Regarding Hate Speech by Off Duty Police Officer at a Baseball Game

[Letter sent to Mayor and City Councilors of Leominster MA]

Hello Mayor and Councilors,

Please take into consideration the propaganda that is published every day by Massachusetts media. It should not be used to make rational decisions for public employees. Mr. Perrault is accused of hate speech which was elevated to be a higher crime than homicide by limousine liberals who run Cambridge MA and Harvard University. Remember, it is speech, maybe hateful but it is protected speech by the US Constitution. The First Amendment was placed into law to protect speech that you hate. Everyone loves speech that they agree with. I do not think that Mr. Crawford was harmed by the word or words allegedly spoken by an off duty officer during a baseball game."Kill the Umpire" was the standard cry when an umpire made an unpopular call. Which is worse? Compare the number of stories on Boston news stations and in newspapers on this event, with the number of stories about the street assassinations of two men earlier this month (July 16, 2012) two blocks from Tufts University Medical Center in Boston. The priorities of the media is best described as misguided. Do not let their abominable standards guide your decision on this matter. Perhaps some public officials should spend more time reading the Constitution and laws of the Commonwealth, instead of the propaganda published every day by these alleged journalists. There is an oath of office which demands you support and defend the Constitution and laws. No oath for defending censoring hate speech. Thank you for your attention.
