Psychiatry Violates Constitutionally Guraranteed Rights

Who in this world ought to have the right to make decisions about their lives, and who is required to lose that right and have the medical community and the courts take over?
Despite the fact that no one in history, not even the omnipotent American Psychiatric Association -- which produces and profits mightily from the "Bible" of mental disorders — has come up with a halfway good definition of "mental illness," and despite the fact that the process of creating and applying the labels of mental illness is unscientific, any of those labels can be used to deprive the person so labeled of their human rights. This is terrifying. It ought to terrify those who are so labeled and those who are not, because deprivation of human rights on totally arbitrary grounds is inhumane and immoral.

In other words, the huge leap is often made from "This person has a psychiatric label" to "This person is therefore dangerous to themselves and others," even in the absence of any history or current indication of such dangerousness, and that leap is then used to lock people up and/or otherwise "treat" them against their will.

Now the United Nations human rights treaty called the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities includes the absolute prohibition of forced commitment and forced treatment, [. . .] 162 nations have ratified the CRPD, but the U.S. has not.[. . .]
If no harm came from being classified as mentally ill, there would be less cause for alarm. But it is easy, even likely, for laypeople, therapists and other healthcare professionals, and judges to assume wrongly that having a disability (even a perceived disability) means that one's judgment is impaired and that one should not be allowed to make choices about their lives, their bodies, and the treatments to which they will be subjected.

A fourth crucial myth is that forced commitment and forced treatment are beneficial (and, by implication, not harmful). That this is a myth is reflected in the high rates of suicide that follow inpatient treatment and the increased rates of suicide caused by many psychiatric drugs, as well as the plummeting rates of recovery and increased rates of longterm disability that have followed the introduction of various psychiatric drugs into the market and the use of electroshock.

The complaints were filed pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, according to which people can be discriminated against by being treated as though they are disabled (mentally ill in these cases) when in fact they are not. [HUH?????]

Three California correctional deputies were arrested on suspicion of murder in the death of an inmate at a county jail, sheriff's officials said Thursday.
Santa Clara County sheriff's spokesman Sgt. James Jensen said the deputies were in custody in connection with a death that happened late last week.
The San Jose Mercury News identified the correctional officers as Matthew Farris, 27, Jereh Lubrin, 28, and Rafael Rodriguez, 27.

The officers were being held in custody without bail.
The maximum-security inmate - identified as 31-year-old Michael James Tyree - died in his sixth-story cell after a routine check-in around midnight August 27.
He had recently pleaded no contest to petty theft, the San Jose Mercury News reported.

The Mercury News reported that he suffered major internal bleeding.
NBC Bay Area quoted a source claiming Tyree suffered wounds consistent with a blunt force beating.
Blunt force can be caused by an object or a hand or foot.
There were also reported of lacerations to his liver and spleen.

Tyree suffered from mental illness and had been arrested several times before, including possession of methamphetamine while loitering outside a church one year ago, KGO TV reported.
The three officers that were arrested have all worked at the jail less than three years.
On Thursday afternoon following the arrests, Santa Clara County Sheriff Laurie Smith apologized to Tyree's family and said 'the disappointment and disgust I feel cannot be overstated.'
Sgt. Jensen the sheriff's office planned to hold a news conference Thursday afternoon.
Tyree previously lived in Florida and his family are based in Louisiana, NBC reported.

For the past 27 years I lived in the late state of Massachusetts. First came to Massachusetts in 1970, 45 years ago to attend law school. But for much of the time police, crime families, Communists and FBI informants from New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island, Florida, Maryland, California, and other states controlled my life. At present I live under the oppression of criminals in and out of government from Rhode Island.

 

These same groups this week threaten me, "You're going to New Hampshire." Or "They have you in New Hampshire. " How can that be? Am I living in a dream world thinking I live in Massachusetts? Has Cambridge and Harvard University moved to New Hampshire? It is how these criminals kept me isolated for over 45 years. They bring in new people who do not know me and begin with police and psychiatrists for testing of the police and the FBI's long list of allegations in their false police files. I used to wonder how they were able to keep me surrounded by people who do not know me and who treat me as if I was a violent criminal, a dangerous mental patient, terror suspect or whatever. Now I understand how they did it for so many years.



It explains why FBI agents and police recently treated me as if I was all of the above within one week. I've been going to the Lesley University campus for over 25 years. Art gallery receptions, lectures, dance performances. I knew their PR flacks, Presidents, Vice presidents and some of the other bureaucrats. I met almost all of the reference librarians and circulation desk employees. But on Monday, August 17, 2015 when I went to the library I encountered a uniformed campus police officer, a black woman I never saw before.



She asked me "Are you a staff member or an alumni of Lesley?" She told me I needed to show her a picture ID to use the library. It is a hate crime to require a picture ID to vote. But to use a library it is a requirement. Aha, priorities. Are terrorists targeting libraries now? I know ISIS is destroying historical buildings in Syria. But in the United States? She added, "You must sign your name and explain why you want to use the library." Hello police state. This is what Harvard University has been doing for decades. People think the information at Harvard University is better than at other libraries. I never understood why people wanted to use Harvard libraries. They are filled with the same arrogant elitists who prey on lesser humans. Who needs that?



Nonetheless I got looks as if I was all of the above feared categories at the same time. One policeman actually said to me, "How you doing." as If I was his pal. When I went to a branch library of the Cambridge public library system there were two men who I never saw before. Both were observing me pretending not to notice me. When I went to a public library in a nearby town, I was surrounded by dozens of police employees. Where were they from? They were members of a new group of police and psychiatrists testing me to "see what he does." That is what the recent entries to my apartment were about. They put psychiatric drugs in my food. Broke a medical device I use daily. Broke one of my video tape machines and more. Who keeps track to know what was damaged or stolen when you leave your apartment? But this is what the police do to me every day when a new group, team, takes over the harassment and surveillance.



They test by provoking me. They drug me. They slander me again and again and again. For 45 years and it is still going on. It is called misguided government priorities. Keep in mind that for 15 years the FBI used me to fight organized crime and did not pay me one cent. That was after government psychiatrists drugged me for 80 consecutive days using hallucinogens. They thought I was a spy. In my impaired state the FBI scared me and then used me as bait for crime families. Charming government agency created by statute.

 

The FBI is not mentioned in the constitution but usurped inalienable rights which are guaranteed by the US Constitution. Politicians cower in fear of losing their jobs. I know why Cambridge City Councilors hire consultants to make decisions for them. They are focused only on getting re-elected. Actually making decisions takes time. Don't want to offend any potential contributors.

I learned that the latest group of police and FBI associates of the California crime Syndicate do not believe what I report about my life of 45 years of government abuses. It is possible that they know what I say is true but deny they believe it, as part of character assassination saying "He's crazy." In any case it is what they do, because they say they do not believe what I say. They "know" better than I do, because, well because that is what criminals, police and the FBI tells them is true. They believe what the FBI and criminals say, but do not believe what I say. At least that is what they say. So in order to show me what they believe, they harass me, they attack me and try to cause me to have a heart attack or stroke. They punish me because they do not believe what I say. Huh? And what if what they say is true, and what I say is not. Under what system of morality, law, regulations, crime family association rules, do you punish a person for what they believe? Are these omniscient persons now punishing thought crimes? Think about what these people did to me on Friday August 21, 2015. I am 70 years old, after 45 years of extreme criminal abuses. Or as they believe, "He's crazy." crazy for 45 years and they come to punish me for what I believe. If I were crazy what difference does it make what I believe? Is that how medieval priests used to beat people who refused to admit the "truth?" That is how the Inquisition acted. They beat people because they refused to admit they were witches, until they admitted their sins and even if they died these inquisitors said they saved their souls. Is that what these modern day inquisitors do to me, did to me last week?

Surrounded by hateful and hostile people, who do not know me. They act as if I just arrived on earth from Alpha Centauri, with horns, fangs and breathing fire. That is bad enough for civilians to react to someone like that. But add to it paranoid police, and control freaks who are motivated by fear and the desire to control others. Conformists, who tolerate no non conformity. And worse they lack wisdom and knowledge especially of human nature. If they were aware of their lack of knowledge and wisdom it would not be so bad. But they think they are the smartest guy in the room and omniscient. That is what the underlying problem is, making it especially egregious.

Underlying Torrey's arguments is the false premise that mental illness causes crime. There is no causal connection between made up illnesses with no pathology and crime. The decision where to incarcerate persons charged with crime and/or convicted is with the judge. It should not be in the hands of psychiatrists who remain clueless about due process protections and individual rights. Psychiatry is a means of social control with no due process protections, personal opinion masquerading as science. Psychiatrists believe their genes have been cleansed of mendacity, greed and sadism. They claim omniscience and moral superiority. Emotions, protected speech and behavior becomes mental illness requiring loss of freedom. Torrey is especially offensive advocating forced drug treatment. He says mental illness causes homelessness. More likely homelessness causes eccentric speech and behavior. Besides Torrey's propaganda promoting taxpayer funded forced drug treatment, when will psychiatric critics be given space to counter this propaganda, e.g., Peter Breggin, Fred Baughman, Robert Whitaker.

Mexican Family Of Woman Who Miscarried Mutilates Attending Doctor

The doctor is rescued by police after she was tortured and left for dead after being snatched from the hospital where she works.

The relatives of a woman who gave birth to a stillborn baby are believed to have mutilated the Mexican gynaecologist who delivered the child in a revenge attack.
The doctor, known as Dr M, was drugged, taken to her own home where two of her fingers were cut off before she was butchered by her attackers in an attempt to hack out her ovaries and womb.
The shocking incident began when the medic was snatched as she left the hospital where she worked in the city of Zamora, in the Mexican state of Michaocan de Ocampo.
The 30-year-old had just finished a night shift on a maternity ward and police believe the attack is linked to the death of a baby boy who died during birth complications three weeks earlier.
However, the mother of the baby and members of her family are currently missing.
Police spokesman Ulpio Fonseca said: 'She was forced to take muscle relaxant drugs which made it impossible for her to fight back.
'Then she was tortured and mutilated in her own home for several hours by people we believe are related to a former patient.
'She had severe injuries and nearly bled to death.

Washington DC police shot dead a second black American citizen with a disability within three weeks. Both victims allegedly had a history of mental illness. One was a criminal shooting at people and killing government employees who did him no harm. The second shooting victim was a troubled mother who had her one-year-old daughter in her car when she was shot dead by police. ABC News reported she stopped taking her psychiatric drugs. This is a repeating pattern of erratic behavior happening when harmless civilians stop taking the toxic chemicals pushed by drug companies and their venal enablers, the psychiatric industry. The woman had no history of violence. The first police shooting victim had a violent criminal history. But they were treated the same due to the pervasive negative stereotype of persons with disabilities. The Connecticut woman said things that psychiatrists did not like and/or did not understand. What she said was protected speech whether it made any sense or not. Psychiatrists with the police power of the state forced her to take toxic chemicals to stop her inappropriate speech.

Police, the courts, politicians and journalists demonize persons who are accused of mental illness. The psychiatric industry makes up illnesses as fast as they can get an insurance billing number for the DSM. The illnesses are not based on science, but created by consensus. After one hundred years of major media propaganda this fake product industry milks taxpayers for billions each year, abusing humans who have problems. They are treated like criminals and used as fodder for the criminal justice industry and the human services industrial complex.  
Both of these shooting victims were described by journalists as delusional. If you apply the standards used for that designation to ordinary citizens and especially journalists and politicians you may find that a large majority of US residents are delusional. Beginning with the highest ranking politicians in Washington DC the majority leader of the US Senate makes ridiculous claims. Is he intentionally lying to deceive voters? Or is he delusional? Next is the leader of the formerly free world, who makes the same kind of irrational claims with no basis in fact. Is he intentionally lying along with the majority leader? Or is he too delusional? Are the many ordinary voters who believe what these gentle men say, delusional too? As Winston Churchill observed "The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter."

Is the issue more properly crime, not delusions? If saying inane things with no factual basis were reason to shoot humans dead, most of the US Congress and state legislatures would be police targets. When will police be trained to stop killing law abiding disabled persons? When will they begin targeting violent criminals?

The woman who led police on a high-speed chase near the U.S. Capitol before being shot dead had a history of mental illness and believed President Obama was electronically monitoring her Connecticut home in order to broadcast her life on television, sources said.
Sources told ABC News that Connecticut police had twice in 2012 been called by Miriam Carey's boyfriend, who reported the woman was delusional, acting irrationally and putting her infant daughter in danger.

Coulter's argument conflicts with the Fourth Amendment. What part of taking liberty without due process does she support? Why is the criminal law standard of mens rea and actus reus not applicable to persons accused of mental illness? Coulter wants to imprison persons for status crimes, and for offensive protected speech. Torrey promotes forced drugging for all persons accused of mental illness. He is spokesman for the psychiatric industry. Blaming liberals for mass murders is as irrational as blaming guns. Like Torrey and many liberals too, Coulter cannot separate crime from psychiatry. She ridicules conduct and speech which she does not like. Is she unaware of what liberals think of her speech? Speech and behavior that psychiatrists do not like or do not understand is declared mental illness. Having a human emotion is mental illness. For Michael Savage liberalism is a mental disorder. For Harvard University's neurologist Allan Counter, being called a racist is a mental illness. Psychiatry is arbitrary personal opinion masquerading as science. What is it about psychiatry that makes ordinarily rational skeptics blind believers? Coulter questions everything to find the kernel of truth. Why is she so accepting of the mumbo jumbo that is psychiatry? It is like law, a system of social control, but lacking due process protections. Hitler and Stalin put undesirable people in jail or mental hospitals after taking their guns. Coulter and Torrey want to do the same but let some people keep their guns. The issue is due process and liberty. Something that Coulter supports on occasion.

Essay Promotes Economic Benefits for Drug Companies, Not a Safer Society

Jaffe claims his think tank is "unbiased." But he lists his close association with the Alliance for Mental Illness a drug company front lobbying organization that promotes drug treatment. Drug companies provide about $3 million each year to NAMI to promote drug treatment which is a known cause of violence and suicide. Jaffe boasts of strong support for E. Fuller Torrey whose zealous love for psychiatry includes forced treatment for all persons accused of mental illness. Torrey believes all persons accused of mental illness are dangerous and need to be forceably drugged. Jaffe and his drug company thugs promote denying freedom to citizens and increased government control over humans. The criminal justice system provides enough jurisdiction, for criminals like Curtis Forteau. Jaffe calls for arbitrary abuse of police powers by misguided psychiatrists and psychologists. More psychiatry in the criminal justice system will only corrupt it further. Jaffe argues for economic benefits for drug companies, not a safer society.

"In one of the Bill Bigley cases, I took the deposition (PDf pages 34-37) of the hospital psychiatrist about her use of “emergency” medication, which makes clear that (a) she didn’t know what the legal requirements were and (b) Mr. Bigley was being drugged for non-existent emergencies.

Psychiatrists seldom know the laws which allow them to take a person’s freedom or to force them to take drugs. The bigger issue is that police, judges, journalists and lawyers allow these abuses due to their own ignorance and biases. How often do lawyers who represent persons accused of mental illness challenge judges for their bias, or court rules or decisions for their violations of the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990, and/or the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and/or state discrimination laws? I’ve had hundreds of discussions with journalists, police, and prosecutors about this issue and they all show the same bias and ignorance.


The psychiatric industry was allowed to misuse its powers making mental illness into crime. Police, prosecutors, judges, journalists and lawyers allow this abuse of power contrary to law. Misguided priorities established by campaign contributions by drug companies and human services industry corporations encouraged politicians to write laws for profit not to protect the rights of individuals.

What other alleged illness is promoted by taxpayer funded state and US agencies? The 50 state Departments of Mental Health and the NIMH are no less than taxpayer funded PR firms for the drug industry. One more example of government working for the benefit of the drug industry, the human services industry and the psychiatric industry.

Psychiatry itself is divorced from reality. Only psychiatrists can see mental illness. There is no pathology. Mental illnesses are speech and behavior that psychiatrists do not like or do not understand. It is mostly protected speech and behavior which psychiatrists define as an illness. Experiencing emotions is also mental illness. Questioning authority enshrined in the Bill of Rights as The First Amendment is a mental disorder according to these control freaks. But for some misguided reason “the elected criminal class” (Noam Chomsky’s phrase) gave to charlatans the power and wisdom to define reality. Such court decisions (In Re. Kendra’s Law) are written according to the Humpty Dumpty Rule, “Words mean whatever I want them to mean.”

Here the court makes the irrational conclusion that there is a causal connection between lack of treatment and violence. Linking crime and an accusation of mental illness allows for further eroding constitutional rights. More importantly it demonizes all persons so accused. Due process protections are omitted from laws regarding psychiatry. This is one element of the absurdity of judicial thinking on this matter. The woman Kendra Webdale’s death, (for whom the law is named) was used to emotionally sway the public and the legislature to write the law and to uphold it. The notorious NY AG, Elliot Spitzer, supported the law which was proposed by NAMI.

Lawyer misconduct cannot be over emphasized. The bias of lawyers and their competence must be questioned and addressed. When a person accused of mental illness questions his lawyer, who does not protect his or her rights, the court, i.e., the judge, just makes that into being uncooperative, and a symptom of mental illness and incompetence. That is where judicial bias must be challenged too. But if the lawyer does not do his job due to bias, he is unlikely to challenge a judge’s unlawful bias.

New Hampshire legislature passed laws making mental illness a mitigating factor in criminal liability. I do not know how many states allow this. But it is an abomination and a corruption of the criminal justice system. It is no different than Flip Wilson’s character Geraldine saying “The devil made me do it.” when asked why he (she) purchased a dress.

No mention of why lawyers for persons accused of mental illness seldom use the discrimination laws. Court Rules and Rules of Evidence violate state and US discrimination laws and state and US Constitutions’ equal protection laws. Why do only women enjoy the right to say what happens to their bodies?

What is the best way to educate the public? Journalists join lawyers, judges, police and the psychiatric industry promoting the abuses you describe. Many journalists take psychiatric drugs and believe psychiatric fantasies. Why for example are there no programs on taxpayer funded PBS stations across the US to address these issues? PBS regularly broadcasts shows about bias against other groups. My efforts at the Boston PBS station led to me being shunned by journalists after I protested the fact that the stations discriminate based on disability. The Boston Globe excluded persons with disabilities from a special advertising section on diversity and vulnerable people. Why do Affirmative Action and diversity experts exclude persons accused of mental illness, when they advocate for multimillionaires who are members of the major three victim groups — Black persons, Women and Homosexuals? Is it the same in every major media market? What will it take to have these issues discussed regularly on the air and in print? What organization that alleges they protect persons with disabilities uses a PR firm as the government and corporations, especially the drug industry, use? NAMI is where most journalists go for information on these issues. NAMI promotes drug treatment and the interests of the psychiatric industry and drug industry. They do not promote the interests or protect the rights of persons accused of mental illness. They say that they protect their right to treatment, but there is no such right.

Advertisement Passes for Editorial

This propaganda belongs on the business pages with notation "Advertisement" promoting psychiatric drugs. It begins with fantasy and builds on irrational discourse. Saying "Now that someone with mental illness has shot one of Washington's own," is untrue twice. There is no evidence except in the minds of hateful people that Jared Loughner is mentally ill. If Jaffee has evidence how did he get it? In violation of any state and US privacy laws? Or is the liberal Sheriff who blames conservatives his source? Jaffee shows his bias declaring US Rep. Giffords as being of Washington. She is from Arizona and represents voters not the DC cesspool.

Jaffee says "most mentally-ill people are not violent -- and Congress seems content with ignoring those who are." Another lie. State laws control violent acts with exceptions where US laws share jurisdiction. State laws address violence well with Due Process protections. They are called crimes. Jaffee wants to use psychiatry which has no due process protections when taking liberty and punishing civilians which he calls treatment.

He cites prominent cases where the defendants had a history of abuses by psychiatrists. Ted Kaczynski was used for psychiatric experiments at Harvard. Others were taking psychiatric chemicals which are known causes (even by the drug company controlled FDA) of violent thoughts and actions. Jaffee prefers more drug induced violence under law.

Jaffee is confused about homeless people who are often required to take psychiatric chemicals in order to get housing contrary to law. He fails to recognize that being homeless causes people to be irrational. His priority is taxpayer funded drugging of homeless people instead of providing homes. Good business plan.

He objects to counseling people to stop taking psychiatric chemicals -- a known cause of violence. He promotes perpetual taking of psychiatric chemicals. Great business plan to be implemented under force of government police power. How thoughtful.

His biggest lie is saying, "the disease is in the brain." That is a fantasy promoted by drug company PR flacks. Psychiatry defines illnesses (made up by consensus) as behavior and speech symptoms. They have not shown any connection between the behavior and any brain abnormality.

His conclusion that "If there is any sanity needed, it's in how Washington addresses mental illness." is the only statement that makes sense. Congress must end the largest boondoggle in history by ending all taxpayer funded psychiatric treatment; stop criminal psychiatric abuses; and stop wasting taxpayer funds.

Editors Humiliate Persons with Disabilities

This editorial shows that journalists stereotype persons with disabilities as all being the same. It condones forced treatment. What other medical procedure is can be forced on unwilling patients without consent?

Pervasive Bias Pervasive


If one black person commits a crime are all blacks likely to do the same? If one homosexual commits a crime are all of them likely to do the same? Why stereotype persons with disabilities? This shows the pervasive bias among journalists, politicians and especially those who make money treating persons with disabilities.
