Control Freaks Want More Control

The analogy with the Inquisition strictly applies to psychiatry. The mental health industry makes prisoners into patients, and criminals into mentally ill civilians. Merging the two categories allows the control freak industry to take any one's freedom and to force their chemicals on anyone. It is an aggressive proactive business model. The client base increases and profits skyrocket. These illnesses are created by consensus not science. They are all based on speech and behavior protected by the Constitution. Unprotected speech and behavior are crimes. No need for psychiatry at all except to bypass due process protections. This new fake illness allows for anyone to be taken into custody and forced to take chemicals. Only psychiatrists can see these illnesses and only psychiatrists can predict the future. For believers this is nothing special. For illnesses with no pathology it is laughable that drug companies persuaded politicians to pass laws making taxpayers fund such fantasy treatments.

Stalin had a system to prevent human speech and behavior he did not like. He shot them dead. This can stop any and all violence by civilians before it happens. Control freaks always get upset by constitutionally protected individual freedom. If you dislike freedom why not try another country with less than this one? Psychiatrists want to eliminate constitutionally protected speech and actions that psychiatrists do not like or do not understand. Psychiatry is a means of social control with no due process protections. It is personal opinion masquerading as science. If you are willing to give up freedom for security, read Ben Franklin on that subject.

Saying, "Since insurance companies often don't reimburse treatment for non-DSM disorders, inclusion is a common prerequisite for new drug development, large-scale clinical trials, and funding for ambitious research." reveals what psychiatry is all about -- making money and increasing the client base. Drug merchants hide the profit motive under the guise of healing, and preventing violence.
[. . .]
'psychosis risk syndrome' [. . .] experts say, it might be possible to delay or entirely avert the disease." Only psychiatrists can see mental illnesses which have no pathology. Mental illnesses are speech and behavior protected by the Constitution.
