Norway Shooter Declared Insane.

The standard for being found not culpable due to insanity in Norway is not reported. Under US standards if he did not know right from wrong due to a mental illness he cannot be found guilty of the crime. In this case the issue of what is "right" and what is "wrong" is essential. He wore a police uniform because he knew he would be trusted? Isn't that evidence of knowing right from wrong? It does not matter if he is or was insane. This report if accurate indicates the laws in Norway are as misguided as in the US. The "experts" utter complete nonsense as they do in the US. Psychiatry there is as here, personal opinion masquerading as science.

[From article]
"Breivik admits carrying out the attacks but has pleaded not guilty to charges, arguing that that the attacks were atrocious but necessary for his campaign to defend Europe against a Muslim invasion.
[. . .]
On 22 July, Breivik disguised himself as a police officer to plant a car bomb that exploded close to government offices in the capital Oslo, killing eight people."
