Harvard Law School Students Lament Racist Barriers To Their Successes

Whining snowflakes at Harvard Law School. If it wasn't for racism holding me back, I'd be in a better law school. Fighting fantasy racism is good for my career. I'll win when I appear before racist courts, for a racist corporate law firm, racist judges, and clients. Everybody is a racist except me and my fellow victims. It's those people with disabilities who rule the world. See how they dominate the faculty and the courts. Oh wait. There are none. What I could have been except for all the racists holding me back. Oh wait. It was because of my victimhood that I am at Harvard Law School. How to make that into being a victim? I know, black tape and an email. I am suffering so much. I can't stand it. It's not fair. If you hire some more black people I'll feel better and that will eliminate racism in the world.

Deeming the meeting “an absolute joke” but also “an incredible moment” with so many affiliates of the school together, second-year Law School student Isaac Cameron took to a microphone and voiced a concern common among student speakers at the event.
“This was a moment for the campus to come together and discuss how Harvard Law School can deconstruct institutional racism, and we spent an hour where you spoke and we listened,” Cameron said. “I can’t think of a better metaphor that represents what’s wrong here on campus.”

Cambridge City Council Exhibits Cognitive Dissonance

Cambridge, MA City Council 2011-13

[From article]
The letter to the Attorney General argues the complaint should be dismissed chiefly because it came to council approximately six months after the alleged violation occurred. State law requires complaints to be filed within 30 days of the alleged violation or 30 days from when the alleged violation “could reasonably have been discovered.”
[. . .]
Reeves said there was an “omnibus” provision in the council rules that state, “We can do whatever we want when we want to do it, too.”
[. . .]
Reeves said. “I hope [the complaint] goes to the Attorney General, to the U.S. Attorney and to the president of the world to clear my name because I care about what is being said about me. If I’m doing some nefarious thing, I usually tell you it’s a nefarious thing.”

What is perplexing is how the City Solicitor and the City Council asserts a legal defense to a complaint about an open meetings law violation. It is only one of many city and state and U.S. laws regularly and for many years violated by the city council. The council defiantly violated its own rules for many years making all of what they do questionable. In Cambridge, in the state of Massachusetts bureaucracies, and taking a leadership role in the current White House the politicians flagrantly exhibit contempt for the U.S. Constitution and laws of the United States. Contrary to their oaths of offices, these officials show a relaxed attitude toward laws. Perhaps it is the way that Harvard University is granted the option to disobey inconvenient laws, that makes the local, state and US government follow their lead. It is laughable that Reeves cites a council rule which he says allows them to do whatever they want to do. That explains Reeves' conduct when running council meetings. The main rule that the councilors know is to suspend the rules. That makes rules unnecessary. What is so difficult for adults to learn Robert's Rules of Order? I learned them when I was 13 years old, to run high school fraternity meetings. Reeves has a Harvard College degree and one from the University of Michigan Law School. He certainly has the intellectual ability to learn those rules. More worrisome is Reeves' comment about "the president of the world" and that he "admits" his nefarious acts. Hahaha.

Psychiatric Dissonance, Cluelessness

It is curious that this psychiatrist laments "the power of the corporate world at work against the rights of citizens, not to mention the 'rights' of birds and animals." But he remains silent regarding abuses of rights of individuals in the name of drug industry profits and punishing constitutionally protected speech and behavior by his psychiatric colleagues. Is this called cognitive dissonance? Or is it just being clueless about harm one does in the name of good? Psychiatry, largest boondoggle in history, is an endless source of humor.

Journalism as Diversion

The most famous disorderly conduct arrest in the history of the world continues to divert attention from real problems of government incompetence and corruption. Multi millionaire tenured Harvard professor Gates promotes himself as a victim of police abuse. Families of 19 white men and women whose relatives were murdered by FBI informants, and the families of the four white men framed by the FBI for murder are ignored by alleged civil rights advocates, journalists, politicians and voters. What cognitive dissonance pervades the minds of one-party Bay State residents that allows this egregious abuse to remain hidden from the public discourse?
