Juan Williams and Psychiatry

Here is another example of how politicians and journalists use psychiatry to discredit people. Where is the NAMI alleged anti stigma campaign when there is a national example of psychiatric abuses to be addressed? It is not just the fascist leftists who do this. Conservative politicians and journalists do the same. It also shows how everyone can make psychiatric diagnoses. Who needs psychiatrists if everyone can diagnose mental illness?

I'm a great fan of Malkin's courage, standing up to the thuggery of Alex Jones who menaced her at one event. But even Michelle Malkin whose writings I love did it in a recent column referring to "tin hat" wearers. In "tolerant" Cambridge MA, Harvard professors, FBI informants and liberal activists, regularly ridicule and humiliate candidates for office and activists whose opinions they dislike, as mentally ill.

Boston's PBS station refuses to air programs exposing institutionalized bias against persons with disabilities. Not only do they ignore my years of petitions to Emily Rooney (daughter of 60 Minute's Andy Rooney) and WGBH's President to air such programs, but they threatened me with censorship because of my complaints about their unlawful bias. WGBH-TV also receives millions of taxpayer dollars annually.

Cambridge's local cable access station (which gets about $1 million a year from City government) is run by the same kind of fascists as the team at NPR. The management of Cambridge Community TV harasses and suspends people whose political opinions they dislike. They apply discrimination laws unequally and allow abuses of white hetero males by black racists, women and homosexuals. It is how liberals operate. Laws for me but not for thee.

[From article]
"Upon summarily firing Williams for violating the public radio station's "editorial standards," NPR CEO Vivian Schiller appeased the leftist mob by shamelessly attacking Williams' mental health. At an Atlanta Press Club event, the former CNN and New York Times executive said Williams "should have kept his feeling about Muslims between himself and 'his psychiatrist or his publicist.'"

Malkin quotes Thomas Jefferson on using other people's money to fund speech they oppose. Isn't that what unions and non profit organizations do?

[From article]
Thomas Jefferson famously opined: "To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical."
[. . .]
Not one more red cent of public money should go to NPR, PBS and CPB. Let the speech-squelching progressives and jihadi-whitewashing apologists pay for their own propaganda."
