A Palestinian assailant broke into a home in a West Bank settlement early Thursday and stabbed a 13-year-old Jewish girl to death as she slept in bed, the latest in a nine-month wave of violence that had recently shown signs of tapering off.
The attacker, identified as a 17-year-old high school dropout, was fatally shot by security guards.
The Israeli military sealed off the entrances to a nearby village, the home of the attacker, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on both the Palestinian leadership and the international community to condemn the brutal assault.
“The horrifying murder of a young girl in her bed underscores the bloodlust and inhumanity of the incitement-driven terrorists that we are facing,” Netanyahu said after an emergency meeting with his defense minister. “The entire nation deeply identifies with the family’s pain and declares to the murderers: You will not break us.”I
The hospital identified the slain girl as Hallel Yaffa Ariel. She was a cousin of Uri Ariel, a Cabinet minister from the Jewish Home, a party affiliated with the West Bank settler movement. The minister later said Israel would make “every effort” to build up settlements in the West Bank.
The assaults were once near-daily occurrences, but have become less frequent in recent months, though they have not stopped altogether. On June 8, a pair of Palestinian gunmen killed four Israeli civilians in a popular Tel Aviv tourist district.
Israeli officials say the violence is the result of anti-Israeli incitement by Palestinian leaders and in Palestinian social media. Palestinian officials say the violence is the result of despair and hopelessness after two decades of failed peace efforts, and the lack of hope for gaining independence after nearly 50 years of Israeli occupation.
Israeli security forces have had a difficult time stopping the attackers, in large part because they have tended to be young “lone wolf” assailants, often in their teens or early 20s, acting on their own and not sent by organized militant groups.

Mohammed had dropped out of school and was working in a bakery. He said the family was surprised by Mohammed’s attack and speculated that the teen may have been spurred to action after the death of a cousin who was killed while attempting to ram Israelis in Kiryat Arba.

Residents of Kiryat Arba said Tarayreh had climbed over a fence surrounding the settlement and entered the community undetected. It was not immediately clear how he entered the home.
The military said private Israeli security guards at the settlement had fired at Tarayreh as he tried to flee the attack scene. One guard was stabbed before the assailant was killed, the army said.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas did not comment on the attack. He has spoken out against violence in the past, though Israeli officials say his apologies have been half-hearted and at times he has made comments amounting to incitement.
Abbas faced criticism earlier this month after he repeated an unsubstantiated claim of a plot by Israeli rabbis to call on Jews to poison Palestinian wells. He later disavowed his comments.

Gunmen dressed in dark suits have carried out a terror attack in Tel Aviv leaving at least four people dead.
Around six other people were wounded in the shocking shooting incident, which took place at the Max Brenner restaurant in the centre of the Israeli city.
One person, believed to be a four-year-old girl, was in critical condition, with Israeli police describing the shooting as an apparent attack aimed against Israelis.
Officials have confirmed that two gunmen were involved, with one attacker was captured while the other was reportedly wounded.
'The terrorists who carried out the attack... are cousins from the Hebron district,' police 

spokeswoman Luba Samri said in a statement.
Photographs from the scene have reportedly revealed the gunmen may have used homemade machine guns, known as a Carl Gustav gun.
Israeli police are understood to be looking for a third suspect, who is believed to have fled the scene.
Police said the wounded included those sitting at a coffee shop in the complex. The assailants' weapons had been retrieved by officers, they said.
The incident occurred in an area of trendy cafes and restaurants very close to the central military headquarters and Defence Ministry compound.
The attack was the first following in lull after almost daily street attacks by Palestinians against Israelis which began in October and lasted several months.
Spokeswoman Luba Samri said shooting was reported in two locations close to the popular open-air Sharona market.
Another spokeswoman, Meirav Lapidot, said initial reports showed there were 'at least two terrorists'. She said both were 'neutralised', which can mean either killed or detained.

Meital Sassi told Channel 10 TV she was out with her family celebrating her son's birthday when she heard shots and 'immediately understood it was a terror attack'.
'We ran like lightning with the baby and the stroller ... I yelled at people who didn't understand what was happening to run,' she said.

A spokesman for Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai quoted him as saying 'we will not be able to put a policeman on every street corner'.
'The lone assailant can appear from any corner,' he said. 'That is the reality with which we have to live.'
The city however said in a statement it was increasing security at schools and municipal buildings.
Violence since October has killed at least 207 Palestinians, 28 Israelis, two Americans, an Eritrean and a Sudanese.
Most of the Palestinians killed were carrying out knife, gun or car-ramming attacks, according to Israeli authorities.
Others were killed in clashes or by Israeli air strikes in the Gaza Strip.

Responsibility for that tweet might lie with AFP, whose breaking report, which Yahoo News linked to, used similar language. But while AFP has since updated its reporting to note that the shooting occurred at "a Tel Aviv bar and restaurant complex," Yahoo News seems to be sticking with the "Defense Ministry" spin. A subsequent tweet by the Yahoo account again described the attack as being "near Israel's defense ministry."

This time, though, Yahoo News did not link to an article that mentioned the defense ministry. Instead, it referred to an AP article correctly describing an attack "near a popular open-air market." Why, then, does Yahoo News continue suggest to its Twitter followers that the terrorists were targeting anything other than Israeli civilians?
It can always get worse, though. Russia Today initially claimed it the gunmen were Jewish:

Four people were killed and several others wounded in a coordinated terrorist assault on Tel Aviv’s Sarona Market Wednesday evening, in one of the deadliest attacks in the city since Palestinian violence erupted last October.
Tel Aviv Police head Asst.-Ch. Moshe Edri called the shooting a “serious terrorist attack,” saying that two terrorists came to the market and opened fire randomly at civilians. Eyewitnesses said that the terrorists were disguised as religious Jews and wore kippot.
Edri said the police did not have warnings of a terrorist attack at the site. He said police have increased deployments in the city but that school would be open on Thursday and people can keep their normal routine, though he also implored the public to exercise caution and to report suspicious persons.

The two attackers were relatives from Yata in the South Hebron Hills and were said to be in their twenties.
The Hebron area is a known Hamas stronghold.

On April 18 Abd al-Hamid Abu Spour, a 19 year old Palestinian Arab, destroyed two public transportation buses in Jerusalem. There were numerous injuries, two of whom remain hospitalized, one with severe burns. This was the first bus attack during the 7+ month long intifada being waged against Israelis, which has resulted in at least 34 deaths to date.
The one person killed in the attack was the perpetrator himself. All Palestinian factions welcomed the attack. In the eyes of many Muslims, dying while committing a terror attack means Abu Spour is a “shahid,” or martyr for Allah.

On Monday, a week after the attack, a gathering took place at the UNRWA refugee camp in Aida, near Bethlehem. The location has a huge monument of a lock and key, symbolizing the defiant goal that the Palestinian Arabs will one day root out the Jews and take over the land they believe belongs to them.
The “festivities of the martyrs” event took place under the aegis of UNRWA (United Nations Relief Works Agency). To think the official body representing the world’s community of nations is celebrating terrorism is bad enough. However, that is not the worst of it. The number 1 financial donor to UNRWA is the US, by far. The EU and UK are #2 and #3 in financial support. Their combined total represents over 50% of UNRWA’s donor support.

One might think a public event honoring terrorism sponsored by a branch of the United Nations would be widely covered by the media. Yet, when it comes to the Arab-Israeli conflict most of the world’s media seems to come under a spell of double standard. The abnormal becomes normal, the unacceptable turns into acceptable, and the victim is often seen as the bully.
There was virtually no media coverage of this publically supported terrorist-honoring event.

Regarding media coverage, Bedein sent out a press release to over 600 journalists throughout Israel, informing them of the UNRWA event honoring the terrorist. Incredibly he received a reply from only one. This yawn by the media is yet another disturbing reminder of the double standard Israel receives from most of the world.

The US provides the Palestinian Authority over $400 million annually. Concern about the Palestinian educational system is growing in Congress.
US taxpayers have an opportunity to send a strong message opposing their tax money being used to honor terrorists who target innocent citizens of America’s strongest ally in the Middle East. They can contact the members of the Middle East Subcommittee in the House of Representatives, as well as the Near East Subcommittee in the Senate.
There is no moral equivalence between terror and justice. It’s high time the UN stop making an exception when it comes to Israel.

Palestinian Muslims Continue Destroying Christian Churches

Hamas has destroyed the ruins of an 1800-year-old Byzantine church that was recently unearthed in Gaza City.

For Palestinian Christians, the destruction of the ancient Byzantine church ruins is yet a further attempt by Palestinian Muslim leaders to efface both Christian history and signs of any Christian presence in the West Bank and Gaza, under the Palestinian Authority (PA) and Hamas. A growing number of Christians feel they are being systematically targeted by both the PA and Hamas for being Christians.
Bulldozers were used to destroy some of the church artifacts; some Palestinian Christians accused both Hamas and the PA of copying ISIS tactics to demolish historic sites.
"Where are the heads of the churches in Jerusalem and the world?... Where are the Vatican and UNESCO? Where are the leaders and politicians who talk, talk, talk about national unity and the preservation of holy sites? Or is this a collective conspiracy to end our existence and history in the East?" — Sami Khalil, a Christian from the West Bank city of Nablus.
The plight of Palestinian Christians does not interest the international community. That is because Israel cannot be blamed for demolishing the antiquities. If the current policy against Christians persists, the day will come when no Christians will be left in Bethlehem.

The ruins of the 1800-year-old church were discovered in Palestine Square, in the Al-Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City, where Hamas is planning to build a shopping mall. The dramaticdiscovery of the antiquities did not seem to leave an impression on the construction workers, who removed artifacts and continued with their work at the site.
Defying belief, bulldozers were used to destroy some of the church artifacts, drawing sharp criticism from Palestinian Christians, some of whom rushed to accuse both Hamas and the Palestinian Authority (PA) of copying ISIS tactics to demolish historic sites.
For Palestinian Christians, the destruction of the church ruins is yet a further attempt by Palestinian Muslim leaders to efface both Christian history and signs of any Christian presence in the Palestinian territories.

Hamas claims that it does not have the resources to preserve the ancient site of the church. Preserving the Christian site, they say, would require millions of dollars and hundreds of workers at a time when the Islamist movement is facing a financial crisis due to the ongoing "blockade" on the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Authority, for its part, maintains that, as it is not in control of the Gaza Strip, the destruction of antiquities is out of its hands. Still, the PA leadership in the West Bank has not come out publicly against the demolition. This is the same PA that promotes a stabbing and car-ramming "intifada" for the Jews' "desecrating" the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem by touring the Temple Mount under police protection.

History of West Bank Reveals Palestinians Have No Legitimate Claim, Only Propaganda

March saw a return of economic warfare against Israel, masked in discontent with Israel’s “occupation” of “Palestine.”

What these economic and political warriors don’t seem to realize is that Israel is not occupying anything. There was never an Arab state known as Palestine. In fact, the Arabs have rejected multiple offers to establish such a state.
Before Jewish sovereignty was reestablished with the modern state of Israel in 1948, the (Turkish) Ottoman Empire ruled the Holy Land for approximately 400 years up until 1917. Following the defeat of the Ottoman Turks in World War I, the British and French administered it in a period of joint military administration (1917-1920). The San Remo Conference (1920) formally established the British Mandate of Palestine’s borders to encompass modern day Israel, Jordan, the Gaza Strip, and what is today often referred to as the West Bank.

Britain Created “Palestine” for the Jews…
The legal document that created the Mandate recognized the “historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine and to the grounds for reconstituting their national home” and called for “the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish People.” The document also obligated the British to “facilitate Jewish immigration” and “encourage…settlement by Jews on the land…” The British, with the approval of the League of Nations (the predecessor to the United Nations) took on the obligation to help Jewish immigration and settlement of the Mandate, which included the West Bank. Indeed, Jews lived in this area in historic (Hebron, today’s “East” Jerusalem, Nablus/Shechem) and new (Gush Etzion) communities during the Mandate period.
…And Then Gave 75% of it to the Arabs.
In 1922, Britain partitioned the British Mandate of Palestine into two separate mandates, Palestine (west of the Jordan River) and the Transjordan (east of the Jordan River). Transjordan eventually became sovereign Arab territory. Despite the partition, the land that is now known as the West Bank still remained within Palestine and was still slated to be included in a new home for the Jewish people.



The Arabs Rejected the West Bank Twice.
Arab leaders did not accept any further partitions. The Arabs rejected two offers (in 1937 from Britain and in 1947 from the United Nations) that would have established Arab independence from Jewish sovereignty west of the Jordan River, including the West Bank. The Jewish community in Palestine, on the other hand, accepted both of these offers. So, before Israel’s War of Independence (1947-1949), there was no Arab ownership of the West Bank, and no sovereign from which to occupy it.

Israel Had the Best Claim to the West Bank Before 1967.
An Arab state west of the Jordan River could not claim the West Bank; the Arabs made sure, in their rejections of 1937 and 1947, that no such state came into existence. The Arab state east of the Jordan River (Jordan) did not have a legitimate claim to the West Bank, and regardless relinquished all claims to it in 1988. So Israel, based on the original Mandate, confirmed by the League of Nations, had the most legitimate claim.
Israel Took the West Bank (Back) in Self-Defense.
While many see Israel’s taking of the West Bank in the Six-Day War (1967) as one of “occupation,” Israel was in fact re-claiming, in an act of self-defense, what was previously granted to the Jewish State under international law. So how could Israel “occupy” territory that was rightfully hers?
The Arabs Refused the West Bank Another Five Times.
Despite the Arabs losing military control over the West Bank in a war that they had initiated, Israel and the world continued to offer the Arabs sovereignty in at least some of it. True to form, the Arabs continued to reject these offers. Opportunities for Arab sovereignty in the West Bank were rebuffed in 1967 (the Khartoum Resolution), 1967-1968 (the Allon Plan), 2000 (Camp David), 2001 (Taba) and 2008 (Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s offer to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas). The latter two offers would have granted Arab sovereignty to roughly 95% of the West Bank.

So what does this mean? Israel is not occupying “Palestine” but is the legitimate heir to the British Mandate of Palestine. The West Bank is, at best, a disputed territory.

Palestinians At Brussels Memorial, Tear Up and Cover Up Israeli Flag With Palestinian Flag

Video emerged Thursday of a hijab-wearing woman tearing up an Israeli flag at a makeshift memorial for victims of the Brussels terror attacks.
French RTL television captured the disturbing images of the incident at the central Brussels landmark Place de la Bourse, The Jerusalem Post reported.
The woman is seen lifting a Palestinian flag and then ripping an Israeli flag to shreds.
She then hides the pieces under other flags and walks off.

In another video posted on Facebook, a man is seen removing a Palestinian flag from a pole and then using it to cover an Israeli flag on the ground at a memorial site.
Among those decrying the video was one who posted: “This is disgusting. I was going to ask why no one stops them, foolish question. There is no stopping these attacks now. We will see more and more of them.”

This is the shocking moment a woman removes an Israeli flag from a Brussels memorial and rips it up, before hiding the pieces away underneath another flag.
A French-language station captured the footage at the shrine set up at Brussels' Place de la Bourse.
During the clip, which is just over one minute long, a woman wearing a hijab, a brown coat and a scarf picks up a Palestinian flag from the candle-lit vigil and takes it over to an Israeli flag.
She bends down to pick up the blue and white Israeli flag and begins ripping it up, before placing the pieces beneath another flag, which looks as though it could be the symbol of Georgia.
The woman then walks off out of shot, with not one of the many onlookers approaching her to question her over her shocking actions.
It is unclear whether she has placed the Palestinian flag in the Israeli flag's place, however you can see that she is no longer carrying it when she walks away.
The French-language station does not refer to the women's actions and instead the discussion that can be heard is about the official memorial marches and ceremonies in Paris.
This shocking video is not the only time an Israeli flag has been tampered with at the memorial.
Another clip shows a man, wearing beige trousers, a black hooded jacket and gloves, walking into the middle of the candle-lit memorial.
He picks up a Palestinian flag and places it over the Israeli flag so it can no longer be seen. Once again, there are many onlookers but although some people can be heard saying 'no, no, no', nobody takes action.

Lack of Free Speech On Campuses Is Alarming

The disturbing campaign to suppress speech that is purportedly hurtful, unpleasant, or morally distasteful is a troubling and recurrent pattern of behavior by "progressive" leftists and "social justice" advocates from Muslim-led pro-Palestinian groups. Coalescing around the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, this unholy alliance has been formed in a libelous and vituperative campaign to demonize Israel, attack pro-Israel individuals, and promote a relentless campaign against Israel in the form of the boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) movement. As the ideological assault against Israel and Jews intensifies on university campuses, and pro-Israel individuals begin answering their ideological opponents, the student groups leading the pro-Palestinian charge (including such groups as the radical Students for Justice in Palestine [SJP]) have decided that their tactic of unrelenting demonization of Israel is insufficient, and the best way to optimize the propaganda effect of their anti-Israel message is also to suppress or obscure opposing views.

For instance, a leaked memorandum from the Binghamton University Students for Justice in Palestine chapter revealed that members would be required never even to engage in dialogue with pro-Israel groups on their campus. They would be prohibited from "engaging in any form of official collaboration, cooperation, or event co-sponsorship with [pro-Israel] student organizations and groups." And SJP members "shall in no manner engage in any form of official collaboration with any student group which actively opposes the cause of Palestinian liberation nor with groups which have aided and abetted Zionist student organizations" – meaning, of course, that the so-called intellectual debate that universities purport to promote in exactly this type of discussion will never take place when SJP is involved.
Because they cannot win an honest, open ideological debate about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict – because they deal almost exclusively in misrepresentations and untruths (the allegation of Israeli apartheid being the central example) – SJP has characteristically has tried to insure that no pro-Israel voices are heard, by either disrupting and shutting down pro-Israel events and speakers or urging administrators to disinvite speakers they deem Islamophobic, too pro-Israel, or critical of their own tactics and activism.
The thuggish substitution of event disruption and the shutting down of other people's speech for what is supposed to be two-sided academic dialogue and debate occur with increased regularity. These methods mark another, more pernicious, aspect of the campus campaign against Israel, Zionism, and Jews.



At the University of California, Davis this month, for example, George Deek, a Jaffa-born Arab Christian, planned to give a speech entitled "The Art of Middle East Diplomacy" when some 30 pro-Palestinian activists stood up and blocked Deek with banners and took over the event by screaming, "From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free" – meaning an Arab state in place of present-day Israel – and chanting such toxic ditties as "long live the Intifada," "Allahu Akbar," and "When Palestine is occupied, resistance is justified." These activists further employed ghoulish calls for the murder of Jews and "Israel is anti-Black" and "Palestine will be free, fight white supremacy" – an intellectually clumsy way of trying to frame Israel as a racist state.
In February, Bassam Eid, a Palestinian himself and the founder of the Palestinian Human Rights Monitoring Group, witnessed how nothing positive said about Israel is allowed to be heard, even from such a credible, though unusual, source as a Palestinian. During his speech, in which he was critical of Hamas and the Palestinian Authority for their failure to seek peace, Eid was verbally attacked by a student attendee, who said in Arabic, "Dr. Bassam, do not dare talk about us [Palestinians] anymore. You have shamed our God … you've shamed us, disgraced us, you are a traitor, you are a traitor, in the name of God you are a traitor. … You are worse than the Jews and we will hunt you down and find you in every place. Be prepared." When it became obvious that his speech would not be able to continue uninterrupted, Eid cancelled the event and had to be escorted off site by the police.

A pro-Israel student group at Columbia University, Artists 4 Israel, was also denied the opportunity to express views during Israeli Apartheid Week, during which the SJP chapter had erected its version of a mock "apartheid wall," emblazoned with anti-Israel slogans and symbols. To counter the display with a pro-Israel one, Artists 4 Israel had set up a 15-foot inflatable figure, a "pro-Israel Pinocchio," replete with a long nose and a sign that read "'Apartheid' Week Compassion Abuse" as an effective, sardonic swipe at SJP's toxic campaign. The chair and vice chair of Columbia's student government, who not coincidentally are members of Columbia's SJP chapter and pro-BDS activists, ordered the removal of the Pinocchio figure, offering the disingenuous justification that Pinocchio's long nose might be construed as anti-Semitic and that the pump used to inflate the figure was too loud for use on the Columbia grounds.
The university officials and student groups who now try to suppress all thought of which they disapprove have sacrificed one of the core values for which the university exists. In their zeal to be inclusive, and to recognize the needs and aspirations of victim groups, they have pretended to foster inquiry, but they have actually stifled and retarded it. As this otherwise noble purpose for the university has devolved, the first victim in the corruption of academic free speech, unfortunately, has been the truth.

West Point Graduate Killed, Many Israelis Attacked In Israel By Palestinian Terrorists. White House Has No Comment

The American student who was stabbed to death by a Palestinian terrorist on a knife rampage in Israel was a veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Taylor Allen Force, 28, of Lubbock, Texas, was attacked along a boardwalk near a beach in the Jaffa area of Tel Aviv that is popular with tourists.
Force, an MBA student at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management, died during a school-sponsored trip to learn about startup companies overseas.
Force graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and served in the Army from 2009 to 2014, according to his LinkedIn page.

He had been based at Fort Hood, Texas, as a platoon leader and fire support officer, among other duties.
At West Point, Force was a member of the ski team and received a bachelor's degree in engineering and industrial management.

The attacker, identified as Bashar Masalha, 22, from the West Bank settlement of Qalqilyah, was shot dead by police.
A dozen Isrealis, civilians and police officers were wounded in a series of knife and gun attacks that authorities in Tel Aviv said were carried out by Palestinians.

Along with Masalha, three other Palestinian assailants were shot and killed in the day's rash of violence - the latest in a wave of near-daily Palestinian assaults on Israeli civilians and security forces that erupted in September last year.
Police say Masalha stabbed several people close to the marina in Jaffa, Tel Aviv, before running towards the Manta Ray restaurant on the seaside promenade, stabbing more victims.
Masalha then fled towards the center of Tel Aviv, stabbing motorists as he ran, police said.
'A terrorist, an illegal resident who came from somewhere in the Palestinian territories, came here to Jaffa and embarked on a run ... along the boardwalk. On his way he indiscriminately stabbed people,' Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai told Army Radio.
One of the people who was seriously injured during the attacks is a pregnant woman while another is a Russian tourist, the Jerusalem Post, citing Israel's Channel 2.
Shocking video of part of the attack, uploaded to YouTube, shows a man believed to be Masalha running along a darkened street into oncoming traffic.
As cars slow down, he can be seen running up to several of the vehicles and apparently stabbing the occupants before carrying on up the road.
Yosef, a witness who spoke to Ynet, said: 'The terrorist, young with a sweatshirt, came from the direction of the Jaffa port.
'At the promenade's plaza he jumped on a couple of tourists. A woman was stabbed several times, tried to get away and collapsed. He continued stabbing a man and another younger guy in the leg.
'I was in my car. I ran out, grabbed a metal bar and hit him on the back. He tried to stab me and then fled.'

According to social media, Masalha is a graduate from Damascus University in Syria who is in a relationship with an unknown partner.
Posts on his Facebook page reveal that he has recently returned from the pilgrimage to Mecca.

Police Commissioner Roni Alsheikh told Ynet: 'There was a wave of three attacks [in Jaffa, Petah Tikva and Jerusalem on Tuesday] that had no connection between them. All the incidents are over.
'Our goal is to return the situation to routine as quickly as possible. We will seek to understand if there is anything new we need to take into account... and we will update the public.'
According to the Israeli National News, the attacker came from the city of Qalqilya in the West Bank, but did not give a source for this information.

They were the latest acts of bloodshed in more than five months of near-daily Palestinian violence that shows no sign of abating.

A short while before that, a Palestinian stabbed an Israeli in the neck at a store in the central city of Petah Tikvah.
The Times of Israel reports that a 35-year-old man was attacked inside a wine shop and was stabbed several times in the upper body.
At one point, he is said to have pulled the attacker's knife out of his own neck before turning it on the man, killing him.
Images from the scene show a blood-covered knife about four to six inches in length. Miraculously the victim was only moderately wounded.
Earlier in the day, a Palestinian woman who tried to stab Israeli security forces was shot and killed by officers, also in Jerusalem's Old City, Israeli police said.
It was the latest in a wave of Palestinian attacks that have killed 28 Israelis, mostly in shootings, stabbings and assaults with cars. At least 174 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire during that time. Most of them were attackers and the rest were killed in clashes, Israel says.

The authors are veteran diplomats with over 200 years of collective experience and, supposedly, a broad knowledge of history, law, and politics.
And yet, should we laugh at this torrent of insanity or cry at the degenerate state of French political postures, divorced from rational thought, built on an inverted sense of justice and distorted legal and historical facts?

The persistent pattern of condemnation of Israel, in total disregard of the provisions of international law, is nothing new. In the aftermath of the Mavi Marmara incident of May 2010, virtually the whole world found Israel guilty before proven guilty. The United Nations and its agencies; the European Union and most of its member-states (with the welcome exception of the Czech Republic); the media at large; and, it goes without saying, the whole Arab/Muslim world found Israel in breach of international law following the boarding of the Turkish vessel. But when the U.N. released its final report in September 2011, and Israel was largely exonerated on the grounds that it "complied with the requirements of international law," we heard no retraction from the horde of accusers.

But we should remember that among Western nations, French institutions are often the most sluggish in recognizing their past mistakes. It took almost a century for the French military establishment to publicly admit, on September 7, 1995, that there was indeed a "military conspiracy" against Captain Alfred Dreyfus.

How so? It has been the policy of the US and others to condemn the “settlements” and the “occupation” as the main obstacles to achieving peace with the Palestinians. For those who subscribe to said view, where were the occupation or settlements in 1948 or 1967? They did not exist.

The Palestinians flatly refuse to accept the right of Israel to exist. The charters of the PLO, Hamas, and Mahmoud Abbas’s own party Fatah, all require its destruction. Is the US devoting as much attention to combatting this as they are about condemning ‘settlements?’ Absolutely not. Abbas has repeatedly said he will never recognize Israel as a Jewish state. Israeli leadership has consistently committed to recognizing a ‘Palestinian’ state, yet is the US applying pressure on him to recognize Israel? Again, no.
Another issue is money.
The US and others believe if there is measurable improvement in the overall economic environment of the Palestinians it would reduce their “frustration,” which many believe motivates their terror against Israelis.

The responsibility of the economic plight of the Palestinians belongs to their own leadership.
When Yasser Arafat formed the Palestinian Authority in 1994 he promised new hospitals, clinics, educational institutions and improvement to the general infrastructure. He also promised greater employment opportunities. However, instead of delivering on his promises he took complete control of all media, as well as the flow of money. None of the promised improvements took place.

He and his cronies systematically stole huge sums of money, while the average ‘Arabstinian’ remained in abject poverty, which is still the case today under Mahmoud Abbas.

Here are some rather incredible facts:
Since formation of the Palestinian Authority it has received over $31 billion in foreign aid. In 2014 alone they received well over $2 billion. Of that amount the US provides the most, by far- roughly $400 million, followed by the European Commission ($140 million), Saudi Arabia ($103 million) the UK ($95 million), etc. [see chart] The Palestinians have received more money than any other group of people in human history. In fact “if you take into account historic inflation, the PA has received 15 times more money than the US gave all of Europe under the Marshall Plan after WWll,” according to Calev Myers of the Jerusalem Institute of Justice who has studied this extensively.
With respect to Arafat, while the average ‘Arabstinian’ suffered, his wife Suha who lived in Paris received $200,000 per month from him. She also is alleged to have received numerous bulk payments, one of which was $11 million according to reports. Where did this money come from? More important, what happened with the vast amount of international aid given to the PA?
When Arafat died in 2004 an investigation showed he had $1 billion stashed away in Swiss bank accounts. Plus, he supposedly was in control of up to $6 billion in assets. His widow negotiated a rather tidy settlement before pointing investigators toward Arafat’s hidden assets. Rumor is she collected as much as $40 million.



Since then, the tradition of corruption has been well maintained by Arafat’s successor Mahmoud Abbas, whose personal wealth is said to be $1 billion. He is currently constructing a $13 million mansion for himself.
In reality the economic well-being of the Palestinians has long been in their own hands. However, their leadership has literally stolen it. Meanwhile, the world does nothing, and the money keeps lining the pockets of corrupt leaders.
As for the Arabstinian health care system, it remains so under developed many of them in desperation come to Israel for needed care. Indeed, in 2014 when tensions were extremely high due to the disappearance of three Jewish teens, who were later found murdered, Abbas’s wife was having surgery in an Israeli hospital. Plus, in the midst of the current spate of terror, which Abbas has fueled with hateful rhetoric, his brother-in-law had life-saving surgery in Israel. Israel even treated the granddaughter of Ismael Haniyeh, Hamas’s leader in the Gaza Strip.

Approximately 16% of their total budget is designated to reward terrorists and their families. This is done under what is called The Law of the Prisoner.”
Here’s how it works:
If an ‘Arabstinian’ commits a crime against an Israeli and is imprisoned he becomes eligible to earn a large monthly income. It can be as much as $3,500, ($42,000 annually) which is five times greater than the average ‘Arabstinian’ earns. The more heinous the crime, the higher the stipend.

Given the current state of affairs, what should the US do?

At the end of the day the effort of the US to appear balanced by maintaining the status quo is not only failing to move the peace process forward, it is actually perpetuating an environment which will never produce peace.
What is needed is for world leaders, especially the US to stand up to the Arabs and stop trying to persuade Israel to further compromise its security by rewarding those who uncompromisingly seek its destruction with land and money.

It takes a global village to kill a Israelis. The recipe is well known. Begin with the lie that Islam is the religion of peace. Take U.N. (that is, U.S.) money and hire jihadis to teach small children Jews should all be killed. And most significantly, he does not say that Facebook will do everything possible to stop jihadis from using Facebook to incite and organize murder. In the lead-up to the last election, after complaints from the Obama campaign Facebook removed this posting about Benghazi from a Navy SEAL’s Facebook page (hat tip Eric Wemple): “Obama called the SEALS and THEY got bin Laden. When the SEALs called Obama, THEY GOT DENIED.” It was removed three times before Facebook admitted they had no right to remove political speech.

Facebook Joins Journalists Slanting Publishing Standards

On December 28, the ILC opened two inciting Facebook pages that mirrored each other in sentiment with just one difference between them. One page was against Palestinians, and the other page was against Israelis/Jews. The next day, the ILC started to simultaneously upload inciting posts, with the only difference between them being the target of the incitement.
After several posts, the ILC increased the level of incitement, calling for death to Jews on one page and death to Arabs on the other. They continued to upload incendiary posts simultaneously on each page, with identical verbiage except for the targets.
Then ILC reported both pages to Facebook.

The result?
Facebook closed the anti-Palestinian page, writing: “We reviewed the page you reported for containing credible threat of violence and found it violates our Community Standards.” The page inciting violence against Jews was not closed by Facebook, who stated that it was not in violation of their rules.

Israel Kills Convicted Terrorist Released In Exchange For Bodies Of Israeli Soldiers

Samir Quntar, one of the most odious men on the planet, was blown to bits by the Israeli air force on Sunday in Damascus, Syria. We ought to cheer this development, and the Israeli airmen who braved advanced Russian antiaircraft missile systems to reach him (though whether the systems were active or not is unknown.) However, the fact that Quntar was alive and living free in Syria is very troubling.

at the age of 16, he led a four-man Palestinian terror team (all the other participants were older) that infiltrated the northern Israeli town of Nahariya by boat. The heavily-armed terrorists killed a policeman and attacked an apartment building

Quntar seized Danny and Einat and fled to the beach with the other members of his terror team. There they were stopped by Israeli soldiers and police who shot and killed a second terrorist. Quntar shot Danny Haran dead in front of his daughter, and then smashed the young girl’s head against the rocky beach with the butt of his rifle, killing her too. Then he and the other surviving terrorist, Ahmed Assad Abras, surrendered.

Israel doesn’t execute terrorists, no matter how vicious, and so Quntar and Abras were sentenced to four life sentences each, but that was meaningless. In 1985 Israel released Abras, along with more than 1000 other militants and terrorists as part of a controversial prisoner swap for three soldiers captured during the First Lebanon War. In 2008 Israel released Quntar and another great gaggle of militants and terrorists in a swap with Hizb’allah, in return for the bodies of two Israeli reservists killed at the outset of the Second Lebanon War.

Quntar returned to Lebanon and was celebrated as a hero. He returned to a life of terror, and actively and effectively organized terror gangs on the Golan Heights.

The refusal of Western nations like Israel and the United States to promptly and justifiably execute convicted terrorists is a security and moral outrage. By keeping these cruel unrepentant criminals alive, we not only devalue the lives of the people they kill or injure, but incentivize other terrorists to free them in hostage swaps.

There is nothing moral about allowing coldblooded murderers like to Samir Quntar to live on unrepentantly in jail, or even worse, freeing them, especially in return for dead bodies. I’m glad that he is finally dead, but it is a moral disgrace that it did not occur 36 year ago.

We plan to release the film this spring and we need your help to create a national campaign to pressure universities to grant Jewish and pro-Israel students the protection from harassment and intimidation that is afforded every other group.

There is a crisis on campus, enabled by a failure of leadership in our universities dominated by radical academics, Saudi funding and now organized mobs. The increasing ideological assaults against Israel and its supporters on campus must not be tolerated. We need to educate the public about these growing threats which too many prefer to ignore.

For the sake of America, the Jewish community and for our children and grandchildren, we must do everything we can to stop this growing fascist movement.

New York Times Cover-up: Palestinian President Funded Munich 1972 Olympic Attack Which Killed 11 Israeli Athletes

The Times published an article updating a particularly shocking and heinous act: the Palestinian-Arab attack on Israeli athletes, coaches, and referees at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany.
The widow of one of the slain Olympians has offered new and particularly gruesome revelations about the attack based on information supplied by German authorities: all of the Israelis were beaten by their captors, and at least one of the Israelis murdered in the Olympic Village was tortured and his genitals mutilated by the Palestinian-Arabs. There is photographic evidence of the mutilation.

Abbas – who today is simultaneously the president of the Palestinian Authority, chairman of the PLO (the P.A.’s dominant group), and chairman of Fatah (the PLO’s largest faction) – financed the attack. One would think that such a fact deserves at least a mention, if not a full paragraph. One would think.
Some background: In 1972, Abbas was a member of the Central Committee of the Fatah movement and served on the Palestine National Council and the PLO Executive Committee. These were terrorists, after all. Abbas had to have known that the money was not going to be used to line the boulevards of Ramallah and Jenin with flowers.
Abbas is also known by his nom de guerre: Abu Mazen.

The terrorists took the Israeli hostages to an airport, where together they were to fly to Cairo. An attempt by German authorities to rescue the Israelis was botched, and all of the Israelis were killed, as were a German policeman and some of the terrorists.
The New York Times might not think that Abbas’s role in this savagery and stain on the Olympics is fit to print or note online, but we do.

Palestinian Terror Attacks On Israelis Continue

Shocking footage shows the moment a knife-wielding 'terrorist' (circled) was shot dead by an Israeli soldier after three people were wounded by the attacker in the streets of Jerusalem.

A Palestinian attacker has been shot dead after stabbing an Israeli in the West Bank just hours after a knife-wielding 'terrorist' went on the rampage.
Dramatic footage has emerged showing a 21-year-old man walking towards a soldier before he falls to the ground amid gun fire.
The shooting in Jerusalem came after police said three people were 'lightly wounded' by the attacker.
In a separate confrontation just hours later, officers said a Palestinian man stabbed and critically wounded an Israeli in the West Bank city of Hebron before being shot dead by security forces.

'The terrorist, apparently a 21-year-old resident of east Jerusalem, was killed by the gunfire,' the statement said.
Emergency services evacuated two of the injured to hospital for treatment. The third did not require medical attention.
In the Hebron attack, paramilitary border police fatally shot the assailant after he stabbed an Israeli man several times in the upper body, a police spokeswoman said.
The wounded man was taken to hospital in Jerusalem in critical condition, medical officials said.
The attacks are the latest in more than two months of 'lone wolf' assaults by Palestinians challenging Israel's control over the occupied West Bank and east Jerusalem.

Israel says the current spate of violence is due to incitement by Palestinian leaders over the Jerusalem holy site as well as videos encouraging violence spread on social media.
Palestinians are frustrated by the failure of decades of peace talks and the ongoing occupation of the West Bank and east Jerusalem, and many have also lost faith in their political leadership.

Misguided Double Standard For Politicians and Israel

Great piece of propaganda. Outrage over MA state legislators traveling to Israel. But silence about City Councilors traveling under same legal gifts to other countries. Suggesting that state officials learn the legal system of Israel before going, is like Obama learning the legal system of indonesia or even France before going there. Oh, wait. He didn't do it. Israel and the letter writer cannot be believed but international sources can? The New York Times and the Boston Globe publish propaganda like this letter regularly. Are Israelis killing people because they are not Jewish? Non Jews can vote and hold office in Israel, a democracy. What is the situation in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Turkey, and Gaza? Under what system of international law is there such a thing as Palestinian land?
