Harvard Students to Provide Facts to Protesters

Why the double standard? Who will "combat charges that [officials in local, state and US government] are uninformed about public policy issues?" US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi urged Congress to pass the Health Care Bill in order to find out what's in it. High powered DC lobbyist Jack Abramoff on 60 Minutes noted that the "Members" do not read legislation." Why impose a higher standard on unelected unpaid protesters than those who write the laws?

You think voters and taxpayers should interact directly "not mediated through a small number of pundits on a smaller number of 'mainstream' media." Are you suggesting that journalists are not keeping voters and taxpayers informed of facts? Are you implying that journalists may be working for the same economic and political interests as politicians and lobbysits? Are journalists as clueless as elected officials? Or are they publishing what their PR mentors are feeding them?
