Journalists Continue to Disrespect Persons With Disabilities

Boston Herald continues to slander all persons with disabilities, by blaming a disability for crime. There is no causal connection between an allegation of mental illness and crime. It is unlikely that any crime is committed due to a mental illness. The figures are more than 99 percent against such an irrational claim. But facts never get in the way of sensationalizing a political act. This recurring nonsense in the Herald shows journalists are unable to separate their fear of crime and their fear of persons with disability. Shame. The act is a crime. What is the rational reason for blaming disability? What is the source of the medical records of the suspect? Why are medical records of persons with disabilities not protected by state and US privacy laws the same as the medical records of politicians and celebrities? Who sets these despicable standards, denying respect for person with disabilities? Journalists or the police?
