Obama, Credentials and Lack of Common Sense
Obama is obsessed with credentials. His misadventures and incompetent appointees show how useless they are.
[From article]
"Meanwhile, the nation’s entrenched credential industry is beginning to face tough questions. More and more, these diploma shills, also known as universities, are being asked whether its certificates of specialness are worth, say, $200,000.
[. . .]
Today the universities are equipping armies of young people with useless degrees in Art History or Women’s Studies or Peace and disgorging them into the world with six-figure debt, no marketable skills and a soon-to-be dashed sense of entitlement. Moreover, you can’t wipe out student loans by declaring bankruptcy. Is it any wonder young grads are loafing around Zuccotti Park planning the revolution? They’ve got nothing better to do.
President Obama is doing his best to exacerbate the problem by proposing to wipe out college debt after 20 years (or 10 for those who do “public service”). Colleges would love that: They could keep raising tuition and leave taxpayers on the hook.
