Two Dead At Empire State Building Shooting in NYC

This article assures readers that the dead gunman had no history of psychiatric illness, as if that would explain why he shot his former boss to death, and then pointed his pistol at police. Under what system of logic or statistics do journalists make a casual connection between mental illness and violence? Politicians and journalists say the most outrageous things, clueless how nonsensical they are. Is it any wonder that civilians shoot each other when their heads are filled with propaganda from these two misguided groups of people who provide leadership and information?
