MTA (NY) Board Member Takes Fifth 37 Times


David "Mack said today he had totally cooperated in our investigation," said Andrew Cuomo. "when he was interviewed he only gave his name and refused to answer any questions."
Through a spokesman Mack said, he had "fully cooperated with authorities and used his Constitutional Rights to decline to answer questions."
His spokesman said, Mack agreed "to sit down and participate in the process."
Mack was under subpoena. "he would not name his occupation, the public offices he held, his State Police position, or say whether he had an officially issued badge uniform and handgun."
Cuomo's report concluded that political considerations played an improper and determinative role" in State Police conduct for over a decade.
