Don't Hurt Anyone's Feelings?

Peter Gelzinis objects to Jay Severin's hate speech and condones his suspension. Why was Bill Ayers given an academic venue for his hate speech while Jay Severin is censored? Gelzinis subscribes to the psychiatric therapeutic state where hurting feelings is the worst crime. Truth must be suppressed if it makes someone feel badly. What are the standards for protected speech under the misguided Gelzinis doctrine?
