The commander in chief was playing cards while Navy Seals risked their lives to kill America's No. 1 enemy -- only later to use photos of himself watching live feeds for his re-election sloganeering: "bin Laden is dead and General Motors is alive!"
That pretense sums up the growing void between real and trivial America.

Amazing how the focus is always on "African-Americans and Latinos," but never on persons accused of mental illness. One would think that police treat people accused of mental illness with respect and that they are often the cause of the criminal abuse they experience from polce and psychiatrists. Obama and Holder verify their racism and lack of concern for persons with disabilities who suffer egregious institutionalized criminal abuses by police, an example of "pattern and practice" abuses. This is more form over substance by Obama the King of Appearances.

"The change in setting is a metaphor for the change we must undergo as a state," Cuomo said. "We must reconnect with the people and rebuild a relationship of trust." (BRENDAN SCOTT, "Cuomo moves annual speech out of legislative chamber," New York Post, December 29, 2010) Cuomo indicates continued political posturing, offering more changes of form over substance. There is a medium called television (and internet streaming) which allows "the people" to see a Governor's speech.

Kirsten Powers' review of "Fingerprints of God," by Barbara Bradley Hagerty
appeared in the New York Post, May 17, 2009, page 30. Few discussions of God define what the speakers mean by the word God. Those arguments lead nowhere.

Powers asks "Can science prove that God exists?" Depending upon the
definition of the word it can. God's existence can be proven without
much discussion. It requires defining what you mean by God. Under
Benedict Spinoza's definition, God is substance, or everything in the
universe, all that exists including man.

If you think of everything that man does not control, like weather,
gravity and other natural events, that can be defined as God. Thus
when you see gravity work that proves that God exists e.g., man does
not control gravity.
