AP says the Southern Poverty Law Center is a "nonprofit civil rights organization." The NRA, The Heritage Foundation, and The Hoover Foundation are "nonprofit civil rights organization[s]" also. But the Southern Poverty Law Centre is an extreme left wing advocate against conservative organizations and voters. The SPLC publishes propaganda ridiculing and stirring up hatred toward conservative organizations and individuals. It is not an objective source of information. But what else is new among left wing journalists/propagandists? It is shameful that journalists with First Amendment protections continue to publish propaganda misleading citizens and creating more ignorance and more animosity among citizens of the nation. Just because it is legal to print propaganda in the US does not mean that the AP should do it. Same goes for the TV networks and the drive-by media outlets.

[From article]
Page, who joined the Army in 1992 and was discharged in 1998, was described by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a "frustrated neo-Nazi" who was active in the obscure underworld of white supremacist music. Mark Potok, a senior fellow at the nonprofit civil rights organization in Montgomery, Ala., said Page had been on the white-power music scene for more than a decade, playing in bands known as Definite Hate and End Apathy.
