Florida Gentleman Tries To Kidnap Teenage Girl Who Was Shopping With Her Mother

Blaming psychiatry. Yes, that is the cause of crime. All crazy people are violent and dangerous, just ask Hillary Clinton the first woman, blah, blah, blah. All it takes is one psychiatrist or a psychologist employed by police or a crime family to say, "The subject is dangerous and will be violent in the future." Judges enable this misguided abuse of the courts and waste of taxpayer money. Shame, shame on the continued institutionalized slurring of all persons accused of psychiatry, and made up illnesses. The gentleman who tried to kidnap the teen is an evil man, a criminal.

[From article]
Shocking video footage shows a 30-year-old man trying to kidnap a teenager by dragging her across the floor of a Dollar General store in Florida while her mother desperately tried to stop him.
Craig Bonello was seen shopping in the store when he suddenly grabbed the 13-year-old girl, who was shopping with her mother in Hernando just before noon on Tuesday.
Bonello, who was stopped outside the store by an off duty sheriff's deputy, will be charged with kidnapping and child abuse.
Bonello appeared to be pushing a shopping cart loaded with goods when he circled around an aisle and suddenly grabbed the teenager, whose name is being withheld.
The Citrus County Sheriff's Office credited the girl's heroic mother, who followed Bonello and desperately tried to snatch her daughter in a 'tug of war', NBC reported.
According to WFAA, the mother eventually lay on top of the teen to prevent Bonello from dragging her out the store.
'In my 10 years on the road I have never seen anything like this. He truly intended to abduct this child right in front of everyone in the store,' Sergeant Craig Callahan said in a statement.
'It actually was violent enough to tear the girl's shirt up pretty badly that she was wearing,' Callahan added.
'We're very fortunate that the mother had the motherly instinct and did what she did. She may have saved her daughter's life.'
The manager yelled as Bonello tried to flee, and off-duty deputy Jonathan Behnen happened to be walking into the store after spending the morning in court.
Behnen blocked the 30-year-old's car as he tried to drive off and eventually arrested him.
No one was injured, and an investigation is ongoing.
Bonello's uncle suggested the man was suffering from mental illness, saying: 'It's just sad that this has happened, because this is not the kid that grew up with my kids.
'He needs to talk to some psychiatrists and find out what the issue is,' Tony Bonello said.
Bonello, who has several misdemeanors on his record, was most recently arrested for trespassing at a Walmart in February.

Therapeutic State Promotes Double Standards. Muslim Feelings More Important Than Others

[From article]
If alleged Islamophobia causes Muslims to pillage, rape, and slaughter, then how come centuries of anti-Semitism have not produced a raging Jewish population hell-bent on murder? Or if cartoons about Muhammad can cause homicidal riots, how come the daily anti-Semitic cartoons emanating out of the Middle East and other parts of the globe do not result in Jews going on a rampage?
Because civilized people don't behave this way.
For that matter, how come when people step on the American flag and rip it to shreds, Americans don't go on assassination raids?
I am absolutely sick and tired of talking heads using a double standard for those Muslims who act like barbarians against their own women and against other people who refuse to accede to their demands.
If you don't want to eat bacon, then don't eat bacon.
If you don't want to drink alcohol, then don't drink alcohol.
If you don't want to wear pig costumes, then don't.
But we will not surrender to your demands.
When people begin to self-censor their ideas, their activities, their food, and their entertainment, we might as well put "RIP" over our heads, because we are triggering our own suicide.
I, for one, opt out of that thinking. If you cannot abide by the American Constitution, and despise what the Stars and Stripes symbolizes, you are certainly free to leave this country. If you cannot use the same toilet as a non-Muslim child, then please do not use the facilities. We are not going backward to a segregation of Muslims vs. non-Muslims.
If you want to pray, you will not take over public space of a taxpayer-funded university and demand a key to lock out anyone else who wants to use the room.
Engaging in female genital mutilation has no place in this country; it is heinous and a form of child abuse.
If you don't approve of gay people's lifestyles, it is unacceptable to harm them. You can think what you want, but when you act out and are violent, then you have crossed the line. It will not be tolerated.
And no, we don't want American girls to wear the hijab in school, since it actually represents one part of the infiltration and indoctrination that ultimately results in building mosques, advancing the teaching of Arabic, demanding Halal food, and creating Islamic financial institutions that fund jihad. These are not disconnected events, but part of a well coordinated movement toward an Islamic caliphate.
You will not demand that sharia law be used instead of the Constitution. Sharia is the complete opposite of the rights enumerated in the Constitution, and to say otherwise will be met with "if there is no difference, then why are you demanding a change in the first place?"
You will not receive the largesse of this country and consider it to be jizya paid by the dhimmis. If you cannot take care of your families, then you will be considered a drag on this society. The entitlements will end.
When you stop murdering Christians across the globe, then you will begin to be a part of a community of people who respect others. This last year was the "worst year in modern history for Christian persecution." And "who claims the lion's share of this unprecedented persecution?" – the descendants of Mohammad. It is Christianophobia and Judeophobia that are running rampant because of the actions of jihadists.
This obdurate desire to derail American rights has no place in this country. Why are we so afraid to stand up for the freedom that has made this country unique and so special relative to other countries? Why are we willing to give up our birthright so others can trample all over it?
It is time to refuse to surrender to unyielding demands by jihadists.
And to those who find my words harsh, I pose this question: why are so many Muslims coming to our shores if they refuse to become Americanized?
For those who are knowledgeable about hijra, it is patently clear why.
As explained in Ann Corcoran's Refugee Resettlement and the Hijra to America, "Hijra remains the model to this day for jihadists who seek to populate and dominate new lands. Their migrations are not for the purpose of assimilating peacefully in a new host nation, adopting as their own its traditions and legal systems." Instead, it is to "colonize and then to transform non-Muslim target societies – whether through violent means or via stealthy, pre-violent ones[.]" The ultimate goal is "global submission to shariah and the reestablishment of a caliphate to rule according to it."
For your friends and family who are still not convinced, have them check out the Refugee Resettlement Watch website. Since its launch in 2007, one can see that the U.S. government's refugee resettlement program is "exacerbating the jihadist threat to our nation."
One need only look at what is going on in Europe as un-vetted Muslim immigrants terrorize the women of Germany, England, France, Sweden, and Norway. When did common sense and protection become unimportant?
In a poll commissioned by the Center for Security Policy, more than half (51%) of Muslims in America believe that they should have "the choice of being governed according to Sharia" law. Nearly a quarter believe that "it is legitimate to use violence to punish those who give offense to Islam," and nearly one fifth of Muslim respondents said that the use of violence in the U.S. is justified in order to make sharia the law of the land in this country. Consequently, these findings confirm that, indeed, mass Muslim migration eviscerates Western culture. So has it been in the past, and so will it be going forward, if it is allowed to go unchecked.

UK Doctor Recognizes Psychiatric Illness Fantasies

[From letter]
We seem to find it extraordinarily difficult as a society to hold a mid-point between “You have a physical illness, so your distress is real and no one is to blame for it” and “Your difficulties are imaginary or your or someone else’s fault, and you ought to pull yourself together”. Recent debates about mental distress have illustrated this (Letters, 14 March). Let us be clear that claims about established genetic or biochemical causation for mental distress are, as things stand, entirely fictional. Let us also be clear that we don’t need to raise the spectre of parental blame, as Deborah Orr does (12 March), in order to understand madness in an increasingly unequal, individualistic, competitive and often traumatising and abusive world.

Academic Labeling Is Child Abuse

It is not just parents, but politicians, courts, journalists, police, teachers, and PR flacks that promote the greatest boondoggle in history, i.e. psychiatry and psychology. Private funding is bad enough. But use of taxpayer funds for this useless treatment is a waste of taxpayer funds. Who else predicts the future and gets paid with taxpayer funds and never held accountable for their errors?

[From article]
Although there’s no gainsaying their ubiquitous popularity. Individuals, medicos, public schools and scores of government agencies aggressively push counseling sessions and “evaluations,” recommended drugs, support groups and other metal health therapies. And as far as I can understand they do so in the smug assurance that what they’re advocating is a modern science. After all everybody knows we’ve come light years in managing a child’s adjustment to life from the “dark ages” of only a hundred or a hundred and fifty years ago when mental professionals and their programs and treatments did not exist.
[. . .]

Madame Curie went to pieces at age sixteen with what we’d now diagnose as Clinical Depression (major depressive disorder). George Patton couldn’t read and write until he was nine or ten. Albert Einstein was a late-talker, Teddy Roosevelt was puny and asthmatic when younger and was treated by inhaling the smoke from strong cigars. The author of perhaps the greatest novel written in English, Middlemarch, George Eliot (Mary Ann Evans) was so ugly at age five that even though she was a girl her father felt compelled to invest in her education. But when she died the main reason she was denied a burial in Poet’s Corner in Westminster Abbey was because of her torrid extra-marital love affair with George Lewes. And then there’s the fact that late in life the ugly duckling also managed to attract a husband twenty years her junior. Finally we come to Eric Arthur Blair (George Orwell) who was so bullied in school that today it would have meant the criminal prosecution of school staff, not to mention years of therapy in order to exorcise those demons.
[. . .]
Children born in 1800, 1850 or 1900 almost universally faced conditions and dealt with problems today’s child-care mental health “experts” consider debilitating and yet persevered. Indeed may not have given these conditions much thought because nobody was throwing them in their face week after week year after year asking them how they felt or offering drugs. Offering them only “treatment,” not a cure for bad memories or physical and emotional problems. Let’s be clear about that because as a psychologist once told me in a rare moment of honesty “we [his profession] no longer talk about cure – only treatment.”
[. . .]
Indeed one could consider the difference in self-confidence between children now and in the “dark ages” and convincingly argue that Teddy Bears have done more for children than every child psychologist, child therapist, children’s support group or parenting “expert” who ever opened a case file.
[. . .]
[as I ask repeatedly]
So why do we keep listening to these people?
[. . .]

In large part it’s because parents are reluctant to believe that “normal” behavior or physicality in children extents over such a broad range. That it includes children reading at either two or ten, the really pretty and well, the pretty. It includes late-talkers and early bloomers, emotionally strong and the emotional. In short that children aren’t identical hothouse roses but instead a bouquet of variegated wildflowers.
[. . .]
And then there is the ugly fact that in the age of science many parents cannot stop themselves from measuring their child against benchmarks thought up by academics or parenting “experts” whose personal standard of success (if we look), is often how well their one thirty something darling is doing in drug rehab this time around.
[. . .]
Measuring encouraged by “professionals” in state departments of education who make a career telling parents what skills their children should have at one age or another. And from innumerable “studies” which purport to define normal behavior and skill levels by age and sex but which only provide the tools necessary to bludgeon credulous parents into obtaining “treatment” for their child in any area in which they may not today, assess as well as their peers. Anger management, sleep deprivation, hyperactivity, over eating, undereating, self-esteem, feelings of loss from divorce, a trace of dyslexia, depression, delayed learning, any number of fears whether morbid or otherwise. A “treatment” for every human condition imaginable except a “treatment” for too much “treatment” (although I may be wrong in this.)

NRA More Popular Than The White House Psychiatry More Popular Than Both

Asked by John McLaughlin on January 8, 2016  why Obama's poll numbers are 46 percent while the NRA has a 58 percent approval. Clarence Page answered:

"Probably because a large percentage of people don't know a lot about the NRA. It's an organization that's got gun owners as members. It's largely funded by the gun industry."

Do the same claims apply to the American Psychiatric Association? It is made up of psychiatrists, and largely funded by the psychiatric industry. The question is: Why do people believe what psychiatrists say?

OK To Stereotype Some People, But Not Muslims

We are often reminded that concerns about Muslim terrorists can be offensive to law abiding Muslims living in the United States and elsewhere. We're told it is not only unfair to think awful thoughts about law abiding Muslims, but also that it has the effect of radicalizing other peaceful Muslims. But we never hear about how providing special privileges to Muslims who openly express hatred toward and threats to kill Jews, Americans and to destroy Israel may offend ordinary Americans. What is the effect on them of the hate speech and threats? Does it radicalize Americans? But there is another extremely troubling effect of terrorist speech and actions on the lives of all Americans. That is the loss of freedom. It will likely be a permanent loss. Simple things that ordinary people can no longer do including but are not limited to going to an airport, buying a ticket and getting on a plane without having to be inspected by bureaucrats. Another is going to a football game without having to be inspected by security guards. There are many others but you get the idea. Americans are losing their freedoms due to the extreme acts of a small group of Muslims. The White House claims they are not Muslims as if he knows. He says they are just killers. Why is he more concerned with protecting the warlike acts against Americans, than the loss of Americans' freedom?

The same White House explains that people are to be treated as they see themselves. Thus there are white men and women who say they are black. Men who say they are women and women who say they are men. Psychiatrists and the human services industrial complex (MA State Rep. Marie Parente's term) accept what people say if they believe they are mentally ill or not. Although when it is helpful to the human services industry to have more patients they often provoke people who do not believe they are crazy.

The process is called self identifying. Why does the system of identification of humans not apply to people who say they are Muslims?

Similarly we are told that it is not fair to stereotype all Muslims for the actions of a few. But every day in courts police, prosecutors, judges and lawyers openly assert that a defendant "has a history of mental illness. Does that mean that mental illness causes crime and violence? That all people accused of mental illness are dangerous? It is a pervasive belief in this country yet there are no White House efforts to protect the many harmless humans accused of psychiatrist diagnoses from the few criminals. Why are Muslims more important than persons with disabilities? Does it have to do with numbers? There are estimated 1.6 billon Muslims in the world. Is this simply bullying by this large group of religious people?

Some Disabilities Still Scare Voters

[From article]
a commander in chief who disclosed a mental illness would face an almost insurmountable political problem: “Every time he said a cross word or expressed frustration, people would say, ‘He’s having one of those days.’”
[. . .]
And as recently as the last election cycle, congressional and state-level campaigns were digging up past psychiatric treatment to bludgeon their opponents.
“Any vulnerability can be exploited by people and will be,” explains Newt Gingrich, the former speaker of the House and presidential candidate, whose late mother had bipolar disorder. “That’s just the nature of a very rough-and-tumble-type business.”
[. . .]
“crazy” remains a politically acceptable epithet, whether it’s Obama taunting Republican opponents or Representative Trey Gowdy quipping that he did not want to wrangle members of the House in a leadership position because he did not “have a background in mental health.”
[. . .]
Nixon and John F. Kennedy clandestinely filled their medicine cabinets with psychotropic drugs, recently uncovered documents reveal. In fact, Kennedy aide and historian Arthur Schlesinger Jr. suggested in his journals that several modern presidents were mentally unbalanced; he recorded top aides arguing whether President Lyndon Johnson was clinically paranoid or a manic-depressive, and fretted that there was no constitutional “procedure for dealing with nuts.”
In other words, mental illness is surely more common in Washington than the public knows or wants to believe.
[. . .]
scientists are still trying to understand the underlying medical causes of most mental illnesses, they are at least partly environmental;

Psychiatric Diagnosis of a Leader

[From article]
Does this sound like someone we all know?
“Poverty of emotional feelings, lack of remorse or shame, superficial charm, pathological lying, egocentricity, a lack of insight, absence of nervousness, an inability to love, impulsive antisocial acts, failure to learn from experience.”
It’s a summary (by Richard Lynn) of the first ten of sixteen behavioral traits of the psychopathic personality from the classic work on the subject, Hervey Cleckley’s The Mask of Sanity. The book will be seventy-five years old next year.
[. . .]

Of course like all personality disorders, psychopathology is distributed widely, in less virulent forms, across a large population. Nearly everyone feels depressed occasionally, but only about 7% of Americans are clinically depressed. However, the distribution of psychopaths or sociopaths (Cleckley in later editions uses the words interchangeably) is not geographically random. There is undoubtedly a high concentration in Washington, D.C. But even among Democrats, few display so blatantly so many of the classic features described by the Georgia psychiatrist as the current resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
[. . .]

With a few notable exceptions, Jack Cashill’s Deconstruction Obama, Stanley Kurtz’s Radical-in-Chief, Dinesh d’Souza’s The Roots of Obama’s Rage, Steve Sailer’s America’s Half-Blood Prince, biographies of the President have flown to the remainder table at warp speed -- deservedly. One day, when candid, thorough, dispassionate studies of our first post-racial President are written, we’ll have a better idea of the psychopathology this cold-blooded seducer of a nation. Before they sit down with their notes, Obama’s future biographers might want to take a look at The Mask of Sanity.

United Nations Psychiatric Rules More Strict Than American System, Freedom Dies Some More

And I thought American psychiatry was conformist. Hahaha. Psychiatry is personal opinion masquerading as science. The UN standards make it easier than the American version to deny freedom to individuals. Psychiatrists declare speech and behavior, which they do not like or do not understand, expression protected by the US Constitution as mental illness. It will get worse. Ordinary civilians need to identify propaganda which promotes this evil killer of freedom and liberty.

[From article]
In 1950, the American Psychiatric Association undertook the revision and expansion of a nosology of mental disorders, which was originally compiled in support of the WWII effort by the War Department under the auspices of the surgeon general. Largely based on that work, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM I) was published in 1952. The DSM I contained 106 mental disorders.
[. . .]
Since its initial publication, American mental health professionals have used the DSM to understand the elusive boundaries between normal and abnormal mental states and to alleviate mental suffering.
[. . .]

The personality disorders have always been controversial. It's impossible to find a clear dividing line between normal individual differences and ascribed abnormality.
[. . .]
It is a subjective decision. Also, the personality disorders are culturally bound. Narcissism in one cultural context can be healthy, adaptive self-advancement in another.
[. . .]

A diagnostic nomenclature that is not theoretically robust enough to lead to helpful treatments is nothing more than idle name-calling.
The ICD-10 has just pulverized the theoretical foundations of personality disorders into idle name-calling.
[. . .]
The U.N.'s occupy medicine movement has done to personality diagnosis what Occupy Wall Street did to police cars.
[. . .]

The term “defective” has been considered unethical and abusive for years. It is a disgrace to psychiatry and psychology to accept a document that has the term “defective” in it. Who are moral defectives today?
[. . .]

Humanity is tragically familiar with how totalitarian regimes seize power. They attack intellectuals and artists first. Now that this obfuscating laxation has been installed in every computer in every medical clinic and hospital in America, it will become easier for transnational elites to control American medical research and practice. But why have the medical and allied professions and the insurers accepted the U.N.'s travesty of their knowledge and values? Why have the monopolistic mega-insurers agreed that the coding they use for payment be authorized by a division of the U.N.?

Here is an answer from the trenches of mental health: American medicine is controlled by the federal government through Medicare, Medicaid, and the new public-private syndicate called Obamacare. The federal government-insurer cartel has made the biggest sweetheart deal in history. The government protects pseudo-private big insurance from true free-market competition and antitrust scrutiny. Concurrently, the federal government stealthily and relentlessly works to make Americans subjects of the U.N. Doctors function as serfs for big insurance, which is a de facto bureaucratic arm of the federal government, which in turn collects billions of taxpayer dollars. All of these players, caring more about money than ethics or nation, are consenting to UN control.

Ann Coulter, Right On Media Distortion, Censorship; Wrong On Psychiatry

Coulter repeats a misguided conclusion every time she argues that a psychiatric diagnosis is causally connected with crime or violence. She may believe it but that does not make it true. Liberals blame guns. Conservatives blame psychiatric diagnoses. She recognizes psychiatrists are unable to distinguish between sanity and insanity. It is an arbitrary standard. Coulter seldom recognizes that psychiatric drugs may be an influence, have a causal connection to crime or violence. If extremist liberals designated her crazy, as many of them do, and sent a psychiatrist to support their concerns. Are there any psychiatrists who would willingly commit her? This argument needs more study as the academics say.

[From article]
The media act as if they’re performing a public service by refusing to release details about the perpetrator of the recent mass shooting at a community college in Oregon. But we were given plenty of information about Dylan Roof, Adam Lanza, James Holmes and Jared Loughner.
Now, quick: Name the mass shooters at the Chattanooga military recruitment center; the Washington Navy Yard; the high school in Washington state; Fort Hood (the second time) and the Christian college in California. All those shootings also occurred during the last three years.

The answers are: Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez, Kuwaiti; Aaron Alexis, black, possibly Barbadian-American; Jaylen Ray Fryberg, Indian; Ivan Antonio Lopez, Hispanic; and One L. Goh, Korean immigrant. (While I’m here: Why are we bringing in immigrants who are mentally unstable?)
There’s a rigid formula in media accounts of mass shootings: If possible, blame it on angry white men; when that won’t work, blame it on guns.
[. . .]

After the fact, scores of psychiatrists are always lining up to testify that the defendant was legally insane, unable to control his actions. That information would be a lot more helpful before the wanton slaughter.
[. . .]

Yes, according to the Treatment Advocacy Center, there are a grand total of 17 psychiatric beds even available, not necessarily being used. In 1955, there were 340.
[. . .]

But I notice that every mass murder is committed by someone who is mentally ill.

Disabled Virginia Man, 24, Died In Jail, Arrested For $5 Theft

Members of Jamycheal Mitchell’s family, wearing shirts with his photograph, pose for a portrait at the home of his aunt in Chesapeake, Va.
(Timothy C. Wright/For the Washington Post)

This appears to be propaganda for the psychiatric and hospital industries, perhaps a talking points memo written by a PR flack for corporate interests. The report notes the gentleman stopped taking psychiatric medications, suggesting that may have caused his erratic behavior. If stopping taking drugs caused bad, or unwanted behavior, why start taking the drugs? His mother explained he was a happy prankster. Any history of violence, or crime, until after he began taking chemicals? The human services industrial complex (MA State Rep. Marie Parente's term), promotes conflating psychiatric diagnoses with crime and violence. They do not provide evidence of any causal connection.

The prison guard explained he was treated the same as other inmates. But he was held because of a psychiatric diagnosis, which placed him in a different category. He had a disability. Why wasn't he provided with reasonable accommodations? The Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990 were in effect long before his arrest. Why are prisons not held accountable to these settled laws as the homosexual lobby demands for same sex marriage, a case decision, not a statute passed by the U.S. Congress. Instead the focus is on spending more taxpayer funds to incarcerate disabled persons based upon arbitrary standards of psychiatry. This is one more example of misguided corporate interests overriding good sense and human rights. Nowhere in this article, was the concept of the patient having a disability or having any rights, mentioned. Only taxpayer funded treatment is promoted, which benefits the industry. Rights for disabled persons are inconvenient. Seldom are rights recognized for persons with disabilities.

[From article]
Jamycheal Mitchell had stopped taking his schizophrenia medication before he walked into a 7-Eleven near his family’s Portsmouth, Va., home in April and allegedly stole a Mountain Dew, a Snickers bar and a Zebra Cake totaling $5.05.
After the 24-year-old’s arrest, a judge ordered him to a state psychiatric hospital to get help. But like an increasing number of the mentally ill, he sat in jail for months as he waited for a bed to open.
Other inmates said Mitchell paced naked in a cell often covered in his own filth. Family members said they were told he sometimes refused to eat or take medication, and jail records show he manically yelled. He grew gaunt, and by Aug. 19 he was dead, having shed at least 36 pounds.
[. . .]

“Food was delivered to his cell,” said Lt. Col. Eugene Taylor, assistant superintendent at the HRRJ. “He could have flushed meals.” Taylor said the jail could not say for sure that Mitchell was eating, but he also said Mitchell did not complain that he was losing weight.
[. . .]

But Mitchell also struggled with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder for a decade. Adams said her son had to be hospitalized on a handful of occasions and was unable to hold a job.
Mitchell’s family said he was acting increasingly erratic the week before he showed up at the 7-Eleven and had been off his medication for months. He stole the snacks just after midnight on April 22, according to court records, and was arrested and taken to the Portsmouth jail. His weight was listed as 180 pounds on his arrest warrant. He was around 6 feet tall.
In the days after his arrest, Mitchell waived his right to an attorney and appeared “confused” during an interview, according to court records.

Mitchell’s bond was initially set at $3,000 but was later revoked. The court file doesn’t explain why, but Mitchell’s family members said they were told by court officials it was so he could get help.

White House Orders Psychiatric Evaluations Of All Citizens; NIMH Chief Leaves Government For Google

One more abomination. As if the government does not have enough control over civilian lives. This is an abuse that will end any kind of freedom for humans. The arbitrary nature of psychiatric diagnoses will be applied for controlling human activity based upon their use of words. Evaluations by computer analysis of medical files, and information collected by government control freaks.

[From article]
A new executive order from President Obama directs all government agencies to use psychological science and data to help connect more Americans to government programs.
The order instructs government agencies to use “behavioral science”— a tactic used by Obama’s political campaigns to harness data from their supporters to target them effectively.
The program has already existed in an experimental form, but now Obama has formally established the federal “Social and Behavioral Sciences Team,” ordering them to to use psychology and experimental behavior data to make government more user-friendly.
An example of these techniques used during Obama’s campaign was that it was better to affirm a positive message rather than denying a negative message.
According to reports, behavioral science was used to advise the campaign to focus on Obama’s Christianity instead of trying to deny the notion that he was a Muslim. Other tactics included encouraging supporters to act for the campaign in small ways before asking them to commit to bigger goals.
[. . .]
The program, however, will likely lead more government agencies to using and storing data from randomized research trials on everyday Americans to understand their behavior.
Obama’s executive order codifies his government experiment into law, allowing every agency to target individuals for greater service and success.

In hiring him, Google, which is in the process of reorganizing into a new company called Alphabet, lands a first-rate research scientist and administrator with an exhaustive knowledge of brain and behavioral sciences. He has also recruited some of the top researchers into the brain sciences from other fields.
“Tom’s leaving is a great loss for all of us,” said Dr. E. Fuller Torrey, the executive director of the Stanley Medical Research Institute, a nonprofit that supports research into severe mental illnesses. “He refocused N.I.M.H. on its primary mission — research on the causes and better treatments for individuals with serious mental illness.”
[. . .]
Moment-to-moment mental tracking has also become a commercial reality, he said, and that technology could help identify, and more precisely address, the sources of depression and anxiety, including social interactions or sleep disruption. “The idea is to use the power of data analytics to make behavioral studies much more objective than they have been before,” he said.
Google Life Sciences is already developing a contact lens that tracks glucose levels for diabetes management, and a heart activity monitor worn on the wrist. Dr. Insel’s ideas for mood and language tracking are, for now, just that — ideas. The company has not yet decided on where first to invest in mental health.
[. . .]
When he steps down in November, Dr. Insel, 63, will have been the longest-serving director of N.I.M.H since Dr. Robert H. Felix, the agency’s founder, who left in 1964. Dr. Insel’s tenure spanned four presidential terms,

Disagree With A Liberal, Psychiatry Will be Unleashed On You

The Goldwater Rule is no longer enforced. Today many psychologists, psychiatrists and for those who do not make diagnoses of unseen people, there are always journalists, police and academic consultants. Crazy is as anyone says. In extreme cases of omniscience some add dangerous to the crazy analysis.

[From article]
The main point to keep in mind is that your op-ed is not intended to elucidate, educate or amuse. These are status pieces meant to strike a pose, signaling that you are a good person.
After reading your op-ed, readers should feel the warm sensation of being superior to other people — those who don’t agree with you. The idea is to be in fashion. It’s all about attitude, heavy on eye-rolling.
[. . .]
I am obsessed with Donald Trump. I wish I could cancel my book tour and just lie in bed watching his speeches all day long. I’m like a lovesick teenager studying Justin Bieber videos. And I’ve never seen Trump look angry.
[. . .]
Psychoanalysis has been liberals’ go-to move forever.
Following the 1964 presidential election, the American Psychiatric Association was forced to issue “the Goldwater rule,” prohibiting shrinks from psychoanalyzing people they’d never met, after a few thousand of them had issued their professional opinion that Barry Goldwater was nuts.
[. . .]
It’s not very interesting, but, again, the sole purpose of your op-ed is to assure the status-anxious that they are better than other people.
(2) The perfect hack phrase is to say conservatives are “frightened of the country changing around them.”
[. . .]
If the Democratic Party were a reality TV show, it would be called “America’s Got Grievances!”
[. . .]
Times writers are like personal shoppers for people too lazy to form their own opinions. Just don’t imagine that this is good writing, comedy or art.

Blaming Mental Illness for Homicide, New York Lawyer Daughter Kills Mother

Suzan Grossman-Kerner (center) is led out of police headquarters in Mineola on Tuesday.

Here's another example of lawyers using psychiatric diagnoses as a defense for homicide. It shows that some people will say anything for money. There is no causal connection between a psychiatric diagnosis and crime or violence. Lawyers become judges who continue to promote this misguided fantasy, a means of covering up violence by evil humans who know no respect for others and have little concern for right and wrong. At the same time these evil court room bullies slander all persons who have ever been accused of mental illness, demonizing vulnerable persons with disabilities. In his book The Secret Life of Bill Clinton, about police, courts, FBI and political corruption, Ambrose Evans-Pritchard reveals how the lives of many good and honest policemen and policewomen, informants, prosecutors, judges had their lives destroyed by high level corrupt individuals in state and US government agencies. Two teens were killed to protect drug riddled Arkansas government. One US judge was murdered. In all these and other cases, law abiding civilians had their careers destroyed by use of psychiatric diagnoses. It is an abuse few ordinary civilians understand,  how depraved psychiatrists can be.

[From article]
Grossman-Kerner’s attorney, Todd Greenberg, said she was very distraught.
“She is an attorney and is very upset and a very decent person despite what happened here,” he said. “She has a mental illness and we will deal with this within the court system.”

Cambridge MA Editorial Insults Persons With Disabilities

Do not know the source material for this editorial. (Editorial: Prisons and mental illness, Aug. 7, 2015, CAMBRIDGE Chronicle) But it makes unsupported statements which conflate crime, homelessness and psychiatry. The conclusions are extremely offensive to anyone ever accused of mental illness. There is no evidence of any causal connection between crime, violence and a psychiatric diagnosis. It is a pervasive misguided belief by journalists, lawyers and politicians. The drug industry supports the psychiatric industry promoting these literally fantastic beliefs. It is great for increasing the client base and income of those industries. But it remains unsupported by facts. It is one method of institutional demonizing of persons with disabilities which this editorial makes worse. Stop the insults.

[From editorial]
Massachusetts is at last beginning to come to grips with the fact that its prisons and jails are crowded with people whose “crimes” are inseparable from their mental illnesses.
[. . .]
The state’s efforts will focus on individuals whose mental health issues are the underlying reason behind their imprisonment.
[. . .]
80 percent of the prisoners are held for crimes directly traceable to drug addiction or mental illness.

Convention of People Who Hear Voices

[From article]
Recently, Waddingham and more than 200 other voice-hearers from around the world gathered in Thessaloniki, Greece, for the sixth annual World Hearing Voices Congress, organised by Intervoice, an international network of people who hear voices and their supporters. They reject the traditional idea that the voices are a symptom of mental illness. They recast voices as meaningful, albeit unusual, experiences, and believe that potential problems lie not in the voices themselves but in a person’s relationship with them.
[. . .]
The road to this form of recovery often begins in small support groups run by the worldwide Hearing Voices Network (HVN). Founded in the Netherlands in 1987, it allows members to share their stories and coping mechanisms – for example, setting appointments to talk with the voices, so that the voice-hearer can function without distraction the rest of the day – and above all gives voice-hearers a sense of community, as people rather than patients.

Real World Is Not Physical, All Is Energy

This explains how police, crime families, Communists can use devices which emit electromagnetic radiation to influence thoughts and emotions, to inflict pain and imitate body functions and ailments. Who can tell the difference between real thoughts, real emotions, and those generated from directed energy devices? Psychiatrists say only humans can generate thoughts and emotions. But they also say that experiencing emotions is mental illness. For the high priests of the psychiatric industry, it is all about control and business. For police it is all about control and keeping their high tech surveillance devices, secret.

[From article]
It has been written about before, over and over again, but cannot be emphasized enough. The world of quantum physics is an eerie one, one that sheds light on the truth about our world in ways that challenge the existing framework of accepted knowledge.
[. . .]
At the turn of the nineteenth century, physicists started to explore the relationship between energy and the structure of matter. In doing so, the belief that a physical, Newtonian material universe that was at the very heart of scientific knowing was dropped, and the realization that matter is nothing but an illusion replaced it. Scientists began to recognize that everything in the Universe is made out of energy.
[. . .]
Quantum physicists discovered that physical atoms are made up of vortices of energy that are constantly spinning and vibrating, each one radiating its own unique energy signature. Therefore, if we really want to observe ourselves and find out what we are, we are really beings of energy and vibration, radiating our own unique energy signature -this is fact and is what quantum physics has shown us time and time again. We are much more than what we perceive ourselves to be, and it’s time we begin to see ourselves in that light. If you observed the composition of an atom with a microscope you would see a small, invisible tornado-like vortex, with a number of infinitely small energy vortices called quarks and photons. These are what make up the structure of the atom. As you focused in closer and closer on the structure of the atom, you would see nothing, you would observe a physical void. The atom has no physical structure, we have no physical structure, physical things really don’t have any physical structure! Atoms are made out of invisible energy, not tangible matter.
[. . .]
The significance of this information is for us to wake up, and realize that we are all energy, radiating our own unique energy signature. Feelings, thoughts and emotions play a vital role, quantum physics helps us see the significance of how we all feel. If all of us are in a peaceful loving state inside, it will no doubt impact the external world around us, and influence how others feel as well.
[. . .]
Fortunately, many scientists have already taken the leap, and have already questioned the meaning and implications of what we’ve discovered with quantum physics. One of these potential revelations is that “the observer creates the reality.”
[. . .]
Studies have shown that positive emotions and operating from a place of peace within oneself can lead to a very different experience for the person emitting those emotions and for those around them. At our subatomic level, does the vibrational frequency change the manifestation of physical reality? If so, in what way? We know that when an atom changes its state, it absorbs or emits electromagnetic frequencies, which are responsible for changing its state. Do different states of emotion, perception and feelings result in different electromagnetic frequencies? Yes! This has been proven.

Misguided Response to Snow Rage

Author needs to read some Peter Breggin, Margaret Hagan, Thomas Szasz, Fred Baughman, Robert Whitaker, about mental illness. Psychiatry is a means of social control without due process protections. Stalin, Hitler and Mao all used it to silence dissidents. FBI employs behaviorists who make predictions about the future. Ahem! If all persons accused of mental illness were dangerous it would be a simple matter to incarcerate all of them. Police can have a person put away within a few hours. This essay is propaganda for the psychiatric industry with the backing of the pharmaceutical industry. Homelessness was caused by liberals who destroyed inner city flop houses, in the name of eliminating blight. Most great harms result from good intentions.

[From article]
Yet, the editors missed the significance of a small item in the same issue: the hospitals in the area had no beds available in their mental-health wards.
There is the story. The man who killed the young Muslims was quite obviously unbalanced, if not completely deranged, one of the 42.5 million Americans diagnosed with mental illness. He had no history of race or religious hatred but he did have a large cache of weapons in his rented condominium. He openly argued with his neighbors in the condo complex about parking their cars in the wrong spaces. The Muslim graduate students, it was reported, were quite aware of his sometimes intimidating complaints.
[. . .]
Rather, the incident was another example of a terrifying danger lurking in everyday life in America: the thousands of potentially homicidal mentally-ill adults roaming around the country hearing voices or receiving radio signals from outer space through fillings in their teeth. Yet, even if the Chapel Hill killer or his family or friends sought help, the process is too daunting to try. And due to the volume of incidents occurring in the mentally ill community, there was no room to treat him
[. . .]
Even if the mental wards were not full, the process for involuntary commitment in North Carolina (and most states) requires an elaborate procedure that includes contacting the clerk of court or a magistrate. If that process is completed, a law enforcement officer is brought in to take the allegedly mentally ill subject into custody for examination by a “qualified professional”, which could mean a social worker. If this person agrees, the patient is taken to a hospital, where the hospital physician determines whether or not to admit the subject. If admitted, the subject is called in for a hearing, which could take place in the hospital. The next step is for the doctor to decide if the subject stays in the hospital or is assigned to a group home in the community. Of course, if there are no beds, the option is jail or the subject returning home.
[. . .]
In the 1970s, the mental health industry adopted the radical doctrine that society is to blame for mental illness, that it is a violation of human rights to incarcerate the insane. The result caused the closing down of mental hospitals across America, creating the “homeless problem” in the early 1980s.

Another Attempt to Curb Individual Freedom Using Arbitrary Psychiatric Diagnoses

Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, killed a soldier in Ottawa and then rampaged through Canada's parliament before being shot dead was a misfit and perhaps mentally ill, according to friends and family, while his troubled and transient past included robbery and drug offenses.

This report appears to be advocacy for the psychiatric industry.

[From article]
Police said all three were terrorists and motivated by ideology. Authorities and family members said they may have been mentally ill. A growing body of research suggests they might well have been both.
New studies have challenged several decades of thinking that psychological problems are only a minor factor in the making of terrorists. The research has instead found a significant link between mental problems and "lone wolf" terrorism.
Friends and family frequently reveal the medical records of their family and friends. This is unlawful for medical professionals in the U.S. But since the diagnoses are from non psychiatrists why do journalists report them as if valid? That is not to say that any psychiatric diagnosis is valid. Psychiatry is personal opinion masquerading as science. There is no causal connection between an accusation of mental illness and crime. Yet journalists report the connection as real. All persons accused of mental illness are not violent. The ones who commit crimes are criminals. The others are not. It is no different than suggesting that all black people and all homosexuals are criminals. It just does not make sense. Describing a "significant link" does not make a causal connection.
[. . .]
his former lawyer said the standoff was "not a concerted terrorism event" but the work of "a damaged-goods individual."
The same can be said about all criminals, and all non criminals. Do all "damaged" people commit violent crimes?
[. . .]
Spaaij said a number of law enforcement and intelligence agencies have shown interest in his work.
Police, spies, politicians, and psychiatrists are control freaks. Psychiatry is a means of social control with no due process protections. There is no appeal from a diagnosis. Police would love to be able to make arrests without probable cause. There are no penalties for misguided diagnoses by psychiatrists.
[. . .]
Most people with mental health problems are neither terrorists nor violent, and mental illness alone can't explain lone wolf attackers. Some experts dispute whether there is a link at all.
No definition of "a link" is provided. What evidence is there of a causal connection between an accusation of mental illness and crime? None.
[. . .]
a psychology professor at the University of Quebec at Montreal, told the Canadian Senate's national security committee that "to believe that radicalized individuals are crazy or not playing with a full deck will be our first mistake in developing effective counterterrorism strategies."
In order to combat terror and crime it is necessary separate them from psychiatry. Criminals and terrorists must be identified, isolated and punished. Persons accused of mental illness do not get an exemption.
[. . .]
Critics say the strategy can amount to entrapment of mentally vulnerable people who wouldn't have the wherewithal to act alone.
Meanwhile, the fundamental question of whether there is a link between mental health problems and terrorism remains controversial.
It is not controversial. There is no link. No psychiatrist can provide evidence of a causal connection between crime, terrorism and mental illness. They can say there is one but they cannot provide evidence of it. For years the psychiatric industry promoted the idea of a chemical imbalance in the brain, as mental illness. But they were and are unable to provide evidence of any chemical imbalance. They can't even provide a standard for what a chemical balance is. It is propaganda.
[. . .]
One psychiatric report found him to be insane, while a second concluded that he was sane — and judges agreed, sending him to prison indefinitely.
The killer was happy with the outcome. For Breivik, it was recognition that his views were legitimate and not those of a madman.
That is evidence of the arbitrary nature of psychiatry. They pretend to be scientific. Science does not vary based on the observer or the reporter. Nature is uniform, unlike psychiatric diagnoses.
