City Police Have Jurisdiction Over All

Harvard's prestige and money dazzles small-minded journalists who promote popular misconceptions of law. Harvard campus cops (special state police officers and deputies sheriff) do not have exclusive jurisdiction on Harvard property. They have state police powers only on Harvard property. They do not have jurisdiction to enforce city ordinances. Cambridge and Boston police have jurisdiction on Harvard property. Harvard likes to keep all criminal matters under their control to prevent embarrassing events becoming public (see e.g., the poisoning of med students in August). Is research no longer fashionable among journalists?
