A 35-year-old man has been accused of decapitating a friend who allegedly raped his girlfriend.
Joseph C. Thoresen from Grand Rapids, Minnesota, has been charged with second degree murder after he supposedly beheaded 20-year-old David A. Haiman.
He was arrested after he ambushed the victim, attacked him and then brutally slayed him, prosecutors say.
Thoresen's girlfriend told police he was upset when she told him she'd been raped in the apartment they shared.
Haiman showed up at their apartment after Thoresen invited him over.
The suspect's girlfriend then started kicking and punching her alleged sex attacker.
Thoresen also hit Haiman and said he should not have raped 'my girl', the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported.
The trio then left the apartment to go and smoke marijuana with other people. They are then believed to have met up with another friend to take methamphetamine.
Police say they then drove around in the woods before pulling over.
Thoresen and Haiman were standing in front of the vehicle, when Thoresen allegedly hit Haiman with a baseball bat.
According to a police report he then stabbed him in the back and abdomen.
Thoresen then took the machete, decapitated Haiman and threw the head in the woods.
Haiman was reported missing on Saturday. Police first found his torso on Sunday morning, and then his head about an hour later.
The pair were listed as friends on Facebook before the attack.
Haiman first came to the attention of authorities early last week when he didn't show up to work.
His missing vehicle was spotted late Friday night, with Thoresen in the passenger seat.
The driver took off but was caught several miles later. Thoresen was briefly detained at the scene, the Star Tribune reported.
The driver told the officer that Thoresen was threatening him with a knife during the pursuit.
He also claimed Thoresen confessed to decapitating Haiman and stealing his car.

Three New York City Gentlemen Charged With Gang Rape of Three Women, On Separate Occasions

Fernando Sandel was one of three men who appeared in Manhattan criminal court Monday (pictured) to face accusations of gang raping three women. He was arrested in August last year at 26 years old.

Isaiah Rivera (above), Joey Cruz (below) and Fernando Sandel are accused of raping three women who had posted online ads offering sex in exchange for money and had made plans to meet with an interested party.

Three men appeared in Manhattan court Monday after being charged with gang-raping three different women on three separate occasions in a horrific strings of attacks.
Isaiah Rivera, Joey Cruz and Fernando Sandel were arrested in August 2015 for raping the women and stealing their money, phones or other valuables, police said at the time.
One of the women was forced onto the roof of the building and the other two were sprayed in the face with a debilitating substance such as Mace, the New York Times reported.
All three attacks happened between June and August last year across Manhattan and the Bronx, with one of them located at the Grand Hyatt hotel on East 42nd Street and another near Gramercy Park, according to authorities.
Police first arrested Sandel, then 26, in August last year while officers kept searching for Rivera, then 31, and Cruz, then 26.
They found the remaining two suspects and detained them two days later, authorities said at the time.
Sandel, Rivera and Cruz all appeared at Manhattan criminal court Monday.
The three women had posted ads online offering sex in exchange for money and had planned to meet with an interested party, the New York Times reported.
The first attack happened on June 28, 2015, police said, when a 20-year-old woman made arrangements to meet up in the South Bronx with a man who had responded to her online ad.
Three men showed up and forced her to the roof of the building before raping her and stealing her money, according to authorities.
The woman was treated at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center and released, CBS reported at the time.
The second rape occurred on August 3, police said, after another woman, who was 34 years old, arranged to meet up with a man at the Grand Hyatt hotel.
There, authorities said, the man sprayed her in the face with an unidentified substance before throwing her on the bed.
Two other men entered the room, tied her up, raped her and stole her handbag and her cellphone, police said.
The woman also received treatment at St Luke’s Hospital before being released, CBS wrote.
The third attack happened the next day, after a 32-year-old woman planned to met up with a man at her apartment near Gramercy Park, according to authorities.
The man arrived and sprayed her with Mace, then two men entered and all three tied her up, raped her and stole her laptop, her cellphone and her bracelet, police said.
The woman was treated at a local hospital.
Police would not specify which man was accused of arranging the dates and which were accused of showing up later on, the New York Post wrote after the arrests last year.

Updated (6): Vanderbilt University Football Players Convicted of Gang Rape; School Officials Found No Rape Earlier; Players Guilty at Retrial

Vandenburg (below) and former teammate Cory Batey (above) were tried and convicted by a jury last year, but the verdicts were thrown out after lawyers discovered the jury foreman had been a victim of statutory rape.

[From article]
The Vanderbilt football player who orchestrated the gang rape of an unconscious woman passed out a box of condoms to his teammates and giggled as they assaulted her for 30 minutes.
Brandon Vandenburg, 23, was found guilty by the jury in Nashville of raping the woman, who he was dating at the time, in his Vanderbilt dorm room three years ago.
It was the conclusion to a trial that has revealed horrifying details of the gang rape that involved Vandenburg and three other football players at the prestigious private Southern university.
Vandenburg, who now faces 15 to 25 years in jail, was taken into custody as soon as the verdicts were read out while his parents began to cry.
Vandenburg and former teammate Cory Batey were convicted last year, but the verdicts were thrown out after it was revealed a juror had not disclosed he was a victim of statutory rape.
The retrial comes amid a national uproar over the six-month sentence former Stanford swimmer Brock Turner was given for sexually assaulting an unconscious woman behind a dumpster.
Much like Turner's defense, Vandenburg's attorneys attempted to paint a portrait of a young athlete who was new to campus and immediately succumbed to peer pressure to party and drink.
Vandenburg had met his victim, who was 21 at the time, during a recruiting visit to the campus. They began to date when he arrived at the school in June 2013, just two weeks before the attack.
The victim said on the stand that she was excited to see Vandenburg, then 20 years old, when he met up with her at the popular Tin Roof bar on June 22, 2013.
Her roommate, Lauren Miller, said she was comfortable leaving the victim behind with the football player, who looked excited to see her.
'I knew they’d been hanging out for a little bit so we trusted him,' Miller said on the stand, according to the Tennessean.
The last thing Vandenburg's victim remembers from that night was sipping a blue drink.
She woke up the next day alone in the bottom bunk in his dorm room, covered in bruises.
Vandenburg told her she had gotten drunk and vomited and that he had to take care of her. She said he made her feel guilty.
'He told me that I had gotten sick in his room and he had to clean it up and that it was horrible and that he had to spend the whole night taking care of me,' she said during Vandenburg's first trial last summer.
'I apologized, I was embarrassed.'
They met up the day after the attack and when Vandenburg initiated sex, his victim consented.
That was the last time the woman saw Vandenburg until they were face to face in court.
But Vandenburg continued to text the girl in the days after the attack, as rumors began to swirl around campus about what really happened in his dorm room.
As Vandenburg was wishing her 'sweet dreams' and asking when they were going to cook together, the police showed the victim the horrific footage he and his teammates had taken.
Vandenburg's texts became more frantic as details of the night became more clear.
'I would never let what they're saying happen to you,' he texted the victim three days after the incident.
'Ok great this is such a mess,' he said in another one. 'I'm never helping anyone get home ever.'
Vandenburg at first told police he had approached three of his teammates, Batey, Brandon Banks and Jaborian McKenzie, merely to help him put the girl in his bed.
Surveillance footage previously aired by ABC News showed Vandenburg carrying the young woman out of a car and into his dorm with three other football players.
The video shows Vandenburg and the men dragging the woman out of an elevator and onto the floor, pausing to take photos of her with their cell phones.
Vandenburg claimed they all then left his dorm room. 'I didn't want to sleep in there with a girl who was, like, a mess,' he told police.
But after police revealed they had seen troubling footage, Vandenburg's story changed. His interview was played to the jury for the first time ever last week.
It could not be used in the 2015 trial because it could have implicated Batey during their co-trial.
'She got sexually assaulted right in front of me,' he told police, trying to pin the attack on his three teammates. 'And I didn't do anything. I should've called someone. They deserve to go to jail.'
'I wish I just would have left her out in front of the dorm room on the floor,' he added. 'I should've been an an a******.
But testimony from McKenzie, Vandenburg's roommate, and two of his friends from California, who received video and images during the attack, tell a different tale.
Pictures and footage retrieved from the cell phones belonging to Vandenburg, Banks and Batey documented the horrific gang rape.
McKenzie said Vandenburg and his teammates put the victim facedown on the tile floor of his room.
He giggled as he told his teammates to 'squeeze that s***', referring to a water bottle that police said one of the men stuck into her anus.
McKenzie said Batey appeared to have sex with the woman, sticking his penis into her mouth.
He sat on her face and raised a middle finger, someone took a picture.
McKenzie said he told Vandenburg he thought the woman would wake up. Vandenburg slapped the woman to prove that she wouldn't. It left a bruise.
Vandeburg tried to wake up his roommate Mark Prioleau, telling him 'We have this b**** in here' and 'We're gonna f*** her', McKenzie said.
Prioleau, who was in the top bunk, saw the four football players surrounding the unconscious woman lying facedown on their dorm room floor. He turned to face the wall and tried to fall asleep.
He said he never checked on the woman and after the attack was done he went to sleep in a friend's room.
McKenzie said Vandenburg was watching porn on his laptop as his teammates assaulted the girl he had been dating, touching himself and trying to get an erection.
The attack lasted 30 minutes and ended with Batey urinating on the woman, testimony states.
Surveillance footage captured Vandenburg exiting the room to cover the camera with a towel.
McKenzie said he and Banks panicked in the bathroom after the attack and that it was Vandenburg who told them to calm down.
He said Vandenburg flushed condoms down the toilet and told them someone he knew had 'beat a rape case' by doing the same.
Four Vanderbilt athletes, football players Chris Boyd, Dillon Van Der Wal and DeAndre Woods, and tennis player Michael Retta, all testified they saw the female victim lying naked in the hallway outside Vandenburg's room that night.
Boyd and Woods helped carry the woman to his bed after the attack when Vandenburg asked for help.
Investigators said in the following days Vandenburg searched on his cell phone: 'Can police recover deleted picture messages'.
He then went to California to try and destroy photographs and video of the attack he sent to high school friends Miles Finley and Joseph Quinzio.
Finley said Vandenburg smashed his phone and threw it into a lake.
Quinzio, who also told the jury that Vandenburg called him during the attack, said his friend destroyed his phone and bought him a new one as well as attempted to erase his computer history.
It took jurors just over four hours of deliberation Saturday before finding Vandenburg guilty on multiple counts of aggravated rape and aggravated sexual battery.
Vandenburg was also convicted of one count of unlawful photography.
'He was the one that got (the woman) there for these strangers to do this to her,' Assistant District Attorney General Jan Norman told the court room during the prosecution's closing argument.
'He provided the victim. And he provided the room.'
Batey was retried in April and found guilty of aggravated rape and other charges. He is scheduled to be sentenced in July.
Banks and McKenzie have yet to be tried and are not currently scheduled to go to trial.
Vandenburg wiped a tear from his eye during his attorney's closing argument, footage published by WSMV revealed.
He shook his head in disbelief as the first guilty verdict was read out.
Norman praised the victim, who went on to graduate from Vanderbilt with honors and is now pursuing her doctorate in another state, for her strength after sitting through three years of trials.
'She is one of the strongest people that I know,' Norman said.
'She has incredible courage. She is just an amazing, intelligent young woman.'

A former Vanderbilt football player encouraged his teammates to have sex with an unconscious woman he had been dating, a prosecutor told jurors Monday.
During opening statements in the retrial of Brandon Vandenburg, the prosecutor said the former player even passed out the condoms to three teammates before she was raped.
He said the attack came after the football player plied the female student with alcohol.
Vandenburg, a 22-year-old former tight end from Indio, California, is not accused of having sex with the victim in the dorm on the Nashville campus in June 2013.
But prosecutors maintain that he should be held responsible for what other players did to the woman because he encouraged it and was part of the crime.
Lawyers told jurors they would see graphic evidence that included cellphone videos and photos that players took of the female student during the attack.
Vandenburg took the videos, Deputy District Attorney General Tom Thurman told jurors.
'He's giving instructions, encouraging, and then you'll hear him laughing,' Thurman said. 'He thinks it's hilarious.'
The retrial comes against the backdrop of a furor over the six-month sentence former Stanford University swimmer Brock Turner received after being convicted of sexual assault.
The cases at two of America's elite universities are part of broader national debate about sexual assaults on college and university campuses.
Vandenburg's defense, however, maintains that the other three players are to blame.
Defense attorney Randy Reagan said Vandenburg was a 19-year-old newly arrived recruit from a small desert town in California who had been introduced to a culture of drinking and partying at the school by mentors on the football team.
He said a female booster often spent hundreds of dollars on rounds of drinks for players at a popular Nashville nightclub and had bought drinks for the victim.
Vandenburg, the lawyer said, had been drinking from the morning into the early hours of the next day when he asked football players that he didn't know to help him carry the unconscious woman up to his dorm room.
The other players, Reagan said, were immediately all over the 21-year-old student as soon as they got her in the room.
Nobody disputes what happened to the woman was terrible, the lawyer said.
'Mr Vandenburg maybe could have stopped it,' Reagan told jurors. 'But the state is asking you to find Mr Vandenburg criminally responsible for the actions of people he didn't know minutes before all this happened.'
The defense attorney said the videos jurors would see are 'horrible' but asked them not to close their minds.
The former tight end had tried to use an expert witness for rebuttal who was prepared to testify that the combination of brain trauma from concussions Vandenburg suffered playing football and alcohol intoxication would have severely altered the former player's judgment.
However, Davidson County Criminal Court Judge Monte Watkins said jurors could not hear the testimony because the Knoxville psychiatrist had not examined Vandenburg, was not an expert on toxicology and had arrived at his conclusions based on an email from the defense.
Vandenburg is charged with five counts of aggravated rape, two counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of unlawful photography.
He and former teammate Cory Batey were tried and convicted by a jury last year, but the verdicts were thrown out after lawyers discovered the jury foreman had been a victim of statutory rape.
Batey was retried in April and found guilty of aggravated rape and other charges. He is scheduled to be sentenced in July.
Two other players have yet to be tried and are not currently scheduled to go to trial.

A year before two Vanderbilt football players were convicted in a 2013 gang rape, campus officials concluded there was a lack of evidence that 'nonconsensual sexual intercourse' had occurred.
The report from the Tennessee school's Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action and Disability Services Department led to the expulsion of Brandon Vandenburg, Cory Baty and two other players.
However, Vanderbilt has refused to release its on-campus findings, leading some to wonder if the panel determined the players had, in fact, raped an unconscious female student.
According to the Tennessean, the school's report concluded only that Vandenburg was an 'accomplice' in violating the woman's privacy.
[. . .]
The school is now the focus of an investigation by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights for its handling of sexual violence allegations.
[. . .]
Charging all four players with rape even though not all of them engaged in the act itself sends a strong message about holding people accountable, said Jane Stapleton, a University of New Hampshire professor who runs bystander intervention programs at campuses. Only two players were accused of raping the student, but all four were charged with it because prosecutors held them criminally responsible based on their actions that night.
[. . .]
Rumors swirled around campus, but she didn't learn what had happened until well after police came to her. The players had tried to cover it up by erasing the images. Testimony showed at least five other Vanderbilt athletes saw her in distress and did not report it.

Despite the photos and video, and witnesses seeing the woman unconscious and at least partially naked in the dorm, no one reported it.
The trial played out amid a national conversation about rape on college campuses. In Nashville, where the prestigious private university is located, hundreds of officials from colleges across the state are meeting this week for a two-day summit on how to reduce sexual assaults.
Attorneys for Vandenburg, who had been seeing the woman, said he did not assault her but was recorded on video laughing and encouraging his teammates. Batey’s attorneys said the images didn’t show him assaulting the woman.
Defense lawyers argued that Vandenburg and Batey were too drunk to know what they were doing and that a college culture of binge drinking and promiscuous sex should be partly to blame.

A former Vanderbilt football player accused of raping an unconscious student has described how his teammates slapped and urinated on the woman while her boyfriend encouraged them to assault her.
Jaborian 'Tip' McKenzie, 20, took the stand in Nashville, Tennessee on Tuesday to testify in the rape trials of his former teammates Brandon Vandenburg, 21, and Cory Batey, 20.
McKenzie is also accused of raping the woman in the Vanderbilt dorm room in June 2013 but he insists he never touched her. He and another defendant, Brandon Banks, 20, are awaiting trial.
On Tuesday, he described in graphic detail how he went to the Gillette dorm with Batey and Banks after a night of heavy drinking at two different parties and came across Vandenburg and the woman.

Death Sentences For Depraved 2007 Connecticut Multiple Rape, Murder, Arson Convictions Revoked

Victims: Dr. William Petit (left) said it's an 'insult' that Hayes, who raped and murdered his wife Jennifer Hawke-Petit (right) and killed daughters Michaela (center-bottom), 11, and Hayley (center-top), 17, won't be executed.

[From article]
The Connecticut man who lost his wife and daughters in a brutal home invasion in 2007 said Wednesday it was 'sad' one of the killers had his death sentence revoked to comply with new state laws.
Dr. William Petit was tied up in the basement of his New Haven home during the July 23, 2007 attack and almost beaten to death. He could only listen as his wife was raped and murdered by Steven Hayes. Petit managed to flee to a neighbor's home as his daughters perished in the fire Hayes lit.
'It is a very sad day when a prolonged trial and decision and sentencing by a jury that took 4.5 months to seat is overturned by a legislature that ignores the wishes of the people of CT,' he said in a text message via Twitter on Wednesday.
He added: 'The insult is compounded by a Supreme Court that rules on not one but 2 cases based on personal opinions and politics and not the law.'

Tragic: Wolfe-Petit was taken to a bank to withdraw money for the robbers before her murder, while her daughters were tied to their beds. She told the cashier to call the police, but they arrived too late.

Hayes was sentenced to death in 2010 after being convicted of murder, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree sexual assault and 13 other counts.
Co-defendant Joshua Komisarjevsky was also sentenced to death in 2011.
But in 2012 the Connecticut House of Representatives voted to repeal capital punishment, stopping it from being handed out in future cases.
Originally, the 11 people on death row - including Hayes and Komisarjevsky - were still to face execution.
But in August last year that was deemed to be 'cruel and unusual punishment' and their death sentences were commuted.
Hayes's trial, which ended Wednesday is the first in a series deciding what will be done with those men. Komisarjevsky and the other nine men who were on death row have yet to face theirs.
Petit and his family declined to make a statement in court, saying they had already said what needed to be said during the trial, as did Hayes and his public defender Thomas Ullmann.
Superior Court judge Jon C. Blue concluded: 'With the gravity of these crimes and the depravity of your character, nothing more needs to be said.'
He then handed down six consecutive sentences of life without possibility of parole, followed by a total of 106 years for Hayes's crimes.
Hayes and Komisarjevsky committed their crimes in July 2007, when a home-invasion robbery spiraled into a nightmarish litany of rape, child abuse and murder.
The pair forced their way into Petit's home and beat him badly with a baseball bat before tying him up in the basement of his house, which he shared with his wife Jennifer Hawke-Petit, 48, and their daughters Hayley, 17, and Michaela, 11.
The pair demanded money from Petit, then 50, and ransacked his home - but when they found a banking book with $30,000 in it, they changed their mind.
Instead, they decided they would take Hawke-Petit to a bank, and force her to withdraw $15,000. She did, and told the teller what was happening.
But the police did not arrive in time for what happened next.
Once back home, Hayes raped Hawke-Petit, then strangled her to death. Petit, still tied up in the basement, could only listen.
When he heard one of the men say that it 'it will all be over soon,' Petit realized that they were all going to be killed and managed to break the bonds on his hands - but not those on his feet - and crawl to his neighbor's house.
The doctor was so bloodied and disfigured by his beating that his neighbor of 18 years didn't even recognize him at first.

Horror: Hayes and friend Joshua Komisarjevsky raided the Petits' home (pictured after the invasion) in July 2007. They tied Petit up in the basement, then Hayes raped Hawke-Petit before strangling her to death.

As Petit was crawling to safety, his daughters were suffering. They had been tied to their beds, with pillowcases placed over their heads.
Komisarjevsky raped 11-year-old Michaela - he later told authorities he thought she was 16 or 17 - and then Hayes splashed gasoline around the house and set it ablaze.
In journal entries read in court during the trial, Komisarjevsky wrote that he 'resented' the idea that people believe he raped Michaela, but admitting he did sexually assault her and then 'ejaculated onto her' in a 'vulgar display of power.'
He also took photos of her after the assault.
Hayley was able to free herself, but died in the hallway due to the superheated fumes. Michaela's body was found on her bed. It could not be determined how she died.
The suspects then fled the house, ramming through a police barricade with the Petits' vehicle, before being apprehended.
Facing the prospect of execution in 2013, Hayes told The New Haven Register: 'Death for me will be a welcome relief and I hope it will bring some peace and comfort to those who I have hurt so much.'
[. . .]
Since the deaths of his daughters and wife in 2007, Petit has remarried. He and his wife Christine had a son, William Petit III, in 2013.
But he has said he will never come to terms with the loss of his first family.
[. . .]
In May he began a run for state legislature.

Grandson Of Sigmund Freud, MP Accused of Child Rape, Pedophilia

Clement Freud, pictured, has been accused of abusing two young girls, the youngest of whom was just ten according to a new ITV documentary.

[From article]
The widow of Sir Clement Freud has said she is 'profoundly sorry' after a television documentary alleged the broadcaster and former Liberal MP had abused two girls.
Sylvia Woolsey said she was just 11 when Sir Clement – described as a national treasure by Gordon Brown at his funeral in 2009 – began abusing her. She was later invited into his marital bed alongside his actress wife Jill, and also claims he had touched her breast in front of his spouse.
Lady Freud, who is said to have had an affair with writer Will Self’s brother Jonathan when he was 16 and she was 47, issued an immediate apology last night in response to the programme.
The second woman alleges Sir Clement groomed her from 11, abused her at 14 and violently raped her at 18. He was then a Liberal MP.
[. . .]
Sir Clement, a grandson of the psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud and brother of artist Lucian Freud, was known to millions as a chef, comedian, writer and journalist.
He was a regular on BBC shows such as Radio 4’s Just A Minute.
[. . .]
Sir Clement took dark secrets to the grave, according to an ITV Exposure documentary being broadcast tonight. It paints him as a vicious sex attacker, demolishing his image as a lovable wit and raconteur.
After viewing the programme in advance, his widow, who is 89, gave a statement saying: ‘This is a very sad day for me. I was married to Clement for 58 years and loved him dearly.
‘I am shocked, deeply saddened and profoundly sorry for what has happened to these women. I sincerely hope they will now have some peace.’
Miss Woolsey, who is in her late 70s, told the documentary she did not want to take the truth to her tomb. She added: ‘It is the child in me that is speaking – the child that wants to be freed. I would like to just return to the child I was before I was molested physically.’
[. . .]
She claims she met Sir Clement in the south of France, where she was living with her parents and he was the 24-year-old manager of a Cannes hotel. He took a liking to her, and persuaded her mother to let him take her to the beach and on a bus trip, where he molested her. Back in England in 1952, Miss Woolsey’s mother’s marriage fell apart and she sent her 14-year-old daughter to London to live with Freud in his marital home.
She described a disturbing morning when the couple asked her to join them in bed. When Lady Freud went off to make breakfast, she offered to go too but claims his wife replied: ‘No no no no no, you stay where you are, stay where you are with Clay [Clement], I’ll bring it.’
Miss Woolsey recalled: ‘And I knew what was going to happen. I was in my nightdress and he pulls it up and pulls me against him, touching me and kissing me.’
[. . .]
Sir Clement, who was becoming a minor celebrity, running a cabaret club in Sloane Square, would creep into Miss Woolsey’s bedroom to molest her when he returned home late, she said.
She claims he frequently molested her, even 'playfully' touching her breast in front of his wife, although she believes Lady Freud had no knowledge of the abuse.
Miss Woolsey said she ran away at 16 and when Sir Clement found out he sent her a letter accusing her of wrongly construing ‘every sign of affection’ as having ‘an unhealthy sexual motive’.
His second alleged victim, who the programme gave the pseudonym Joanne, said she was 11 when her mother, allowed her to be groomed by him. In 1978, when Sir Clement was Liberal MP for the Isle of Ely and she was 18, she says he ‘brutally’ raped her.
Peter Saunders, founder of the National Association for People Abused in Childhood, told the Mail that Sir Clement had ‘been on the radar’ of the charity.
He added: ‘About 12 years ago, before his death, something was said to me about an allegation of rape concerning him. I was given no name of the woman, but it was given to me with absolute sincerity. At the time, I never thought it would go anywhere because he was rich and powerful. Later I spoke to a friend at Rape Crisis, and she said his name had come up in her world too, a long time ago, but she couldn’t remember the details.’
[. . .]

Sylivia Woosley, pictured, claims she was just ten when she was groomed and abused by Clement Freud.

He'd stroke and kiss me. It was horrible, I was a child: 60 years on woman abused by Clement Freud reveals her agony in TV documentary
Sylvia Woosley met Sir Clement Freud at the age of ten when she moved to the South of France with her mother, stepfather and two sisters.
Sir Clement, then 24 and working at the glamorous Martinez hotel in Cannes, ‘immediately took a liking’ to her.
She told how he rented a house nearby and visited her parents at weekends, bringing her presents.
[. . .]
Sir Clement would often take her to the beach – but she said his attentions took a more sinister turn on a trip into the hills.
Miss Woosley, nicknamed ‘Pooh’ because of her love of honey, recalled: ‘He’d stroke me, and he’d kiss me at the back of the bus on the mouth. He put his tongue in my mouth and it was wet. It was horrible and I didn’t like it. I was disgusted and helpless.’
Sir Clement’s visits to Miss Woosley’s home continued over the next 12 months until he returned to England in 1949.
In 1952, Miss Woosley’s mother’s marriage fell apart and the girl, now aged 14, was sent to live with Sir Clement and his actress wife June Flewett – known by the stage name Jill Raymond – in London.
Now they were under the same roof, Miss Woosley said Sir Clement’s behaviour escalated and he began sexually touching her in front of his wife. Miss Woosley, who has waived her right to anonymity, spoke out as part of an ITV documentary called Exposure: Abused & Betrayed – A Life Sentence. She said: ‘My breasts started to grow, and he took a liking to my left breast and was always pinching it and playing.’
[. . .]
Sir Clement often came into the teenager’s bedroom after returning home from the nightclub he ran. She said: ‘If he had been violent, I would probably then have been able to react. But because the way he went about it was so, sort of gentle and loving ... I just lay there and he’d put his hand up my nightdress and cuddle me and touch me. And so on.’
A diary entry by Miss Woosley’s friend, Sonia Markham, corroborates her story. Dated November 1956, it reads: ‘Spent the night with Sylvia as she’s scared Clay will try and force himself on her.’ A year later, Miss Woosley told Sir Clement’s nanny about the abuse she was suffering and moved out to live with Miss Markham.

Groomed at 11, then a horrific attack at 18, Clement Freud's second victim reveals how the then MP abused her in the House of Commons
Joanne – not her real name – met Clement Freud in 1971 when he came to her family home bearing gifts.
From the age of 11 onwards he would phone her and tell her she was a ‘special child with a rare, high intelligence’.
In 1973 Sir Clement became a Liberal MP, after which he went on to invite Joanne to the Houses of Parliament and to his home.
He also began grooming her. She recalled: ‘I can remember him kissing me on the mouth and soft hugging.
‘I felt sick but grateful at the same time, frightened and unable to move or react in any way.’[. . .]
Sir Clement invited Joanne and a female friend of hers to his home for dinner in 1974, when she was just 14.
Joanne said: ‘During a tour of the house he tried to lock us into his basement bedroom.
‘I cannot entirely remember what he said, but it was something along the lines of: “Would you like to get naked and have some fun?”’
But the worst was yet to come.
Sir Clement offered to cook for Joanne again in June 1978, when she was 18, and invited himself over to her parents’ home.
Describing the nightmarish evening, she said: ‘He had a bath, cooked for me and then began making soft sexual advances to me at the dinner table.
‘I consistently said no but he just kept pushing and cajoling me, with leering and witty put-downs about his being good at this etc. He came down on me and I froze up with terror.
‘I kept saying I did not want him to continue forcing me, but was terrified that he would become violent.’
Sir Clement then took her by the hand to her parents’ bed, where he ‘brutally’ raped her.
After he had finished, she recalled: ‘Then he just got up, said, “you can stay there my dear” and went next door to watch the World Cup in our living room.’ Joanne, who claimed she was left bleeding for a week, called one of her friends that evening and told her what had happened.
She also tried to talk to her mother, but she just told her she had had a ‘bad sexual experience’.
A year later Sir Clement was due to visit Joanne’s family home but she fled before he arrived.
He sent her a letter to say he was ‘grieved’ she had left and offered her theatre tickets.
It read: ‘I understand that you heard I was coming, and raced off into the night. This grieves me.

‘Next time, why don’t we have me race off into the night and you stay home. Alternatively, as I am now 86 and you are older than you were, may I send you a ticket to the National Theatre as a gesture of my continued affection.’ Freud was joking about his age. In fact, he was 55 at the time, some 37 years older than the young woman he allegedly raped.
Joanne said: ‘Freud was a clever man. As I now interpret what I witnessed as a child he used the personality flaws and the neuroses of others in order to manipulate them.’
Describing how the grooming affected her, Joanne said: ‘I live in constant terror that I will be found out, exposed. I have already suffered across nearly 40 years.
‘It is not simply to be labelled as depression or mental illness, this is disempowerment, self destructiveness and grief. This is what real suffering looks like.’

Stanford University Student Sentenced to Six Months For Rape of Unconscious Woman

Carl-Fredrik Arndt (below) and Peter Jonsson (above) are the two Swedish graduate students who caught Stanford swim team member Brock Turner as he raped an unconscious woman on campus on January 18, 2015.

The letter "by Turner's father to the judge, which claimed any jail time would be an excessive price to pay for '20 minutes of action'." is remarkable. It takes seconds to kill a person. What are his ideas on punishment for that?

[From article]
The extraordinary details of how two passing students saved the Stanford rape victim have been revealed - including how one wept as he told police what he had done.
Swedish graduate students Carl-Fredrik Arndt and Peter Jonsson were biking to a party on the Palo Alto, California campus on January 18, 2015 when they saw what they thought was an innocent 'hook-up' behind some dumpsters.
But they realized that the woman was not moving - and approached the man, swim team member Brock Tuner, and discovered that he was raping her.
Their dramatic intervention saved the woman from further harm and when he ran away, Jonsson pursued him, tripped him and pinned him to the ground, holding him until police arrived.
Arndt told how when they went closer to the couple after first seeing them, they knew something was wrong.
'When he got up we saw that she still wasn't moving at all, so we walked up and asked something like, 'What are you doing?'' Arndt recalled in an interview with the Swedish news outlet Expressen on Tuesday.
The two men spoke briefly with Turner, then 19, before he got spooked and tried to run away. Jonsson chased after him and tackled him to the ground while Arndt stayed with the victim and made sure she was alive.
'She was unconscious. The entire time. I checked her and she didn't move at all,' Arndt said in another interview with CBS News.
The two then called 911 and restrained Turner, with help from two other men, until police arrived to make an arrest.
A police report filed in the aftermath of the attack describes how Peter Lars Jonsson, 23, was left so upset by what he had seen, he broke down several times while giving his statement to cops.
Jonsson and his friend Arndt were cycling to a frat party on January 18 2015 when they saw Brock Allen Turner, 20, attacking the 23-year-old woman, known only as Jane Doe.
Turner, who was last week sentenced to six months in jail by a Palo Alto judge, attempted to run but was chased and wrestled to the floor by the Swedes.
[. . .]
In the letter, the woman said she is forever grateful for the actions of the two men, who apprehended Turner after first checking she was still breathing.
'Thank you to the two men who saved me, who I have yet to meet,' she wrote. 'I sleep with two bicycles that I drew taped above my bed to remind myself there are heroes in this story.
'That we are looking out for one another. To have known all of these people, to have felt their protection and love, is something I will never forget.'
When Turner went on trial earlier this year, the two testified in court as key witnesses to the crime.
In March, Turner, from Dayton, Ohio, was found guilty on all three counts of sexual assault.
[. . .]

Critics are calling for Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge Aaron Persky (pictured), who was also a student-athlete at Stanford, to be removed from his position for handing down a light sentence to Turner. But he will continue to serve after nobody stood against him in an election for which nominations closed today.

But he escaped with a pretty lenient sentence last week, when Judge Aaron Persky sentenced him to spend just three months of a six-month sentence in county jail.
Those angry with the decision are now calling for Judge Persky to be removed from his position over the sentence.
That now appears unlikely to happen; the deadline passed earlier on Tuesday for a rival to run against him.
Judge Persky was also a student athlete at Stanford, leading to questions over whether he was influenced in Turner's favor by his own experience.
He explained his decision in court documents, saying a longer sentence would have had a 'severe impact' on Turner, the convicted rapist.
The controversy was fueled by the disclosure of the letter written by Turner's father to the judge, which claimed any jail time would be an excessive price to pay for '20 minutes of action'.

New York City High School Principal Alledegly Did Not Report Gang Rape of Girl In School Bathroom

Principal Michael Wiltshire (right) is being investigated for not coming forward with allegations by a girl that she was raped by five Boys and Girls High School football players at the Brooklyn school (left).

[From article]
Administrators at a troubled Brooklyn high school face potential firing for covering up allegations that a female student was raped by five football players in a locker room, The Post has learned.
The educators include Boys and Girls High School Principal Michael Wiltshire, who was publicly praised by Mayor Bill de Blasio last year but is currently eyeing a new job on Long Island.
An internal investigation by the Department of Education concluded last week that Wiltshire and two assistant principals failed to report the alleged mid-December gang rape after meeting with the girl and her mom, according to a source familiar with the probe’s findings.
Investigators also found the trio failed to report the suspected theft and use of a DOE credit card by students at Boys and Girls, the source said.
“We have clear reporting procedures to ensure incidents and misconduct are thoroughly addressed, and any failure to report is deeply concerning,” DOE spokeswoman Devora Kaye told The Post on Thursday.
[. . .]
DOE rules include a mandate that all employees who learn of alleged crimes committed by students that don’t pose an “immediate safety threat” are required to notify the principal, who “must, in turn, notify the police and the [school safety agent]” and the “appropriate superintendent.”
Principals also are required to file an incident report within 24 hours through the DOE’s Online Occurrence Reporting System.
Instead, Wiltshire and his assistants — Cami Wittingham and Sherlene Thomas-Hughes — questioned whether the girl consented to the locker room incident, the source familiar with the investigation said.
The NYPD’s Special Victims Division, which investigates sex crimes, has no record of a reported rape at the Bed-Stuy school during December, a police spokesman said. DOE officials said no charges were filed.
In addition, “nothing has been entered” into the DOE’s computer system, which is used to compile annual, state-mandated reports, the source familiar with the internal investigation said.
DOE Superintendent Michael Alcoff, who oversees Boys and Girls as part of de Blasio’s School Renewal Program to turn around 94 underperforming schools, learned about the alleged rape through an anonymous phone call following the principal’s meeting with the girl and her mom, the source said.
Wiltshire played dumb when Alcoff confronted him about the tipster’s call and denied knowing anything about the rape allegations, the source said.
Alcoff then blew the whistle, sparking a probe by the city schools’ Special Commissioner of Investigation Richard Condon. His office referred the case to the DOE’s Office of Special Investigations.
Probers recommended that the DOE convene a “technical conference” with department lawyers to consider firing or otherwise disciplining the administrators, the source said.
Wiltshire was put in charge of Boys and Girls in 2014 to improve its dismal performance, which at the time included three straight F’s on its annual progress reports and a graduation rate of just 42 percent.
The deal included a $25,000 bonus for Wiltshire — who earns $182,000-plus annually — and an unusual arrangement that made him “master principal” at Medgar Evers College Preparatory School in Crown Heights, which he has run for the past 13 years.
At last year’s Boys and Girls graduation ceremony, de Blasio hailed Wiltshire’s performance there, which included boosting the graduation rate to 50 percent.
“What I have seen just over this last year from Principal Wiltshire is the kind of leadership that moves mountains, that inspires people, that changes things that people say couldn’t be changed,” de Blasio said.
Wiltshire recently interviewed for a new job as principal of Uniondale High School on Long Island and was planning to decide whether to accept it by the end of the city school year on June 28, DOE officials said.
A statement from the Uniondale school district said it was “currently in the process of interviewing candidates” and that “no decision has been made.”
Wiltshire refused to comment Thursday outside his home in Springfield Gardens, Queens, but later sent an email to The Post saying: “You can contact the superintendent’s office to verify the story. This is not true. Thank you.”

Austrian Woman Raped By Gang Of Muslim Migrants. Police Suggest Modest Clothing, 8 PM Curfew To Woman

Screen grab via Heute

[From article]
Welcome to creeping Sharia, Austria. When Muslims reach a critical threshold in the share of population, especially among young adult males, they begin enforcing new social rules. That is what is happening across Western Europe with the arrival of “refugees” from Syria and many other places.
The Local cites news from Vienna:
A student attacked by a gang of four men has accused police of blaming her because she had blonde hair and sexy clothing.
The incident happened when the young woman, identified only by her first name Sabina, who lives in the capital Vienna had been waiting for a train on the S6 line at the city's main Westbahnhof station.
The 20-year-old, who was hospitalised after the attack by four men in which she was beaten and robbed, told Heute newspaper: "I felt so helpless."
"I had been standing on the platform waiting for the train when a man came up to me and spoke to me in a foreign language. He then started putting his hands through my hair and made it clear that in his cultural background there were hardly any blonde women. I told him to go away, and for a short while he really did go away."
"But it was only to get his pals and a bit later he came back with three others. They stole my handbag and my cards."
And if that was not enough, she said that the four had then attacked her, bashing her to the ground in a rage before running off.
She said that from what they had said she understood they were from Afghanistan and that as she lay on the floor in agony nobody on the platform had helped.
After being treated at hospital for bruising to her head, shoulder and elbow as well as her spine and hips, she went to police.
And her distress had turned to anger when police had told her that she should change her hair colour and should not have been travelling alone after 8pm on public transport.
She said: "At first I was scared, but now I'm more angry than anything. After the attack they told me that women shouldn't be alone on the streets after 8pm. And they also gave me other advice, telling me I should dye my hair dark and also not dress in such a provocative way. Indirectly that means I was partly to blame for what happened to me. That is a massive insult."
Ed Driscoll comments in Instapundit, “Don’t think of it as an insult; think of it as the Austrian police admitting they’re as helpless to stop the onslaught as you are.
When the police are helpless the (sic) protect against enforcement of alien norms by thugs, the thugs win. It is called “submission,” or, in Arabic, “Islam.”
So the “compassion” demanded by Angela Merkel, the pope, and much of the progressive left amounts to surrender of the West to Islam. There is still time to reverse the submission, but with every new arrival of a young male Muslim and those co-religionists who acquiesce to or support him, the prospect diminishes.

Private School Teacher Accused of Rape, Hired By New York City Department of Education

Rodney Alejandro

[From article]
A former Queens biology teacher who allegedly forced an underage student to repeatedly have sex and demanded she have two abortions skirted authorities after a prominent Catholic school quietly fired him, allowing him to work for years in city public schools, officials report.Modal TriggerRodney Alejandro
Rodney Alejandro abused the 15-year-old girl at St. Francis Preparatory School in Queens, and then went on to work for the Department of Education, a 2015 probe by the city’s Special Commissioner of Investigation charges.
First a city substitute in 1998-99, he worked from 2004 to 2010 at Robert Wagner Jr. Secondary School for Arts and Technology in Long Island City and was fired after his state license expired, officials said. He then went on to teach at a religious school in Georgia.
His reported victim, now 43 and living in Queens, declined to comment but confirmed to The Post horrendous details she published in a 2014 blog. The Post is withholding her name.
Alejandro, now 52, allegedly began raping the girl in January 1988.
By the summer of 1988, she got pregnant for the first time and she says “Alejandro forced her to have an abortion,” the SCI reports.
When she got pregnant again in January 1989, “Alejandro insisted upon an abortion,” the report says. The student says she became so depressed that she failed the school year.
“At this point, I was suicidal,” she wrote.
St. Francis Prep never disciplined Alejandro. Instead he “resigned and left the school in good standing,” the SCI found.

Feminism Defers to Multiculturalism, Rape Only Evil If Done By White Christian Men

[From article]
Feminists incessantly harp about a phantom “rape culture” in the United States and other Western countries. On New Year’s Eve 2016, Northern European cities experienced an outbreak of the real thing—and the opponents of patriarchy went silent. It turns out that a more powerful force exists on the left than feminist victimology: multiculturalism.
As revelers gathered in the central square of Cologne, Germany, for the traditional New Year’s Silvesternacht celebrations, thousands of North African and Middle Eastern males started throwing firecrackers into the crowd and attacking passersby. They pickpocketed and robbed males and females, but they directed most of their violence against women: grabbing their breasts and buttocks, inserting their fingers into the women’s vaginas, and, in a few instances, raping them, while shouting sexual insults. A total of 653 victims filed reports with the police.

Similar attacks were reported in Munich, Berlin, Nuremberg, Bremen, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, and Bielefeld, among other cities across 12 German states, though not on the same scale. Outbreaks of sexual violence also occurred in France, Greece, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, and Turkey. The assaults appeared to have been planned and coordinated through social media, Germany’s justice minister Heiko Maas later said. In Cologne, some of the suspects had notes in their pockets with scribbled German translations for female body parts. This mass sexual harassment of females recalled similar incidents during the occupation of Cairo’s Tahrir Square from 2012 to 2014.
German police and political leaders covered up the violence for days. A Cologne police-force press release originally reported that the Silvesternacht celebrations had been peaceful, though officers had witnessed the attacks. Police employees are “afraid of talking about these things in the context of the immigration debate today,” a Stockholm police spokesman told the Guardian, in reference to Sweden’s experience with Muslim sexual attacks on New Year’s Eve and at a music festival in 2014.
Eventually, however, news of the assaults leaked out, and the most surprising cover-up of all began. Leading feminists across the continent and in Great Britain either ignored the incidents entirely or distorted their significance beyond recognition. Silence was justified on the grounds that acknowledging the attacks would encourage opposition to the mass Muslim immigration that had engulfed Europe over the previous year.
[. . .]

When feminists were cornered into addressing the violence, they tied themselves into knots trying to change the subject back to their favorite topic: Western white-male patriarchy.
[. . .]
An old-school German feminist, Alice Schwarzer, denounced the New Year’s assaults as a “gang bang” designed to terrorize women; she found herself condemned by other feminists and “antiracists.” Victims refused to give their names to reporters for fear of being pilloried on social media for xenophobia.
[. . .]

The most dazzling eruption of moral blindness came from a British feminist currently on a fellowship at Harvard’s Berkman Center for Internet and Society. The political and press silence after the New Year’s attacks was a product of Western sexism and indifference to rape, alleged Laurie Penny in The New Statesman. This was, of course, preposterous. Had thousands of white males committed the attacks, a worldwide furor would have immediately broken out. The effort to look the other way was patently the result of cringing political correctness. But Penny was equally critical of the “right-wing press” for condemning the mass violence, since it only did so out of “unbridled racism.”
[. . .]
Penny acknowledged that the “experience of women in the West is [not] exactly the same as the experience of women in Middle Eastern dictatorships and war zones.” Let’s rephrase that, shall we? To live in a society where women’s magazines, pop culture, and advertising incessantly celebrate female sexuality and promiscuity, where every elite profession desperately seeks to hire and promote as many women as it can, and where women enjoy every freedom and right that men do, is not just “not exactly the same” as living in a culture where female rape victims are murdered to preserve their family’s honor and where women who don’t wear the veil or burka face public shaming or worse; there is no similarity whatsoever between those two experiences.
[. . .]
The problem on New Year’s Eve, [The New York Times]reported, was that migrants from war-torn countries were “unfamiliar with German culture.” Translation: the norm that you don’t jam your fingers up women’s vaginas in public is just a quaint German custom, akin to wearing lederhosen.
[. . .]

A public pool in the Bavarian town of Bornheim posted cartoon warnings against the fondling of women’s bikini-clad bottoms, before banning male asylum seekers entirely in January 2016, due to the rash of harassment complaints. Women in Berlin report being called “slut” on the street. As for gay rights, try staging a gay pride parade in one of Europe’s Muslim enclaves, and see how far you get.
The New Year’s assaults should have been a wake-up call about the worsening civilizational clash brought on by mass immigration. The official cover-up of organized child sexual abuse committed by Pakistani-British men in Rotherham, England, foreshadowed the New Year’s suppression of truth by political correctness.
[. . .]
The hierarchy of left-wing pieties thus seems clear: narcissistic feminism may be important, but it’s even more important to inundate the West with Third World peoples.

German Police Reveal Government Ordered Cover Up Of New Year's Eve Cologne Rapes

[From article]
A leaked cache of confidential emails and notes passed between the North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) state government and local police has revealed the extent to which the force were placed under pressure to cover up the migrant sex attacks at New Year’s Eve.
Reportedly released to Cologne-based German newspaper the Express by an inside police source, the documents may imperil the position of NRW interior minister Ralf Jäger. The minister has been clinging to his position since the attacks first became known, days after the event, and even went so far as to fire his chief of police to “restore faith” in the city.
One of the documents sent by Jäger’s interior ministry to the police ont he first of January is a so-called “Important Event-Message” (“Wichtiges Ereignis-Meldung”). Far from the initial claims made, and statements made at an early press conference about the attacks the message confirmed the state government had full knowledge of the gang sex attacks.
The internal message explained there had been “Rape, sexual offenses, thefts, robberies committed by larger foreign Group” and that a “40- to 50-strong group of people” had been acting in the “downtown area” by the railway station “to the detriment of young women”.
Although it took days of exposure on-line and at news outlets such as Breitbart London to reveal the full scale of the attacks, the document confirms that the police were fully aware of what was going on. Describing the offences, it said: “The women were in this case surrounded by the group of people and groped above their clothing, jewellery stolen and was snatched. In one case, a 19-year-old German victim had fingers inserted into her body openings [vagina and anus].
“The criminal group was consistently described by the victims as North Africans, between 17-28 years of age. Investigations are continuing”.

In all, there were 359 complaints of sexual assault and rape on the night.

UK's Multicultural Teen Age Girl Sex Scandal With Muslim Recruiters

[From article]
For the past few decades, British authorities have been caught up in the pervasive meme of multiculturalism -- the falsehood that all cultures are equal and that to believe otherwise is to commit the worst modern day offense -- to be “racist.”
Under this fallacy, the British government in 2001 introduced a series of restrictive speech codes that criminalized criticism of Islam, followed by a Racial and Religious Hatred Bill imposing fines and even imprisonment for speech that “incited hatred against a person for their religious or racial background.”

These laws have victimized a number of Britons. Hoteliers Ben and Sharon Vogelenzang were prosecuted for “insulting” a Muslim guest. Liberty Great Britain party chairman Paul Weston was arrested on suspicion of racial harassment after publicly reading a passage critical of Muslims from Winston Churchill’s The River War. Dr. Vladislav Rogozov, a Czech-born, UK cardiac anesthesiologist, is being investigated by Sheffield's Royal Hallamshire Hospital for giving an online interview about his 2013 confrontation with a Muslim surgeon who refused to replace her blood-specked hijab with the proscribed, operating-theater headgear.
In this context and political climate, with racism conflated with religion – one specific religion – it is easy to see how government and public service employees would fear professional and legal repercussions (up to seven years in prison) merely for speaking up about criminal behavior by Muslims who justify their actions citing the Koran. In this way, teachers, police, child care workers, government officials and others have been silent about the growing menace of Muslim gangs who sexually groom and exploit children in the UK.
In his riveting book, Easy Meat: Inside Britain’s Grooming Gang Scandal (World Encounter Institute/New English Review Press, 2016. 328 pp., $17.20) author Peter McLoughlin explains how multiculturalism-inspired political correctness along with its companion, willful blindness concerning Islamic doctrine, has jeopardized the safety and well-being of children. McLoughlin posits that, since 1988, this nationwide sexploitation has resulted in the shattering of lives of between 100,000 to 1 million girls. The author documents how the fear of being deemed racist and facing criminal charges, dismissal or even threats of violence, has led to suppression of information and a stunning lack of intervention on behalf of young victims. In essence, an extensive, insidious operation that targets children for sexual grooming and enslavement has been covered up because of political correctness and fear of Muslim retribution.
[. . .]

In his research on Muslim groomers, McLoughlin uncovered an unusual distinction between them and non-Muslim pedophiles. Non-Muslim pedophiles are typically lone adults who groom children for sex in reclusive secrecy, worry about being prosecuted by law enforcement, meet accusations with defensive denial and worry about being discovered, shamed, and criticized by friends or relatives. Muslim perpetrators, however, work in gangs, see nothing wrong with their shariah-sanctioned activities, receive collusive support from their communities and feel they are above the law. During his investigations, McLoughlin found not one case of non-Muslim men grooming Muslim girls, although 95% of men in Britain are non-Muslims.
News coverage of the crimes has been mostly obfuscated by a complicit media that characterizes the overwhelmingly Muslim perpetrators as generic “Asians.” According to McLoughlin’s research, limited press coverage by mainly self-censoring journalists and lenient, if any, criminal charges have enabled the gangs to act with relative impunity since 1988.
The author describes how Muslim flesh-peddlers operate as part of a well-organized extensive network of taxi drivers, shop and restaurant owners, and security guards. Girls, mainly between the ages of 11 and 14, the majority from state-run children’s homes, are ensnared while traveling from school to home, at shopping malls, restaurants, bus stations and similar public venues. They are enticed with flattery, feigned friendship, gifts, alcohol and drugs. Alarmingly, a footnote in the book references a quotation from a city outreach worker with the Children’s Society who states, “every girl living in a children’s home in the city of Birmingham is being sexually exploited.”
[. . .]

He cites a 2007 expose, Mothers of Prevention by Julie Bindel, a feminist writer and founder of the legal reform group, Justice for Women.
Bindel estimated that a pimp can make $325,000 to $550,000 annually with one 16-year-old girl. From that, Bindel extrapolated that over the average 15-year-per-girl pimping period, the annual value of this criminal activity could amount to approximately £300 million or $425 million.
McLoughlin does a good job of portraying the frustration and desperation of victim’s families who have sought help to no avail for well over a decade from local councils, law enforcement, child care professionals and journalists. Remarkably, for the most part, UK authorities have failed to warn parents that young girls are at risk or to recommend extra supervision and vigilance. No organized programs to educate girls and parents exist and authorities have largely refused interviews with the media on the topic. Teachers and school administrators have failed to secure the school perimeter to stop sex grooming gangs from lying in wait for girls outside of school premises.
The author reports that police routinely dismiss parents’ concerns and have failed to set up surveillance operations at strategically significant locations. Police have even arrested parents for trying to save their children. In one such case, fathers, who were able to track down their daughters and tried to rescue them were arrested by police. In fact, McLoughlin discloses that law enforcement officers have actually returned wayward girls to their pimps.
McLoughlin reveals that local authorities – social workers, teachers’ unions, educational organizations and childcare agencies – have made no effort to intervene or draw public attention to the pervasive threat. He submits that feared charges of racism preclude their mandated responsibility for the protection of children. In fact, the author reports how major teachers' unions are behind an organization – Unite Against Fascism – that blocks the publicizing of the sex grooming gang phenomenon and its Muslim community participation.

In 2008, a taxpayer-funded national education film, My Dangerous Loverboy, commissioned by the United Kingdom Human Trafficking Centre, was produced ostensibly to warn and educate girls about generic sex grooming gangs. But no mention was made of Muslim involvement or the victims’ young ages. According to McLoughlin, the film has been difficult to obtain and has not been shown to the intended audience: girls, parents, social workers, police officers, school nurses, doctors, teachers, youth workers, sexual health practitioners. My own extensive, month-long efforts to locate a copy were unproductive and met with denials of the crimes’ Muslim connection.
In Easy Meat, McLoughlin laments the very limited prosecution of Muslim sex grooming and pimping crimes. In the rare instances of successful criminal litigation, typical sentences are minimal and usually partially served, if at all, despite existing sentencing guidelines. Gang members have been known to assert Muslim supremacy, make accusations of Muslim victimhood and racism, and threaten retaliation against the girls and their families. Some have clearly cited religious motivations for their crimes in court.
Astonishingly, few victims receive any special protection during the trials. Protection of defendants’ rights supersedes that of victims, even with child victims. The 1989 Children’s Act, a statute requiring the child’s welfare be the court’s paramount consideration, doesn’t seem to make the slightest difference in the proceedings and outcome. More distressing is the fact that the greater the Muslim population density in an area, the lower the conviction rate.
The backdrop for sexual grooming and enslavement of children lies in Islamic doctrines outlined by McLoughlin. He reviews the pervasive slave-taking history of Islam from the 7th century, as well as Islamic doctrine from the Koran citing Islam's view of non-Muslims, its treatment of women and sexual slaves, and the permissibility of sex with children by Mohammed’s example with his nine-year-old third wife, Aisha. McLoughlin explains how sex as rape has historically been used as a weapon of war to assert Islamic supremacy. Islamic doctrine encourages the rape and enslavement of non-Muslims, even with married infidel women as a legal and moral enterprise.
Further, the required first and foremost allegiance to the Umma, or Muslim community, and the inbred obligation of enmity toward non-Muslims facilitates the pimping of non-Muslim girls and hinders any attempts at exposing its criminality and eventual prosecution. Sexual slavery has historically been used as a religious weapon to advance the domination of Islam.
In Easy Meat, McLoughlin details how the sexploitation and enslavement of girls, once viewed as a great evil in Western society, has become a pervasive, routine, and almost pedestrian part of everyday life in the UK. On this issue, the courageous author effectively deals with the contention that Western civilization is fighting for its very existence in a clash between civilization and barbarism. His book serves as a grave warning for other countries as they consider increased levels of Muslim immigration.
