Scientist Held for Evaluation

[From article]
"More recently, Morse had become increasingly paranoid, telling The New Mexican that federal agents had him under surveillance and that security officers were holding his wife.
In 2008, Morse filed a complaint against Los Alamos County and the Los Alamos Police Department.
"Plaintiff (referring to himself) is concerned about leaving his house, possessions and pets unattended for long intervals as vandalism has occurred and one cat was severely brutalized on two separate incidents around the time of Plaintiff's arrest and beating in November 2006. Much more recently, while dining with friends, two of his cats were poisoned; one of them died. He is concerned that the local police, who are defendants in this case, will not protect his property adequately during his scheduled absence for hearings,

Emotions Transformed Into Illnesses

Propaganda from the psychiatric industry shows increased mental illness among college students. With continued dumbing down of the population, and less humans being aware of their emotions, the drug industry medicalizes human emotions. Thus there are more people experiencing emotions who think that is an illness. This for profit deception, making money in the name of healing, is not unusual in the USA. But this one causes humans to ingest harmful chemicals in order to heal fake illnesses. The mental health industry will lead the future society as portrayed in the film Idiocracy.

Superficial Discrimination Rates

The disability category is not included in all scoring. States and cities exclude disability based discrimination from their focus. The MA state discrimination agency MCAD refuses to hear complaints based on disability. US EEOC has few disability complaints heard, as well as the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice. Elders are discouraged from enjoying legal protections. Scrutiny of the discrimination cartel shows that three large wealthy and politically connected groups dominate the field: Black Americans, homosexuals and women. Many taxpayer funded agencies are staffed by these three groups. In one case the US Department of HUD Fair Housing Agency in Boston did not know the legal definition of disability in 2003. The IG and Secretary of HUD did not respond to complaints. So this report is very superficial and does not address problems with the denial of access to government services, and public accommodations. As Mark Twain said, "There are lies, damn lies, and then there are statistics.

Irrational Editorial Laments Irrational Speech

This editorial shows bias, intolerance, arrogance, and especially exploitation of persons with disabilities. This propaganda piece says, "one need not be a practicing psychiatrist to see that the 22 year old is a disturbed individual." Is the Phoenix saying anyone can make psychiatric diagnoses? Journalists quote police, FBI agents, relatives, classmates and anyone who can speak. How reliable are these diagnoses of made up illnesses? For what real illness are privacy rights ignored as with persons accused of mental illness?

No industry exploits tragedy as venomously as the psychiatric industry and drug companies. In this incident, employing the Rahm Emanuel Doctrine, "Let no crisis go to waste," it was first the left wing hate monger censors accusing right wing political speech for the Arizona tragedy. Then came the mental health cartel. In third place is the anti gun lobbyists.

Phoenix says, "Gun worship [. . .] so deranged the national personality [that much] of the country have lost touch with reality." Is this a new mental illness? Gun worship causes delusions? What about pillow worship? How many more will die from unlawful use of dangerous pillows, which can be obtained with no waiting period?

Phoenix blames Arizona gun worshippers, for "a slide into a more rude and more crude form of civil society." Huh? Harvard Law Professors codified Affirmative Action which punishes people for doing no wrong; and rewards others for suffering no harm. How does that enrich civil society?

US Attorney General calls white people cowards. The President refers to "typical white persons." Unelected billionaire George Soros purchases public policy. If "intolerance and suspicion [are] growth industries] in [Arizona]," what are the race mongers in New York and Massachusetts? Criticism of politicians results in accusations of racism. How is that conducive to civil speech and participation?

More propaganda, the Phoenix says, "Reason suggests that Loughner is sick." If being irrational is a disease politicians and journalists need treatment. Who makes these statements up? They make no sense. Who decided whether being irrational is a requirement of speech; and that it is dangerous? The Phoenix tolerates only conformity. Stepping outside of leftist dogma published in the Phoenix is mental illness?

Taxpayer Funds Don't Protect Older Vulnerable Citizens

Americans place little to no value on older people. Children throw parents away into warehouses called nursing homes. Shame on the politicians who take contributions from the nursing home lobbyists and the human services lobbyists who exploit vulnerable older persons to make money. How many billions of taxpayer funds go to the human services industrial complex each year in NY? Protect people instead of enriching the caring professions.

Lowry's Propaganda For Drug Companies

[Edited version of this letter was published in the New York Post on Wednesday, January 19, 2011, page 32.
Online third letter at this location]
http://www.nypost.com/p/news/opinion/letters/sick_fight_over_mental_illness_xt3005uNkxCe8R16VgjVgO

Rich Lowry writes propaganda for the drug companies abandoning his regular skepticism regarding political speech and actions. He argues that a mysterious madness lobby, is preventing the psychiatric industry and the drug industry from passing more laws for forced treatment. Do these industries hide their profit motive under claims of healing?

He blames abuse victims for their own abuse. People who are demonized by ordinary citizens, politicians, lawyers, journalists, and especially psychiatrists; a group of people with no political clout or power, who are scorned and feared by society for stopping progress and making society dangerous. Lawyers funded to protect persons accused of mental illness lobby for more funding for more treatment. Few of them protect the rights, integrity and freedom of persons accused of mental illness.

Why does Lowry deny Constitutional Rights to persons accused of mental illness? Laws regarding forced treatment already exist which violate Due Process Rights for others. Why do psychiatrists get special exemptions?

Whenever there is a heinous crime the medical records of the accused are plastered across the media landscape. Why are privacy laws ignored for persons accused of mental illness? Even without records journalists make it up as Lowry did saying, "Someone displaying all the symptoms of untreated schizophrenia." Psychiatry makes symptoms, speech and behavior which they do not like or do not understand, into disease. Much of that speech and behavior is protected by the Constitution.

He cites E. Fuller Torrey the financier of forced drug treatment, who recently gave $100 million to a university to study a hoped for connection between genes and mental illness. Since mental illnesses are created by consensus it is highly unlikely. Nonetheless the research industry will thrive.

Journalists repeat FBI profiles broadcast about Loughner, "he is delusional" and "irrational." Yet he was able to obtain an efficient weapon with extra ammunition, go to the proper location and at the proper time, and complete his planned dastardly deed. How is that delusional? These negative personal attacks serve to arouse an angry mob. But what evidence does the profiler have, who never met the accused shooter?

Lowry errs saying Szasz compares psychiatry to slavery. Szasz uses the analogy with The Inquisition which applies strictly.

Lowry cites a woman who "lived with constant delusions of people persecuting her." Was her name Hillary Clinton, who discovered the vast right wing conspiracy? The same woman who imagined machine gun attacks on the tarmac?

Mental illness does not have an influential lobby devoted to not treating it. It has a group of people who demand informed consent before treatment. Why is that quaint notion denied to persons accused of mental illness? Psychiatric diagnoses are the only ones requiring police power for forced treatment. Why no forced treatment for rashes and broken legs?

CAIR Won't Cooperate With The FBI

FBI employs informants who will say or do anything for money or to stay out of prison. The allegations of CAIR are not unusual. This report shows that CAIR is better informed about American history than most Americans. There is substantial history to show that the FBI especially the Boston office abuses its power and works closely with organized crime figures acquiescing in serious criminal acts. The sad part is that citizens and corrupt politicians share the relaxed rectitude of the FBI. There is no will to investigate and to curb FBI abuses.

NAMI Propaganda Exploiting Arizona Tragedy

No business interests exploit tragedy as thoroughly and as shamelessly as the psychiatric industry and the drug companies. Quoting NAMI shows how biased this report is. 55 percent of NAMI's budget is from drug companies to promote drug treatment. Mental illnesses are created by consensus not science. Psychiatry defines illness as speech and behavior which psychiatrists do not like or do not understand. Most of the speech and behavior so defined is protected by the US Constitution. In the name of preventing violence psychiatry and this woman obsessed with the brain wants to criminalize if not medicalize legal speech and behavior. Concerned about irrational thought processes? Examine politicians. There's a group that needs supervision. NAMI promotes violating state and US privacy laws in order to reveal medical records to the media. TSA wants citizens to report suspicious packages and behavior. TSA arrested a teacher for having a suspicious bagel and keys in a bag. Reporting non conformist behavior and speech protected by the US Constitution, will lead to even more abuses. Think the film Idiocracy, with NAMI in charge. NAMI and the New York Times promote psychiatry as a way to control non conformists. Psychiatry as reported here demands unchanging conformity, else one is dangerous and needs treatment. Mother dead? Hit by a car? You are mentally ill if you are not as happy as before. This PR flack for NAMI says it is terrifying to deny one is mentally ill. For what real illness do police enforce diagnoses, and force treatment? Even if the professional caring community actually prevented violence they create more than they prevent. The greatest fear of the drug industry and their salesmen psychiatrists is that citizens will learn that dangerous chemicals can cause violence in humans. Expressing their personal opinions in the name of good with support from misguided journalists (many of whom love psychiatric chemicals), they are able to fool citizens. How often do lamestream media outlets quote critics of psychiatry? It is all one-sided reporting. It is not necessary to fool politicians; NAMI only needs to give them campaign contributions to write more laws wasting taxpayer funds for psychiatry and chemicals.

The attempt to blame right-wing talk shows for the Arizona tragedy has been discredited. But the attempt to blame mental illness continues. Here journalists publish a nonsensical statement from a cousin of the accused shooter making psychiatric diagnoses. What evidence is there for a family sharing a made up illness? Journalists Don't Question Psychiatrists

Peyser quotes Brooklyn psychiatrist Hilfer referring to "This man's deepening and worsening mental illness," without offering any proof. Did this psychiatrist ever meet with the accused shooter? Did he get access to the defendant's medical records in violation of state and US laws? All too often psychiatrists are ignorant of laws. Some know the laws but ignore them due to disrespectful attitudes toward their patients. Journalists are all too eager to publish whatever psychiatrists say with no skepticism or criticism from others.

[From article]
"Dr. Alan Hilfer, chief psychiatrist at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. "This man's deepening and worsening mental illness, combined with easy access to guns, combined with distorted thinking" did the trick."

Goodwin refers to "Loughner's documented mental disorder," with no evidence. Is he citing Sheriff Dupnik's statements? While lamenting hyperbole of the Secretary of State he does what he criticizes her for doing.

[From article]

No Common Sense Enforcing Laws

Here's an example of politicians writing laws because humans have little common sense in this country. It is a good idea to scrutinize deaths in or out of hospitals. Similar laws could be useful in MA where medical researchers are allowed to declare the cause of deaths and do their own investigations of deaths during experiments. They usually blame a "pre-existing condition," excusing themselves from any culpability. Police, District Attorneys and the Medical Examiner do not investigate research deaths. But the laws in MA that require reporting deaths to the DA or the Medical Examiner are not always complied with. This allows the researchers to get away with murder which at best can be classified as negligent homicide.

Does Technology Decrease Quality of Life?

This student essay recognizes effects of technology on young lives. But they are part of a larger problem i.e., the lack of common sense, historical perspective and rectitude among the current population. David Callahan's book The Cheating Culture, describes how students cheat often under pressure from parents and peers. But there are other kinds of learning besides book learning and information. Being able to use technology is one kind of learning that improves lives. Technology is amoral. It can and always has been used for good and evil. Scientists believe that technology can solve all human problems. But technology as this essay observes creates problems. John Tudor said, "Technology makes it possible for people to gain control over everything, except over technology." This is one aspect of life that needs constant scrutiny along with government. Will citizens rise to the challenge?

[From article]
"The increased use of personal communication technology in today's culture is not improving people’s lives.
[. . .]
With more use of technology there is a decrease in peoples' quality of life. Learning is being affected in a harmful way because it is easier to cheat. Technology is also harmfully affecting the safety of teens who are driving and talking on the cell phones, which causes them to crash. The overuse of technology is harming many teenagers' relationships with their parents. The best way to help teens in learning, safety, and relationships is to decrease their use of technology."

Saving the Airlines...

Saving the Airlines...

Dump the male flight attendants. No one wanted them in the first place.

Replace all the female flight attendants with good-looking strippers! What the hell -- they don't even serve food anymore, so what's the loss?

The strippers would at least triple the alcohol sales and get a 'party atmosphere' going in the cabin. And, of course, every businessman in this country would start flying again, hoping to see naked women.

Because of the tips, female flight attendants wouldn't need a salary, thus saving even more money. I suspect tips would be so good that we could charge the women for working the plane and have them kick back 20% of the tips, including lap dances and 'special services.'

Muslims would be afraid to get on the planes for fear of seeing naked women. Hijackings would come to a screeching halt, and the airline industry would see record revenues.

This is definitely a win-win situation if we handle it right -- a golden opportunity to turn a liability into an asset.

Why didn't Bush or Obama think of this? Why do I still have to do everything myself?

Sincerely,
Bill Clinton

Today We Learn What A Metaphor Is

Only problem with Eagan's argument is that all Jews do not agree with this Irish woman's misguided hyperbole. (Spending way too much time with chief Moonbat Braude who speaks for all people all the time?) Alan Dershowitz, Harvard Law School Professor (hint, he teaches where the Obama One got his law degree), a staunch defender of Jews and Israel disagrees and notes that using the term "blood libel" metaphorically is pervasive and correct. Ann Coulter makes the same observation. Why don't liberals understand using words metaphorically? Didn't they teach metaphors at Stanford?

Propaganda for Drug Cos., Anti Gun Nuts, Politicians

The lead suggests bigotry by this reporter, who would never imply the Glock was the weapon of choice of black Americans. With no evidence this alleged journalist expresses his negative bias toward persons he believes to be mentally disturbed. But the disturbed individual was rational enough to get the most efficient weapon with extra ammo and go to a public meeting and get into position to do his dastardly deed. It is like the confused thinking of liberals who made George Bush into an Evil Genius and the Village Idiot at the same time. It is logically impossible. The Rahm Emanuel doctrine is in action, "Never let a crisis go to waste." First political zealots attribute the shooting to right wing hate speech. But the shooter was a liberal druggie. Then the mental health lobby and the drug industry PR machine exploited the event promoting more taxpayer funded treatment for made up illnesses with no pathology. Finally we have the anti gun nuts who as herein report that the gun company owner was attacked with a wooden mallet. Horrors. When will mallets be banned? This is trash which should have a label as propaganda or advertisement shamelessly misleading readers.

[Responding to a comment posted replying to above]
Your personal attacks and paranoia are showing. Republicans and heterosexuals are banned in the Utopia called Massachusetts where everything is loving, tasty, aromatic, beautiful, free for illegal aliens, and approved by Harvard psychiatrists. My, my. Such misspelled profanity shows your enormous vocabulary. Where did you study? At Harvard? Television? What is that poor misguided soul -- where you get your in depth information?

[Responding to a comment posted replying to above]
Psychiatry is a business partnered with the drug industry, promoting fake illnesses. Read Boston University's Margaret Hagan's Whores of The Court. Your belief in them does not make them real. Why only promote two special interests using the Rahm Emanuel Doctrine -- exploiting tragedy for only the anti gun lobby and the mental health lobby? Don't you accept the nonsense that Loughner was a right wing useful idiot? Totalitarians oppose guns for citizens, and support the mental health lobby. No due process protections for psychiatric druggings or incarcerations. People need guns to protect themselves from oppressive government. It was and is Communists, Nazis, and American control freaks, often called psychiatrists, who love psychiatric chemicals and use(d) them as a first line of defense against government critics and free thinkers. You want to take psychiatric drugs go ahead but beware becoming violent from the chemicals pushed by the legal drug merchants. You make great arguments for giving up your freedom to government bureaucrats and politicians. As for 5-year-olds making threats what are the odds he had no father? Think in terms of two-parent families instead of drugging people for profit into submission. Parental love and guidance may not be what your business model prefers, but it always works better than government forced drugs to enhance human potential. Granted drug companies spend much more money on PR than does the two parent family lobby. Oh wait, there is no two-parent family lobby. Guess who wins the propaganda wars? You are a true believer in PR.

Dershowitz Defends Palin

In this report Harvard Law School Professor Alan Dershowitz defends Sarah Palin's metaphorical use of the term "blood libel." Glad some prominent defender of Israel stands up for her. But he adds to his comment the phrase "a mentally disturbed individual," apparently referring to Jared Loughner, the accused shooter of US Rep. Giffords in Arizona. Two questions arise. How does he know that? Is he making a psychiatric diagnosis? How reliable is that? Secondly if he has knowledge of Loughner's medical records how did he see them? Revealing medical records without consent is a violation of state and US privacy laws. Why are those laws only only enforced for non psychiatric patients? Why do journalists plaster across the media landscape psychiatric records (or anecdotal reports of psychiatric illness) while others are protected? At least if psychiatry was a legitimate medical specialty. But their illnesses are created by consensus. They testify in court giving their personal opinion masquerading as science. They predict the future! Here is one more example that the highest levels of prestigious American academics believe that there is substance to psychiatry other than the billions of taxpayer dollars wasted each year.

[from article]
"The term 'blood libel' has taken on a broad metaphorical meaning in public discourse," he said in a statement to biggovernment.com. "I myself have used it to describe false accusations against the State of Israel by the Goldstone Report. There is nothing improper and certainly nothing anti-Semitic in Sarah Palin using the term to characterize what she reasonably believes are false accusations that her words or images may have caused a mentally disturbed individual to kill and maim."

"Sarah Palin, for example, had a chart of congressional districts being targeted by Republicans. So did the Democratic Leadership Committee. Indeed, Democratic consultant Bob Beckel went on Fox News and said he invented the bull's-eye maps.
Similarly, every time liberals produce an example of military lingo from a Republican -- "we're going to target this district" -- Republicans produce five more from the Democrats.

Blaming and Exploiting Psychiatric Illness For Violence

Dr. Berry sounds reasonable in so far as she recognizes that psychiatric chemicals are not the panacea as promoted by the drug industry and their acolytes. She asks, "why did such an unstable young man slip through the cracks?" regarding Jared Boughner, the Arizona shooter of US Rep. Giffords. This presumes there is a stability standard to which his behavior is measured. Who sets the standards for acceptable behavior, psychiatrists, psychologists? I thought legislatures elected by the voters set what behavior and what speech is protected by the Constitution? Here is one more of the morally superior class of unelected, self appointed, psychologists declaring what is permitted what is not permitted speech and behavior. Encouraging civilians to report crime inspired outrageous behavior by police. TSA arrested a man with a bagel last week after a person felt threatened by the keys in the bag with the bagel.

http://www.nbcmiami.com/news/local-beat/Florida-Professor-Arrested-for-Having-aSuspicious-Bagel-on-a-Plane-112825029.html

Berry wants civilians to report strange behavior. Huh?
Psychologist Berry quotes liberal Democratic Sheriff Dupnik who blames right-wing talk for the violence, as the source of a psychiatric diagnosis. Is this a reliable source?

Dr. Berry says, "we need to determine how we can better identify young people and adolescents who may be at risk for psychological problems and violent behaviors." She promotes surveillance and extra legal interference with protected speech and behavior. Psychiatry and psychology breed conformity. Psychiatry and psychology are intolerant of deviant behavior which is otherwise legal. Psychiatry and psychology are personal opinion masquerading as science. Psychiatry and psychology criminalize or at best medicalize protected speech and behavior. If there is a need to curb sources of violence one must look at the psychiatric chemicals forced on unsuspecting civilians by the police power of the state acting under direction of unelected psychiatric and psychological control freaks.

Berry says she does not know "whether treatment could have prevented his actions." All too often treatment causes violence if not to the patient to others due to psychiatric chemicals.

Here's one more example of the Rahm Emanuel doctrine. Don't let a crisis go to waste. Political zealots exploit the tragedy for political purposes. Right behind them the drug industry and the psychiatric industry PR flacks promote more treatment and more waste of taxpayer funds to curb freedom in the name of good.

Good Issue Bad Premise

This letter raises a worthy issue but undermines the argument with a false assumption. Pervasive misappropriation of taxpayer funds for foreign travel is a major waste of taxpayer money. Cambridge Councilors visit sister cities mostly in the temperate zone during winter months. It is nice to be a councilor. But the letter says that Israel is a "an occupier state, which continues to violate the protocols of international law and the Geneva Accords." That false premise is used by terror organizations to demand the demise of Israel and Israelis. One question not raised is why the 57 Muslim states do not provide land and comfort to the Palestinian people. Yassir Arafat took billions in US taxpayer money and hid it in banks. He did not help improve the lives of his people. Why blame Israel?

Harvard as Arsonist and Fire Chief

Critics of J. Edgar Hoover revealed that he was the Arsonist and the Fire Chief. He would create a problem and wait for the victim(s) to petition the FBI to solve it. The FBI still uses this pattern today. Has Harvard University adopted the pattern? US Rep. Gifford while making herself accessible to constituents unlike the imperial MA politicians, was seriously wounded by one of them. Living 2700 miles from Harvard maybe she was unaware of the many programs promoted by Harvard. Affirmative Action a product of geniuses at Harvard Law School, was one divisive program made into law. Promoting one group over another is an institution within the institution. Black Americans, homosexuals, women, illegal aliens and Muslims get preferential treatment at Harvard. All of this adds to alienation by other groups and creates group against group rivalry. Punishing people for things they did not do and rewarding others for things they did not suffer does not make for respect and admiration. If US Rep. Giffords was aware of these anomalies she might not have sought help from Harvard to tone down the rhetoric. Harvard is the source of much of the animosity that poisons public discourse.

Advertisement Passes for Editorial

This propaganda belongs on the business pages with notation "Advertisement" promoting psychiatric drugs. It begins with fantasy and builds on irrational discourse. Saying "Now that someone with mental illness has shot one of Washington's own," is untrue twice. There is no evidence except in the minds of hateful people that Jared Loughner is mentally ill. If Jaffee has evidence how did he get it? In violation of any state and US privacy laws? Or is the liberal Sheriff who blames conservatives his source? Jaffee shows his bias declaring US Rep. Giffords as being of Washington. She is from Arizona and represents voters not the DC cesspool.

Jaffee says "most mentally-ill people are not violent -- and Congress seems content with ignoring those who are." Another lie. State laws control violent acts with exceptions where US laws share jurisdiction. State laws address violence well with Due Process protections. They are called crimes. Jaffee wants to use psychiatry which has no due process protections when taking liberty and punishing civilians which he calls treatment.

He cites prominent cases where the defendants had a history of abuses by psychiatrists. Ted Kaczynski was used for psychiatric experiments at Harvard. Others were taking psychiatric chemicals which are known causes (even by the drug company controlled FDA) of violent thoughts and actions. Jaffee prefers more drug induced violence under law.

Jaffee is confused about homeless people who are often required to take psychiatric chemicals in order to get housing contrary to law. He fails to recognize that being homeless causes people to be irrational. His priority is taxpayer funded drugging of homeless people instead of providing homes. Good business plan.

He objects to counseling people to stop taking psychiatric chemicals -- a known cause of violence. He promotes perpetual taking of psychiatric chemicals. Great business plan to be implemented under force of government police power. How thoughtful.

His biggest lie is saying, "the disease is in the brain." That is a fantasy promoted by drug company PR flacks. Psychiatry defines illnesses (made up by consensus) as behavior and speech symptoms. They have not shown any connection between the behavior and any brain abnormality.

His conclusion that "If there is any sanity needed, it's in how Washington addresses mental illness." is the only statement that makes sense. Congress must end the largest boondoggle in history by ending all taxpayer funded psychiatric treatment; stop criminal psychiatric abuses; and stop wasting taxpayer funds.

Eagan Fractures Facts For Fantasy

Extreme leftist writer and self-proclaimed media critic on PBS Fridays can't even get the facts straight when creating a right-wing monster to fit her fantasy world. She believes that allegations of brain washing come from the right. If she had any knowledge (no time for Google?) of people she defines as mentally ill she would know that they are liberals who blame the CIA. Boston University's liberal Chaplain lamented mind control along with a former liberal editor of the Cambridge Chronicle. Cambridge Politicians Cater to Special Interests

Americans have no memory. Same sex marriage was promoted because same sex partners were unable to visit their partners when one was in the hospital. Then it was about love. Now it is about taxes just like everyone else--money rules. Homosexuals claim they want to be treated equally to others. Here is one of many instances where spineless politicians cater to the homosexual lobby which runs the state of Massachusetts. City Council in Cambridge spent taxpayer money voting and passing a resolution petitioning Congress regarding paying US taxes. Other humans would need to petition the US Congress. But homosexuals were never ordinary, not in their sexual practices not in their enjoyment of citizenship. They always demand special privileges and they get them due to weak officials with relaxed rectitude. Clearly Cambridge politicians did not get the message sent by voters in other jurisdictions. People do not want business as usual. But that is what they get in Cambridge -- more catering to special interests.

Judge's Computer Hacked, Man Jailed

This article does not explain what expertise the man who hacked the judge's account had. Nonetheless it is curious when ordinary citizens complain about computer tampering, police react as if the ordinary citizen is mentally ill. The usual question is "Why would he do that?" Only persons with no ability to defend against criminal abuses are asked questions like that. Police appear to be clueless that the preferred target for criminal abuse are people who cannot defend themselves.

Too bad this alleged conservative writer focuses on Sarah Palin's outdoors life style as the source of vitriol. Liberals cannot see or hear when Chris Matthews, Joy Behar, Whoopee Goldberg, Barry Obama, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Eric Holder, and others use animosity toward civilians as facts. Police call suspects "dirt bags" every day and there is no concern from these alleged compassionate liberal journalists. Police and journalists refer to persons with disabilities as "nut jobs," "whackos," "tin foil hat wearers," "space cadets." These are both liberals and conservatives. It is not a political issue as much as the Obama criminals try to make it so. Now we're expected to withhold criticism of criminal behavior by politicians while they rob, steal and lie to taxpayers and voters. Government Smears Alleged Arizona Shooter

Is this a professional opinion [reader commented the alleged shooter was schizophrenic] or an amatuer one? Who needs psychiatrists when police, neighbors, lovers and readers of the Beast can make diagnoses? This shows how arbitrary psychiatry is. Anyone can attribute the illness because there is no such thing. Psychiatric illnesses are created by consensus not science. They usually consist of labeling Constitutionally protected speech and behavior which psychiatrists do not like or do not understand an illness. Biggest boondoggle in history.

ACLU promoted "Dissent is Patriotic" buttons during Bush Presidency. Is dissent only patriotic when a Republican is President? Some comments sound like dialogue from film "Idiocracy." Cultural Propaganda War Against US, Israel

we are dealing with a pathology — to which we nevertheless respond as if it were rational behaviour.

in this Orwellian universe the enslavement of Muslim women is said to represent their liberation; democracy is a means of enslavement from which the West must be freed; and the murder of Israelis is the purest form of justice.

It cannot be stressed enough that the reason why those promoting genocidal bigotry are winning is that the western world has not sought to defeat them but instead has appeased them from the very start.

What Israel has failed to recognize is that the battleground on which it is being forced to fight is not just military. It is also a battleground of the mind, and the strategy being used against it and to which it needs to respond in kind — is psychological warfare.

As for western Israel-bashers, [. . .] They should ridicule them, humiliate them, destroy their reputations; boycott them, not invite them to social gatherings, show them disapproval and contempt. Treat them as pariahs. Turn their own weapons against them."

Now that Janet Incompetano has citizens watching citizens this is the logical end of misguided TSA policies. Obama does a great job appointing bozos to office who make him look good.

Summers Returns to Harvard and Cambridge

Letter from Ian McKinnon, Playwright, Cambridge MA.

Are you ready for the world’s smartest man to return to Cambridge? The former president of Harvard, Larry Summers, is coming back to the world’s greatest campus after having saved the world from that unfortunate economic crisis of a few years back. Yes, it’s finally time! Despite his hard work for President Obama, Mr. Summers managed to find time to star in the blockbuster movie 'Inside Job.' He also rocked ‘The Social Network’ with a brief cameo that blew Justin Timberlake and Jesse Eisenberg off the screen! He’s coming back to teach at Harvard’s Kennedy School, where he’ll also head a new institute for Business and Government. Wait-- Business and Government? Why haven’t we thought of that before? Probably because we’re a bit slower than he is.

Remember when, as Clinton’s Secretary of the Treasury, he hammered that crazy woman who thought we should try to regulate derivatives? He got his friends in Congress to get her fired—that’s how crazy she was. Later, she tried to blame the ’08 economic collapse on those unregulated derivatives! She still doesn’t get it: this is a free market society--not some socialist eden!

Let’s help his new institute catch fire and lead us into a new, prosperous American century for all! Start making inspiring stencils of Larry’s famous sayings and put them all over Harvard Square! You know, like the one about women being not that good at science. OK, maybe he was a little off—who can deny they’re good at the science of cooking? However, by bravely calling things as he sees them, he started a conversation that continues to this day.

When you find out about an event that his new institute is putting on, make your own posters to enhance the special evenings that are sure to come. Proposed for the spring is a special naming ceremony for that hole in Allston where a new campus should’ve been. It’s a shame about Harvard’s endowment going bust, but Larry’s investment strategies had nothing to do with it. Surely, our government will help Harvard-in-Allston out next time around—nothing puts life into a city block like a life sciences center!

Remember how much the undergrads of Harvard loved Larry, while the teachers were convinced he was a jerk? Also being proposed for Larry’s homecoming is a new musical, written from the point of view of a Harvard sophmore during the Clinton/Bush era. Sample lyric:
“He served me ice cream in the yard, I want to join his palace guard.
I’m into banking—I’ll work hard. Maybe I can be his bard!”

If you want to join our homecoming committee, respond to this email.
We’ve got to ‘think Larry’ to thank Larry! Now put your thinking caps on!

Only Black People Can Say the N-word?

[From article]
"A federal jury will be asked to decide whether it is acceptable for an African American person, but not a white person, to use the "n" word in a workplace.

U.S. District Judge R. Barclay Surrick has ruled that former Fox29 reporter-anchor Tom Burlington's lawsuit against the station, claiming a double standard and alleging that he was the victim of racial discrimination, may go to trial. However, Surrick denied Burlington's claim of a hostile work environment."

Sloppy Obama Administration

"Obama's personal style -- emotionally buttoned up and physically fit -- is utterly at odds with his sloppy governance. Congress passed bills without knowing what was in them, and took the recession as warrant to spend with no serious regard to merit or consequences."

Commons Sense Needed Not More Laws

For more than 175 years MA politicians wrote laws that are enforced by their appointees who are corrupt and incompetent. It is not a lack of laws that is the problem. It is the writers of the laws who fail to see that decent humans with common sense are put in place to enforce them. There are enough laws. There are not enough competent officials. Business as usual on Beacon Hill and in DC.

Psychiatric Dissonance, Cluelessness

It is curious that this psychiatrist laments "the power of the corporate world at work against the rights of citizens, not to mention the 'rights' of birds and animals." But he remains silent regarding abuses of rights of individuals in the name of drug industry profits and punishing constitutionally protected speech and behavior by his psychiatric colleagues. Is this called cognitive dissonance? Or is it just being clueless about harm one does in the name of good? Psychiatry, largest boondoggle in history, is an endless source of humor.

Information Essential to Freedom

[From article]
as late as 2005, Thomas Friedman, the cheerleader-in-chief of liberation technology, wrote that “totalitarian systems depend on a monopoly of information and force, and too much information started to slip through the Iron Curtain, thanks to the spread of fax machines, telephones, and other modern tools of communication.”

Isolation of Elected Executives

This pattern is not limited to Michael Bloomberg.

[From article]
"It's that he surrounds himself with yes men and women. They don't dare bring him bad news. They know he doesn't want to hear it.

Emotionally and mentally, he has checked out. The job is beneath him now."

WHY A HANDGUN IS BETTER THAN A WOMAN:

13 REASONS WHY A HANDGUN IS BETTER THAN A WOMAN:

1) You can buy a silencer for a handgun.

2) You can trade a .44 for two .22's.

3) You can have a handgun at home and another for the road.

4) If you admire a friend's handgun and tell him so, he will be impressed and
let you try a few rounds with it.

5) Your primary handgun doesn't mind if you have a backup.

6) Your handgun will stay with you even if you are out of ammo.

7) A handgun doesn't take up a lot of closet space.

8) Handguns function normally every day of the month.

9) A handgun won't ask, "Do these grips make me look fat?"

10) A handgun does not mind if you go to sleep after you're done using it.

11) You can have more than one handgun living in the same house without having
problems.

12) A handgun doesn't care how big your trigger finger is.

13) A handgun won't tell all of its friends if you are a "little fast on the
trigger"

Improper Comparison, Palin is Like Truman

David McCullough, in his biography of Harry Truman, "Truman" says on page 217, "Harry cared little more for other [than Huey Long] celebrated 'speechifiers' in the Senate. Admittedly fearful of making a speech himself, he seemed to resent particularly those who could and who made their reputations that way. They were the 'egotistical boys' whose specialty was talk." Obama admitted that he can make a speech but that he was incapable of doing anything in the Senate. Obama worships credentials. He would never appoint a man like Truman to any post. Truman, a decent man who loved America, had an extraordinary amount of common sense. Those are two characteristics Obama lacks. It is curious that McCullough sees any comparison at all. If anyone is like Truman, it is Sarah Palin.

More Misguided Police Priorities

Here's another delightful citizen who travels from state to state committing violent crimes. No one was watching this gentlemen. But police keep me under 24/7 surveillance. Police employee criminals harass me each day and defame me every day. They punish me multiple times for crimes committed by others. Do ya think there are misguided priorities for allocation of police resources in this country?

McCloskey has a history of violent offenses in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, according to Wark. New Jersey public records show arrests for shoplifting, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and a drug-related charge.

DSM-Bible of Fake Illnesses

[From article]
"As the DSM-5 task force began its work, [Robert] Spitzer was “dumbfounded” when Darrel Regier, the APA’s director of research and vice chair of the task force, refused his request to see the minutes of its meetings. Soon thereafter, he was appalled, he says, to discover that the APA had required psychiatrists involved with the revision to sign a paper promising they would never talk about what they were doing, except when necessary for their jobs. “The intent seemed to be not to let anyone know what the hell was going on,” Spitzer says.
Sunshine the best disinfectant is not allowed to expose the greed, fake illnesses and chicanery of psychiatry.
[. . .]
Many of these kids were put on antipsychotic drugs, whose effects on the developing brain are poorly understood but which are known to cause obesity and diabetes.
So much for Obama nation's nanny state government controlled categories of food. Is Michelle Obama as clueless about nutrition and drugs as her husband is about computers, national security, economics and the Constitution?
[. . .]
But the idea of more “kids getting unneeded antipsychotics that would make them gain 12 pounds in 12 weeks hit me in the gut. It was uniquely my job and my duty to protect them.
Why no scrutiny of the psychiatric drug industry as a cause of childhood obesity?

Greedy Politicians

By Rush Limbaugh:

I think the vast differences in compensation between victims of the September 11 casualty and those who die serving our country in Uniform are profound. No one is really talking about it either, because you just don't criticize anything having to do with September 11. Well, I can't let the numbers pass by because it says something really disturbing about the entitlement mentality of this country. If you lost a family member in the September 11 attack, you're going to get an average of $1,185,000. The range is a minimum guarantee of $250,000, all the way up to $4.7 million..
If you are a surviving family member of an American soldier killed in action,
the first check you get is a $6,000 direct death benefit, half of which is taxable.
Next, you get $1,750 for burial costs. If you are the surviving spouse, you get $833 a month until you remarry. And there's a payment of $211 per month for each child under 18. When the child hits 18, those payments come to a screeching halt.
Keep in mind that some of the people who are getting an average of $1.185 million up to $4.7 million are complaining that it's not enough. Their deaths were tragic, but for most, they were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. Soldiers put themselves in harms way FOR ALL OF US, and they and their families

know the dangers...
(Actually, soldiers are put in harms way by politicians and commanding officers.)
We also learned over the weekend that some of the victims from the Oklahoma City bombing have started an organization asking for the same deal that the September 11 families are getting. In addition to that, some of the families of those bombed in the embassies are now asking for compensation as well.
You see where this is going, don't you? Folks, this is part and parcel of over 50 years of entitlement politics in this country. It's just really sad. Every time a pay raise comes up for the military, they usually receive next to nothing of a raise. Now the green machine is in combat in the Middle East while their families have to survive on food stamps and live in low-rent housing. Make sense?
However, our own US Congress voted themselves a raise. Many of you don't know that they only have to be in Congress one time to receive a pension that is more than $15,000 per month. And most are now equal to being millionaires plus. They do not receive Social Security on retirement because they didn't have to pay into the system. If some of the military people stay in for 20 years and get out as an E-7, they may receive a pension of $1,000 per month, and the very people who
placed them in harm's way receives a pension of $15,000 per month.

I would like to see our elected officials pick up a weapon and join ranks before they start cutting out benefits and lowering pay for our sons and daughters who are now fighting.
"When do we finally do something about this?"
