Lawyer Undermines Rule of Law

What is truly amazing about this case is how the lawyer for the parents of the young man who was shot by police continues to make his case in the media. Journalists are notoriously ignorant of law. Is that why he prefers that forum to the courts? But the lawyers' questioning of evidence of the young man's blood alcohol content is hilarious. It is an argument I make about the beliefs promoted by journalists about the infallibility of DNA evidence. The same people who keep fingerprint evidence keep DNA evidence. If the police cannot be trusted with evidence why believe any other case with physical evidence? This lawyer is undermining the entire criminal justice apparatus.

[From article]
"Autopsy results included a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit for driving. Sussman has disputed that finding and said Thursday that the results may have been tampered with."
