Juvenile Justice Needs Improvement

As usual Hentoff makes a valid point about the horrible juvenile justice court system. But adults are not always treated well, especially those accused of mental illness. The courts need scrutiny. Compare how many journalists watch the politicians, with how many watch court proceedings. Many cases are adjudicated with no media scrutiny at all. One objection to your source as Tom Perez. In J. Christian Adams book, Injustice, he explains that Perez is a major proponent of NOT administering laws in a race neutral manner. Adams is the staff attorney in the Civil Rights Division who resigned when Holder refused to enforce a court judgement of intimidation of white voters by the New Black Panther Party. Perez's findings and figures need scrutiny based on his pattern of behavior.
