Cambridge Master Plan For a Transient Population

Kathryn Madden of the Madden Planning Group, said the Master Plan would also highlight the city’s goals for the next 20 years, including issues that should be addressed within the first five years.

With a listening tour to set priorities, why does the transient population of Cambridge merit a hearing? Where 25 percent of the population lives in the city for five years or more, what effect can they have? Should goals be updated every five years? What role does the Planning Board have in such planning?
