Crony Government Abuses Extend From Lowest to Highest
Misguided government priorities extend from local politicians and police to the highest levels of US government, with the assistance of misguided journalists. Mark Steyn observed, "the grandees of American journalism have a lofty view of their own profession and therefore extend it naturally to the profession they spend most of their time covering." (From Head To Toe, page 278). National Security is only a concern when it is used to cover up wrongdoing. After 40 years of harassment from FBI informants, police, Communists and assorted sociopaths in the psychiatric industry, the FBI proposed the same solution for me. They were unable or unwilling to stop abuses by crime families and Communists. Their own informants in Boston were murdering civilians and framing others; so it goes without saying that the FBI does not protect citizens. Changing one's name and going into hiding (as suggested to Molly Norris) makes it appear that one did wrong. The FBI itself stirs up animosity making free living impossible for law abiding citizens. For 30 years FBI informants (or cooperating witnesses) broadcast character assassination which included saying, "He's a racist." and "He's a retired drug dealer." Charming no? The question remains. Does the FBI work with or for organize crime?

[Valerie] Jarrett gets a security detail from the US Secret Service (USSS). That means 24/7 protection, at a cost of millions of dollars a year. Of course, it also means an air of importance for Jarrett--her own taxpayer-funded entourage. The idea that someone such as Jarrett--who officially plays no role in national security or counter-terrorism--would receive USSS protection would be laughable if it weren’t, in fact, real. [. . .] surrounded by agents with guns, she is queen of her own court.

As an aside, on the issue of who merits government security, we might recall the case of Molly Norris. In 2010, the Seattle-based cartoonist took part in the international “Draw Muhammad” campaign and, after she receiving death threats, the FBI told her that she was on her own. That is, the US government could not--more precisely, would not--protect her. Instead, Norris was advised to leave her job, change her name, and go into hiding. And that’s what she did; what choice did she have?
