Psychiatric Industry Thrives Without Stimulus

Headline shows bias. These are humans with disabilities. They are not diseases. The important fact omitted is greedy psychiatrists and drug companies did not have their funding cut, only safe havens for persons with disabilities to hang. When will the corruption of the psychiatric industry be exposed? Greedy pols take campaign money to maintain funding for the human services corporations. Persons with disabilities with up to 85 percent unemployment do not have PACs or lobbyists. How long before MA police begin shooting mental patients? Oh they already started. They're using private security vigilantes.

My name is Janet Saugstad. I'm running for congress in 3rdMN district, as a write in candidate. One way of reducing medical costs is to get the graft and corruption out of the group home system for mentally ill and developmentally disabled. Social security pays a minimum of $35K per resident/yr. Staff salaries are paid separately by soc. sec. and other nonprofits via grants. The menu makes Army mess look like haute cuisine. The management company also gets about 85% of each residents soc. sec. check. If elected, I'll find out where all the money goes. Most of these buildings don't meet codes.

I'm also proposing that remaining stimulus monies be used to convert HUD sponsored high rises in my district first, to solar. The monies HUD saves by not paying the public utilities to heat and light these buildings, could then fund similar conversions in other states -- and get us out of middle east politics.
