Ex-FBI Agent, Convicted of Murder, Inarticulate

John Connolly, before his favorite color was orange.

This gentleman Special Agent, was also Director of Security/Public affairs for Boston Edison.

[From article]
Zip Connolly tried to get the Florida state appeals court to overturn his second-degree murder conviction and lost on a 6-4 decision.
Now he must reference the majority’s ruling, only he spells it, at least twice, as “majorities.” Like a modern graduate of Dot High, where he once taught, Zip writes “it’s,” contraction, when he means “its,” possessive.
Zip has degrees from Boston College and Harvard. I’m going to blame his illiteracy on Harvard.
[. . .]
In 1970, as U.S. House Speaker John McCormack approached retirement, he asked his dear friend, FBI director J. Edgar Hoover, for assistance for two of his Southie constituents.
No. 1, the Speaker requested, please make a psychopathic bank robber named Whitey Bulger an FBI informant, in order to allow him to continue his blood-soaked spree unimpeded. Request granted!
No. 2, make a local punk named Zip Connolly an FBI agent, so that he could run interference for Whitey as the Bulgers’ reign of terror accelerated. Request granted!
Whitey and Zip have been thisclose ever since. Zip is 75, and Whitey turns 86 in 10 days. Together they reaped millions on cocaine, extortion and murder, but both now claim to be indigent,
in order to get free legal counsel.
