legislative colleagues judges need to man up, do their job, and be held accountable for their errors. Why are they judges if they cannot distinguish between criminals and ordinary citizens?

Psychiatric Drugs and Three Homicides

The key fact overlooked in this report is that the suspect was "heavily medicated." Psychiatric drugs are known to cause homicidal and suicidal thoughts. The drug-company-controlled FDA requires a black warning label showing how dangerous the drugs are. Yet journalists and police continue to show how clueless they are of the fraudulent nature of psychiatry. The drugs are often the cause of violence. When will some prosecutor with common sense, a rare commodity among public officials, recognize this fact and indict the psychiatrists who prescribe the chemicals? The industry blames the individuals who are a victims of state sponsored drug abuse. It is convenient that US psychiatrists are believed to have genes cleansed of greed, mendacity and sadism. They are thought to be superior humans and obeyed by police, politicians, journalists and judges. It provides easy answers to crime. The illness made him do it. Not the drugs made him do it. The cure is worse than the illness. Medicalizing social problems was a Nazi project. Jews were vermin needing extermination. A diagnosis does not allow for any appeals. Medical professionals can end a person's freedom with no due process protections.

[From article]

Making Crime Into Illnesses

Former NFL coach Dick Vermeil wrote the forward in Sandusky's book. "If it's true, he's a sick man. He had an illness none of us knew about. That's all." His comments show he accepts the Therapeutic State promoted by the psychiatric industry. Making illnesses out of anti social behavior, i.e., criminal acts is what the Nazis did in Germany. They medicalized social problems. They declared Jews to be vermin, needing extermination. There is no appeal from a medical diagnosis. It allows the state to deny basic rights to individuals who become unpopular with the ruling class. Yet it comes into the dominant paradigm as benign, not demonizing those helpless individuals who harm others. Their crimes are rationalized under made up illnesses which need treatment. And who provides the treatment? Psychiatrists.

[From article]
"They adopted six kids -- Sandusky had told people they couldn't have children -- and raised five boys and one girl.
[. . .]
Studies show that roughly half of child molesters were abused at some point in their lives, Finkelhor said. But there are a variety of other factors, too. He says some experts believe genetics, developmental experiences and prenatal issues might be involved.

Spin Doctors Rule Reality

The desire to keep unpleasant facts from the public to protect an institution is now institutionalized in the Public Relations Industry. Locally Harvard University has its own police. The White House has enough influence to keep secret or to spin major blunders into positive perspectives.

[From article]
"The instinct to protect a reputation is nothing new.
At the height of the scandal in the Catholic Church, when Cardinal Law was featured in the role Joe Paterno now plays, a young priest named Bryan Parrish offered an interesting theory.
“I think part of this stems from the history of Irish Catholics in this part of the country, back to a time when protecting the institution was necessary,” he suggested. “That mindset of dealing with our problems internally has been perpetuated to this day, a ‘let’s keep it all in the house’ approach that led to a lack of openness.”

New Humans Just Like The Old Ones

Young writers and activists lack historical perspective and are clueless about human nature. People have not changed for 5,000 years. But the progressive Boston Phoenix says "It's inherently fascinating that a movement spawned from outrage over greed was tainted by thievery." The 99 percent are just as human and greedy as the one percent. Get used to it.

The second outrage regularly appearing in the progressive Boston Phoenix is its negative stereotyping of persons with disabilities. The use of negative terms like "bipolar" and "nut job" as in this article are disgusting but normal usage at this "alternative" paper. How is the Phoenix different from lame stream media insulting persons with disabilities? The Phoenix is shameless just like the greedy politicians who oppress the Occupant movement while they attack greedy corporate leaders who are no different than themselves.

[From article]

Minorities Don't Vote Ethnicity or Race?

Arroyo's comment shows a misguided view of voters. In September 2011 the Boston Business Journal announced

http://www.bizjournals.com/boston/print-edition/2011/09/09/the-face-of-boston-a.html?page=all

that Boston had joined Newark, Baltimore and Atlanta as majority minority cities. There are more non white people than white people in Boston. To suggest that ethnicity and race no longer matter now that minorities are the majority is self serving nonsense. It also suggests that non White people are superior to Whites because they do not focus on race and ethnicity. That too is self serving nonsense. People are people, White, Black, Hispanic, etc. Some vote for names, some for issues, and some for ethnicity and race. Get used to it. Black voters went 90 percent for Obama. On Issues?

[From article]
"The city of Boston proved once again that they look past race when they're looking at a candidate," Arroyo says. "The focus is on the issues and what we are doing for the city."
[. . .]
That's not to say race, neighborhood, and ethnicity don't matter in Boston any more. But it does mean that pols who rely on those factors are at a fatal disadvantage,"

Prescription Drugs, an Awesome Business

Are prescription drugs an awesome business model or what? Patients get hooked on pain killers. The same manufacturers create a drug to wean them off the other drugs. This business is promoted by psychiatrists whose genes have been cleansed of greed, mendacity and sadism. The US Government officially approves their use. Prominent television celebrities appear on news programs (e.g., 60 Minutes) which are sponsored by these chemical pushers. How can you not buy their common stocks? I mean, like, you know what I'm talking about? If anyone opposes this system they are accused of hating curing illnesses, and hating science.

Censoring Pat Buchanan

Here again truth is being actively censored by political interest groups. How can anyone solve problems without being able to discuss them? This is bullying and propaganda by media itself. Sadly too many American citizens are comatose and lack awareness that they are being misled.

Sarah Palin: Fire Eric Holder!

[From article]
"When an agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives blew the whistle on this operation, the DOJ leaked sensitive information about him to the press. This week, the former U.S. Attorney for Arizona, who was ousted in the wake of the scandal, admitted to being the leaker.
[. . .]
In his testimony to the House Oversight Committee on May 3, 2011, Holder stated, “I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.” But the DOJ’s own documents prove that Holder had been receiving briefings on Fast and Furious for nearly a year before that date. In other words, our government’s top law enforcement official, Eric Holder, lied to the American public."

Cambridge Man Charged With Cigarette Smuggling

While this man was smuggling cigarettes from South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia, the local police, crime families and Harvard campus cops keep me under surveillance, harass me and deprive me of sleep. The clear priorities of the law enforcement apparatus in MA shows how thoroughly corrupt this state is. How much influence does Harvard have on establishing the priorities? What is the role of the silence of the 5 law schools in Boston and the prestigious Kennedy School of Government at Harvard? At the same time these institutions which practice omerta urge teenagers to snitch on their colleagues. How cute!

Snitching for Thee But Not For Me?

The idea that snitching is wrong, is supported by police, lawyers, doctors and even Harvard academics. How often do professionals snitch on their colleagues? Why do they urge ordinary civilians, especially poor teenagers to snitch on their colleagues? Cambridge residents live under the guidance of Harvard's Kennedy School of Government's academic morality. Every time I write something negative about a city official or a Harvard celebrity the next day, sometimes the same day thugs threaten me, provoke me or keep me under surveillance using campus cops or city police employees. Intimidating a person in the free exercise of a constitutionally guaranteed rights is a felony under MA state laws. In Cambridge laws are optional. Three city employees won large settlements (one for $10 million) for retaliation by the City Manager. Retaliation is the rule not the exception in Cambridge. Why should it be any different in poor Boston neighborhoods? Why should there be one rule for the rich and another for the poor?

Man Finds Two GPS Tracking Devices on His car

[From article]
"The Justice Department has said that law enforcement agents employ GPS as a crime-fighting tool with “great frequency,” and GPS retailers have told Wired that they’ve sold thousands of the devices to the feds.
[. . .]
The Obama administration will be defending the warrantless use of such trackers in front of the Supreme Court on Tuesday morning. The administration, which is attempting to overturn a lower court ruling that threw out a drug dealer’s conviction over the warrantless use of a tracker, argues that citizens have no expectation of privacy when it comes to their movements in public so officers don’t need to get a warrant to use such devices.

SCOTUS On GPS, Still Lags Far Behind Technology

Too bad that the US court system is decades behind technology. For the past 40 years crime families and Communists embedded in local, state and US government agencies kept me under 24 hour surveillance. Orwell's Big Brother arrived in my life and has not left. That is and was bad. Those who make the laws are mostly clueless about available technology which is also capable of tormenting humans from adjacent buildings and floors of buildings. Technology can go through walls. Thermal imaging was addressed by the Court in KYLLO V. UNITED STATES (99-8508) 533 U.S. 27 (2001) 190 F.3d 1041, reversed and remanded. Some states (MA, MI and ME) have laws criminalizing use of devices which emit electromagnetic radiation, ultra sound and other beams or waves. US Code makes exposing a human to radiation punishable by a fine of $2 million. But local police refuse to address such abuses. Instead local police, crime families, FBI informants and Communists use the technology to control, to provoke and to discredit their targets. Psychiatric criminals join crime families and Communists to destroy people, for personal, political and economic reasons. The US Constitution falls and fails to protect individuals being tormented by government and private criminals who use new technology.

[From article]
"A Supreme Court justice on Tuesday expressed major concerns that the government would engage in round-the-clock surveillance reminiscent of the totalitarian world of the George Orwell novel 1984 if the court ruled in the government's favor."

When asked what defines Cambridge for him, Nelson cited the City’s impressive diversity, in everything from ethnic restaurants to economic strata. “In terms of diversity, Cambridge is one of a kind,” Nelson says.

Oh? Cambridge voters, and taxpayers are the most intolerant of diverse opinions. With respect to diversity of ethnicity and diversity Cambridge is limited to upper class ethnicities, as opposed to New York City which has always had people from all countries and all economic classes. Cambridge already has 9 progressive councilors who support SEIU campaigns. Is there a need for a tenth?

"Apart from education and urban planning and development, Seidel says he considers the environment to be the “biggest, [most] important topic in society.” City taxpayers are fortunate to have a Councilor with his priorities. Maybe in Cambridge the environment is "the biggest, [most] important topic." But in society? Unemployement? Corruption? War? Seidel shows courage supporting education. Harvard Students to Provide Facts to Protesters

Why the double standard? Who will "combat charges that [officials in local, state and US government] are uninformed about public policy issues?" US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi urged Congress to pass the Health Care Bill in order to find out what's in it. High powered DC lobbyist Jack Abramoff on 60 Minutes noted that the "Members" do not read legislation." Why impose a higher standard on unelected unpaid protesters than those who write the laws?

[Reply to Comment]
You think voters and taxpayers should interact directly "not mediated through a small number of pundits on a smaller number of 'mainstream' media." Are you suggesting that journalists are not keeping voters and taxpayers informed of facts? Are you implying that journalists may be working for the same economic and political interests as politicians and lobbysits? Are journalists as clueless as elected officials? Or are they publishing what their PR mentors are feeding them?

First Nationwide Test of Emergency Alert System

EAS (Emergency Alert System)

The United States Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) have announced the first-ever national test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) will take place on Wednesday Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. EST.

The EAS is a national alert and warning system established to enable the President of the United States to address the American public during emergencies. The National Weather Service, governors, and state and local officials also utilize parts of the system to issue more localized emergency alerts.

The purpose of the test is to determine the reliability of the system and its effectiveness in notifying the public of emergencies and potential dangers nationally and regionally. Similar to the frequently conducted statewide EAS tests, the nationwide test will involve broadcast radio and television services, cable television, satellite radio and television services and wireline video service providers across all states and the territories of Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa.

On November 9, the public will hear a message indicating, “This is a test.” The audio message will be the same for all EAS participants, however, due to the limitations in the EAS the video test message scroll may not be the same or indicate that “This is a test.” The text at the top of the screen may indicate that an “Emergency Alert Notification has been issued.” This notification is used to disseminate a national alert and in this case, the test. In addition, the background image that appears on video screens during an alert may indicate that “This is a test,” but in some instances there might not be an image at all. The test is expected to last approximately three minutes.

FEMA and the FCC are reaching out to organizations representing people with hearing disabilities to better prepare that community for this national test. In addition, both FEMA and the FCC are working with EAS participants to explore solutions to address this limitation.

Through the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), the Commonwealth has the capability of alerting the public through the EAS system. MEMA serves as the state coordinating agency for disseminating local, regional and state initiated emergency alerts via the EAS. MEMA, in consultation with the Governor’s Office, used the EAS to provide emergency messages to the public as recently as June 1, 2011 when tornadoes hit areas of the state, and as Tropical Storm Irene impacted the state in late August.

MEMA will coordinate with our state public safety partners on November 9 to also test our redundant systems for pushing emergency messages to local and state public officials, including police, fire, emergency management and public health. MEMA coordinates a system that includes VHF, UHF and 800 MHz radio communications that link all municipalities; text, email and cellular phone alerting systems for public safety, public health and municipal officials; dedicated direct phone lines with regional fire control centers; and links to law enforcement through the Criminal Justice information System (CJIS).

This event should also serve as a reminder for all citizens to make an emergency preparedness kit for their family and business, develop a strong emergency plan and become better informed about the natural and technological threats to their community.

The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) is the state agency responsible for coordinating federal, state, local, voluntary and private resources during emergencies and disasters in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. MEMA provides leadership to: develop plans for effective response to all hazards, disasters or threats; train emergency personnel to protect the public; provide information to the citizenry; and assist individuals, families, businesses and communities to mitigate against, prepare for, and respond to and recover from emergencies, both natural and man made. For additional information about MEMA and Flooding Issues, go to www.mass.gov/mema. Also, follow MEMA updates on Facebook and Twitter.

Alternatives to Confronting Muslim Sharia Law

[Comments by Ray Hanna,
Chapter Leader ACTBOSTON]

The religious oppression of Christians in the Middle East has been going on since the militant conquest of islam in the region started 1400 years ago. They will continue until their war until Dar islam is a reality. We in America are considered to be in Dar Harb. These are the only two scenarios available to muslims. Areas of the world that are under 100% islamic rule are in Dar islam. Everywhere less is at war with islam. Even when we have useful idiots placating to the islamists, which they consider a weakness on our part, islamists consider being at war with anyone or any country that is not under sharia law. The second class citizenry of Copts in Egypt will continue until there are no more Christians left in Egypt.

Whether mulims murder in mass quantity such as the massacre of Copts while marching on the Maspero Building in Cairo in Oct of this year, or the beating to death of a student for not covering his cross in class http://www.aina.org/news/20111030133621.htm this will never end until one of two things happen. Either we stand together and fight because they know no other way. Or we give in to islamic tyranny. The choice is yours. When you go to the link and see a young vibrant man standing up for his religious beliefs in the first picture and then you see a true martyr in the second picture you will know that he died defending his God given rights. We should have the courage this young man had, and truly stand up to those who would take our freedoms away.

At least if they made the specious argument that Congress does not have the authority. Oh, isn't that what Watergate and Archibald Cox resolved in 1973?

Bootleggers, Mobsters and My Mom, Book Review

Just finished reading Bob Rosenthal's latest book about Passaic, Bootleggers, Mobsters, and My Mom. He reveals a notorious murder which remained unsolved for 80 years. He describes historical details of the strong Passaic economy with its woolen mills, the growth of unions and the brutality of police and factory owners. He explains the role of Alan B. Dumont (remember WABD channel 5?) who created the cathode ray tube used in the first televisions, and why he was driven out of business. Nonetheless the first TV program was broadcast from Passaic at 2 Main Avenue. Rosenthal adds to the panache of being from Passaic.

FBI Chases Its Tail

It warms the heart knowing the FBI is targeting street gangs in southern Maine. When will they target police gangs, police protected white collar gangs, and politician gangs who steal more with abusing their legal powers than thousands of street gangs could ever imagine. Are there no gangs within the FBI? Or do the crime families run the FBI?

Fuzzy Math in Cambridge Public Policy

[Updated December 7, 2011 10:30 AM]
The City Council passed an "order" copied below on December 5, 2011 regarding official neglect of persons with disabilities. City Councilor Leland Cheung alerted me to the introduction of the order. It remains to be seen,
1. Will the City Manager respond at all? He is known to ignore orders arbitrarily.
2. What further than a report will this order merit?
3. Will the city adopt any actions to equalize the focus of their affirmative action programs?

WHEREAS:
After an immensely successful dialogue about the racial and gender makeup of the City's workforce at a recent City Council meeting, residents are requesting that the number of disabled individuals in the city government be made available to the public; now therefore be it
ORDERED:
That the City Manager be and hereby is requested to work with the Personnel Department to look into the disability makeup of the City's workforce by level and department and report back to the City Council on this matter.

Adopted by the affirmative vote of nine members.

A true copy;
ATTEST:-D. Margaret Drury, City Clerk

Notice there are no numbers for persons with disabilities employed by the city. Not now not ever. Journalists join bigoted officials catering to wealthy politically connected victim groups. Disabled persons are as numerous in the city and in the US as Black people. Yet the City Council, the City Manager, the School Committee and journalists continue to ignore this large group. Disabled persons are only of interest to the depraved public officials, as clients for the human services industry which takes $2 billion in MA taxpayer funds each year. City officials deny disabled persons the right to participate in the general society, contrary to the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and the Equal Protection Clause of 1866. But more typically the unlawful city policy is ignored by the comatose Cambridge Human Rights Commission. When I complain about this bigoted illegal policy boasted of by the City Council and the School Committee, they send out police thugs for harassment, character assassination and surveillance. Reliable sources point to City Councilor Reeves as the most abusive retaliating for free expression that he dislikes. He is accused of allegedly broadcasting two loathsome elements at me. The cure for mental illness and racism, according to Reeves is allegedly criminal assaults and abuses of power. The alleged efforts by Reeves are felonies under the MA Civil Rights Statute. But in Cambridge laws are optional for city officials. This is a charming City Council which denies not only the right to equal opportunity to persons with disabilities but attacks citizens who complain about their unlawful public policy abuses. The City reluctantly agreed to pay three claimants who filed lawsuits for retaliation. Yet they continue to retaliate against me for Constitutionally protected speech. The city acts and speaks with forked tongues.

Online Help Fighting Mexican Drug Cartels

[From article]
"It is common knowledge that members of local, state and federal governments in Mexico support various cartel groups. In the state of Veracruz, it is generally believed that some members of the state government support Los Zetas, the dominant cartel there.
[. . .]
Mexico’s various cartels long have used the Internet to trumpet their triumphs on the battlefield and to taunt and even degrade their enemies. The cartels have posted videos of the torture, execution and desecration of the corpses of rivals. They also frequently monitor narcoblogs and sometimes even post on them. As demonstrated by the September blogger killings in Nuevo Laredo, Los Zetas appear to possess at least some rudimentary capability to trace online activity to people in the physical world. They are known to employ their own team of dedicated cyber experts and to have sources within the Mexican government.
In addition to technical intelligence, the Zetas can use old-fashioned human intelligence to track down their online enemies.
[. . .]
Even if Anonymous cannot provide information that damages Los Zetas smuggling operations, the very fact that the collective has decided publicly to challenge Los Zetas will result in some sort of response.
[. . .]
Mexico has become one of the most dangerous countries in the world for journalists, and many media organizations practice heavy self-censorship to protect themselves.
[. . .] As a result, many Mexicans believe the mainstream media are not of any real assistance in the face of cartel violence.

Cambridge Discrimination Complaints Details

The question is: Who did not give her the amount of desired support? Was it her supervisor in Cambridge, or the US DOE? I do not know the details of this event which gave rise to the complaint and settlement. But after 32 years of seeing close up outrageous claims racism for any and all events which a Black person did not like, it creates suspicion about the validity of any claims without evidence. Feelings of unhappiness brought thousands if not millions of complaints of racism. How much more can we bear if every time someone, anyone has hurt feelings it becomes a federal case? Certain specific acts are prohibited by law. But every instance of discrimination is not unlawful, or actionable.

[From article]
"According to the complaint: in her first year, Wong was successful in creating an important grant proposal for a Center for Families pilot program funded by the Federal Department of Education. While the DOE considered the application to be outstanding and ranked it number one among the proposals it received, Wong found that she was not offered the same assistance offered to white employees.
When she asked her supervisor for more support she was denied help and told to “work harder.”

How Limited Is the FBI's Awareness?

Where has this FBI Agent-in-Charge been working for the past 50 years? In 1960 the son of a major bootlegger became President. His brother became US Attorney General. Hello? Was J. Edgar Hoover a part (or cause) of the problem, which allowed crime families to become legit? FDR apppointed this charming bootlegger to be Ambassador to the UK, head of the SEC, and the Maritime Commission. Who was FDR? Perhaps these agents limit their reading material to FBI reports. Do they still believe that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone shooter? Or is he covering for the fact of crime families taking over the FBI too?

[From article]
“The [mob’s] criminal activities have evolved from the back alleys to the boardrooms,” said Michael Ward, FBI agent-in-charge in Newark, said of the stunning scheme.

Harvard Ethicists Silent on FBI Corruption, Homicides

Lessig said, “campaign contributions need to be limited, and Congress should limit but not ban independent expenditures[.]” SCOTUS says campaign contributions are protected speech. How does Lessig know that "everyone agrees that money shouldn’t be in politics?” Is he making it up? Lessig says, "Politicians [and the media] profit from us hating each other.” Communists too. If unity is a noble goal why does Harvard promote affirmative action programs? Why are some groups of citizens prioritized over others, e,g, women, homosexuals, and Black Americans? Does demonizing "the rich" by the 99 percenters and HLS grad Barack Obama encourage unity? What is the role of Harvard's Kennedy School in coddling congressional corruption? Newly elected US Reps, are invited to the K School for orientation of the issues. Many attend. Is there any connection? Why are these ethicists silent about the wholesale criminal abuses of the Boston FBI? One agent is in prison convicted of homicide. Another died in prison awaiting trial for homicide. An FBI informant is on trial in Boston for 19 homicides. A frame-up of four white men for murder by the Boston FBI. Two died in prison, two were released after 30 years. US Judge awarded $101 million plus attorneys fees. How can corruption be eliminated if the FBI is killing citizens? Hello? Anybody home?

Extending Public Records Act to Campus Cops

The Crimson argues, "The case for HUPD transparency has never been founded on a suspicion that Harvard’s police force deserves particularly harsh scrutiny." Because of negligent training of HUPD campus cops, harsh scrutiny is desperately needed. Too often campus cops with loaded weapons are employed for personal and political interests of faculty and administrators. Those abuses are never scrutinized and are clear abuses of privileged state police power. University administrators are unable to regulate and monitor these campus police who often operate out of personal animosity abusing vulnerable citizens. Extending scrutiny through public records will not end all of the abuses, but it will help.

[Reply to comment]
Being trained by MCJTC does not mean they are trained properly. Cambridge City police are also negligently trained by MCJTC. Some of the MCJTC training modules are nonsensical and unlawful. In addition HUPD promotes the false notion that they have exclusive jurisdiction on Harvard property. They falsely believe along with administrators and faculty that the overpass in front of the Science Center is Harvard property. It is owned by the city of Cambridge. HUPD only has jurisdiction to enforce state laws on Harvard property. The Sheriffs of Middlesex and Suffolk extended the privilege of allowing HUPD to make traffic stops as they travel between Harvard and Boston campuses. They abuse that privilege. They stop traffic closing streets without authority. They are not empowered to enforce and they are not trained in knowing Cambridge and Boston City ordinances. Yet dispatchers arrogantly choose to send HUPD to local events when city ordinances are violated. The dispatchers abuse their power contrary to law, to divert calls to protect Harvard. As for HUPD abuses of power on behalf of faculty and staff you may be unaware of them but they are real and they are pervasive. It is a personal abuse contrary to state and US laws. Finally too many HUPD officers have a cavalier attitude toward security at Harvard buildings. They often leave the doors open for their colleagues so they do not have to wait for them. It is why two Harvard seniors lost their degrees after a homicide at a campus dorm. So much for proper training. They are campus cops and need monitoring when they abuse their power. It is human nature, according to Philip Zimbardo. That applies to HUPD which claims to consist of humans.

[Reply to second comment]
I am sorry to disagree with you. HUPD are special state police officers sworn by the state police commander; and deputies sheriff sworn by the sheriffs of Middlesex and Suffolk. They have power only on Harvard property, with the exception noted previously. If you believe as I do that HUPD officers are human, they are likely to abuse their power. It is the nature of police, according to the Mollen Commission in New York City. But also see Philip Zimbardo's experiments on abuses of power. Police need constant scrutiny because of their power over civilians. In Massachusetts police get no scrutiny. Too much space is needed to describe the abuses of HUPD powers I experienced. I am no longer surprised with the disbelief by civilians who were never targeted by police for personal or for political reasons. There are many books about abuses of police powers. Regarding the competence of HUPD with murder investigations, state police have experienced officers. That is not to say that they always do a proper job. There are many books about sloppy police work also. That often leads to wrongful arrests and wrongful convictions. Do you doubt that happens too? City and state police have jurisdiction on and off the Harvard campus. HUPD tries to create a belief that they have exclusive jurisdiction on Harvard property. They do not. Some Cambridge police officers defer to that false separate jurisdiction. It makes their job easier. The last time I read some of the MCJTC's training modules I learned how they are trained to respond to persons with disabilities. Here's what I found in 1997. If a person complained about the FBI and the CIA targeting them, police are trained to treat that as a symptom of schizophrenia. One problem is that the state empowers police officers to make medical diagnoses based on speech. Second problem is that for 20 years the delightful James Bulger, FBI informant, now on trial in Boston US Court, for 19 homicides was killing people who reported him to the FBI. Some of his victims knew he worked for the FBI. When they went to local or state police, under the MCJTC's training they would be treated as if they were mentally ill, and then ignored before they were killed by Bulger. Are you aware of the egregious abuses of that period? It was similar to how police treated the parents of victims of the Catholic Church priest abuse scandal. The police threatened the parents for reporting such crimes. They did not believe it. Then there was the FBI frame up of four white men for murder. Two of them died in prison and two were released after 30 years. Do you know about that? Compared with those abominations, abuses by HUPD are inconsequential.

[Reply to Comment]
We disagree. Holding police accountable for 40 years of abuses is beyond the capability of the court system, or online comments. John Durham found one FBI agent responsible for 20 years of FBI criminal abuse. Do you believe that? FBI agents from other offices avoided the Boston office. They were known to be corrupt, not just one agent. Consider that in perspective of the Harvard campuses with HUPD asserting exclusive jurisdiction. Do you think the FBI had any interaction with HUPD, or Harvard administrators, or faculty at the law school or the Kennedy School of Government? See recent essay on this news site by ethicists Lawrence Lessig, HLS professor, and the ubiquitous David Gergen of the KSG. They suggest that money is the corrupting influence of government and direct attention to the corrupt US Congress. They join their colleagues in and out of government ignoring a generation of FBI criminal abuses. Are they clever or what? Does HUPD work closely with Cambridge police and other departments or are they like Caesar's wife? You believe that those studies do not apply to HUPD. Is that because HUPD officers are not human? Have their genes, like the genes of US psychiatrists been cleansed of mendacity, greed and sadism? Your demands for evidence of specific HUPD abuses on a student newspaper web site is cute. Is the Crimson now accepting formal complaints about criminal abuse because the DA, the police and the US Attorney cannot be bothered? BTW one Assistant Middlesex DA a few years ago told me that they were so busy with homicides that they were unable to accept complaints about lesser crimes. How charming the way the DA's office works. I'm reminded of Mark Twain's aphorism: "It's not what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you think you know for sure that just ain't so."

[Reply to Comment]
A spokesman for the HUPD explained that Harvard campus officers are highly trained in the most gentle procedures, the latest laws of the Great and General Court of Massachusetts and the US Congress. HUPD employs the best and most expensive, and least invasive technology for preventative surveillance. HUPD officers obey all laws. HUPD officers do not abuse their power and have never abused their power. They are respectful at all times and never target any individuals for personal or political reasons, or as favors for faculty, administrators, graduates, politicians or other police brothers. HUPD maintains the highest standards of safety for the citizens of the Harvard community. Because Harvard employees and students are superior morally and intellectually, HUPD officers know that laws are optional for Harvard affiliates, on campus. Other police brothers are not always cooperative. Any complaints about wrongdoing by HUPD officers are fantasies of racist, mentally ill, disgruntled civilians who have no business on Harvard property, or on the Harvard Crimson web pages. The Harvard community and city officials are aware of the racist, mentally ill, drug addicted critic. We call him, "The Opposition." He is abusing his ability to speak and to write. The First Amendment was not meant for criticism of Harvard. Compassionate Harvard and city officials are trying to get him treatment for his delusions.

[Reply to Comment]
The forty years of police abuses I refer to were not all by the FBI, nor was it all in Massachusetts. But you would be surprised at how extensive the cooperation is between police departments, across political subdivisions, including the HUPD. As for my experiences with the HUPD I do not think truth will prevail online or in court. Courts too are staffed by humans. There is a specific clause in the US Constitution which denies to me rights and privileges extended to others. I haven't seen it but I know it is there. Middlesex County was dissolved due to pervasive corruption. It did not end the crimes of officials. The City of Cambridge was so corrupt in the 1940s that they changed the Charter to a Plan E form of government. It did not end crimes by city officials. The English have a term "rotten borough." It applies to Cambridge and Middlesex. What role does Harvard University play in the quality of government? Forty years ago Harvard had guards without weapons. Now they have an armed police force which I've seen abuse their power repeatedly over 20 years. Maybe it is because of that special Constitutional provision. HUPD does not operate in a vacuum. They operate within the structure of the state which grants them their power and within the department working with the Cambridge and state police and the FBI. So it is not practical to isolate the abuses of HUPD without being aware of the functioning governments which surround Harvard. How many campus cops are former city or state police?

Councilor Davis Hates Discrimination

Councilor Davis explains her concerns about discrimination. But she only mentions women and African Americans. Joining her colleagues on the City Council and especially the School Committee she omits people with disabilities. They are of interest only to the human services industry which provides goods and services to students with special needs and treatment without consent to those "poor unfortunates" (as Councilor Toomey calls), persons accused of mental illness.

She proudly mentions the report from the City Manager which promotes the notion of hiring quotas based on school population. 30 percent Black students? City must hire 30 percent Black employees. Huh? If the school was all white that would mean no Black employees. In one high school the population is 85 percent Hispanic. Does that mean 85 percent of the employees must be Hispanic? This is illogical thinking processes by elected officials. Are they products of the City schools which prohibit teaching critical thinking?

The new standards for hiring quotas is an example of Black greed, which knows no upper limit for demands and desires. Spineless officials submit to these irrational demands showing their lack of concern for equal opportunity to employment.

Spineless Submission to Racism Gone Wild

Here is a copy of a report submitted to the Cambridge City Council on October 31, 2011 by City Manager Robert Healy. Recently Healy was forced to accept a state court award for $8 million in damages for firing a black woman 12 years ago and settling for unknown amounts two other discrimination cases in the city. Alas Healy now joins an abuse of black officials in the city demanding 30 percent of all jobs in the school department. According to my sources the US census found Cambridge has about 12 percent black people for the last 20 years. Nonetheless someone created a new standard for how many black people should be hired. Keep in mind that no persons with disabilities are employed by the city schools and there is no attempt to address this institutionalized unlawful abuse. Black Americans are about the same percentage of the population nationally and in the city as persons with disabilities. But disabled persons remain unemployed at a 70 percent rate. It shows how thorough the bigotry is in the city of Cambridge which sees itself as morally superior to others. Do they get their misguided self image from Harvard affiliates?

Oct 31, 2011
To the Honorable, the City Council:

Please find [. . .] a response to Awaiting Report Item Number 11-124, regarding a report on the racial makeup of the City's workforce.

Below is a summary of the attached reports:
Total Employees 2,424
Total People of Color 788 (32.51%) more than double the US Census PMSA goal of 15%. (PMSA Preliminary Metropolitan Statistical Area defined by U.S. Census as our applicant recruiting area. This is taken from the U.S. Census EEO-4 data tool for affirmative action planning purposes. The next release of this tool is scheduled for fall of 2012.)
Women 1,056 (43.56%)

Below is additional information on new hires from July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011:
59% of all hires were people of color
46% of all hires were women
86% of all hires were Cambridge residents

Very truly yours,
Robert W. Healy, City Manager

The 2000 U. S. Census found that 12% of Cambridge residents were Black.

The 2010 U. S. Census found that 11.7% of Cambridge residents were Black.

[My comments about earlier report in Cambridge Chronicle, with story below.]
According to "the newly adopted requirement, the parity rate [for hiring people of color in Cambridge Public Schools] should be 30 percent." Are 30 percent of the population of Cambridge people of color? Who created the "newly adopted requirement?" What is the requirement for hiring persons with disabilities in the Cambridge Public Schools? Is it zero percent? Do the morally superior liberals who run the city believe that all persons with disabilities are morons? What is the problem with these allegedly fair minded people trying to equalize opportunities who refuse to allow persons with disabilities to participate in life in Cambridge? Could they be bigots, who support equal opportunities only for themselves but not for others?

[From article]
"Overall, Cambridge Public Schools employs 1,196 people throughout the district. Of those, 270 are people of color, making their racial parity rate 22.5 percent. According to the newly adopted requirement, the parity rate should be 30 percent."
