The Domineering Equality Right

Maggie Gallagher explains that same sex marriage proponents demand that religious rights be subservient to their equality rights. She reports that in England the government is already violating religious rights and that it may happen here too. She says that Libertarians do not recognize the dangers because their abilities to fight for their own rights may be denied by the same government actions. What she does not discuss is why persons with disabilities do not enjoy the same equal rights as homosexuals, women and African Americans. I suggest it is because the politicians and judges respond only to wealthy and powerful interest groups.
