The New Jersey police officer who was killed in last week’s deadly wrong-way crash in Staten Island was remembered at his funeral Thursday, which was packed with hundreds of cops from around the region.
Police Officer Frank Viggiano’s casket was carried into Linden Presbyterian Church while bagpipes played “Amazing Grace” and family and friends sobbed.

Viggiano and pal Joseph Rodriguez were killed last Friday when fellow cop Pedro Abad drove the wrong way on a Staten Island highway after a long night of partying.
Abad and his partner, Officer Patrik Kudlac, survived the wreck but are still in critical condition at Staten Island hospitals.
Abad had been previously charged twice with driving drunk — once in 2011 when he plowed through a Roselle, NJ, deli, and again in 2013 when he hit a row of parked cars in Rahway.
He had been in a total of eight accidents since 2005, according to state DMV records.
