White House Orders Psychiatric Evaluations Of All Citizens; NIMH Chief Leaves Government For Google

One more abomination. As if the government does not have enough control over civilian lives. This is an abuse that will end any kind of freedom for humans. The arbitrary nature of psychiatric diagnoses will be applied for controlling human activity based upon their use of words. Evaluations by computer analysis of medical files, and information collected by government control freaks.

A new executive order from President Obama directs all government agencies to use psychological science and data to help connect more Americans to government programs.
The order instructs government agencies to use “behavioral science”— a tactic used by Obama’s political campaigns to harness data from their supporters to target them effectively.
The program has already existed in an experimental form, but now Obama has formally established the federal “Social and Behavioral Sciences Team,” ordering them to to use psychology and experimental behavior data to make government more user-friendly.
An example of these techniques used during Obama’s campaign was that it was better to affirm a positive message rather than denying a negative message.
According to reports, behavioral science was used to advise the campaign to focus on Obama’s Christianity instead of trying to deny the notion that he was a Muslim. Other tactics included encouraging supporters to act for the campaign in small ways before asking them to commit to bigger goals.
[. . .]
The program, however, will likely lead more government agencies to using and storing data from randomized research trials on everyday Americans to understand their behavior.
Obama’s executive order codifies his government experiment into law, allowing every agency to target individuals for greater service and success.

In hiring him, Google, which is in the process of reorganizing into a new company called Alphabet, lands a first-rate research scientist and administrator with an exhaustive knowledge of brain and behavioral sciences. He has also recruited some of the top researchers into the brain sciences from other fields.
“Tom’s leaving is a great loss for all of us,” said Dr. E. Fuller Torrey, the executive director of the Stanley Medical Research Institute, a nonprofit that supports research into severe mental illnesses. “He refocused N.I.M.H. on its primary mission — research on the causes and better treatments for individuals with serious mental illness.”

Moment-to-moment mental tracking has also become a commercial reality, he said, and that technology could help identify, and more precisely address, the sources of depression and anxiety, including social interactions or sleep disruption. “The idea is to use the power of data analytics to make behavioral studies much more objective than they have been before,” he said.
Google Life Sciences is already developing a contact lens that tracks glucose levels for diabetes management, and a heart activity monitor worn on the wrist. Dr. Insel’s ideas for mood and language tracking are, for now, just that — ideas. The company has not yet decided on where first to invest in mental health.

When he steps down in November, Dr. Insel, 63, will have been the longest-serving director of N.I.M.H since Dr. Robert H. Felix, the agency’s founder, who left in 1964. Dr. Insel’s tenure spanned four presidential terms,

AIDS Research Scientist Sentenced To 4 Years in Prison, $7 million Fine, For False Statements

Dong-Pyou Han, 58
[From article]
A former Iowa State University scientist who altered blood samples to make it appear he had achieved a breakthrough toward a potential vaccine against HIV was sentenced Wednesday to more than 4 ½ years in prison for making false statements in research reports.
Dong-Pyou Han, 58, also must pay $7.2 million to a federal government agency that funded the research. He entered a plea agreement in February admitting guilt to two counts of making false statements.
Government prosecutors said Han’s misconduct dates to 2008 when he worked at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland under professor Michael Cho, who was leading a team testing an experimental HIV vaccine on rabbits. Cho’s team began receiving NIH funding, and he soon reported the vaccine was causing rabbits to develop antibodies to HIV, which was considered a major breakthrough. Han said he initially accidentally mixed human blood with rabbit blood making the potential vaccine appear to increase an immune defense against HIV, the virus that can cause AIDS. Han continued to spike the results to avoid disappointing Cho, his mentor, after the scientific community became excited that the team could be on the verge of a vaccine.
Iowa State recruited Cho in 2009, and his team — including Han — continue the research with NIH funding. A group of researchers at Harvard University found in January 2013 the promising results had been achieved with rabbit blood spiked with human antibodies.

Military Researchers Need Oversight

Congressional priorities show a lack of awareness or simple depravity. The elected criminal class joins PETA making monkeys more important than humans. The same military researchers use humans for criminal abuse. Police refuse to investigate. The NIH Office of Human Subject Protection demands evidence and the identity of the lead criminal researcher. Hello, "Will you tell me your name so I can have you arrested?" Military researchers are out of control using humans without consent even on prestigious university campuses. Police don't want to get involved. Military runs interference. Psychiatry is used for cover and to discredit the abuse victims.

NIMH Wastes Taxpayer Funds

NIMH Wastes Taxpayer Funds

No mention in this article of the dangers of anti depressants which cause suicidal thoughts. Also ignored are the liberal media and public officials who use "diversity" to silence negative thoughts about the enemy which these troops are supposed to fight. They are paid to fight then told that what they do is offensive. Is this "The Double Bind" used to drive people insane? Perhaps this is a method used by the psychiatric industry and the drug companies to gain control of the military as they gained control of journalists and politicians. Using stigma as a tool to bring in more patients is standard drug company tactics. The drug industry funds and usually uses their front organization NAMI which masquerades as a civil rights organization to increase the client base.
Why is there a government agency acting as a lobbyist for treatment of illnesses which only psychiatrists can see? Wasting taxpayer funds is what government does. No financial limit using other people's money on fake illnesses made up to suit the needs of the industries. The NIMH promotes violent behavior by encouraging drug treatment.

Self Evaluations

Self Evaluations

The Editors say "Consumers shouldn’t be guinea pigs for drug makers." (Las Vegas Sun, EDITORIAL, "Drug maker under fire - Alaska court case shows the danger of industries policing themselves," Mar 8, 2008) Regulations of the US Office of Human research Protection, a division of th4e National Institute of Health forwards complaints of violations of US laws regarding use of human subjects to the accused institution.
The pattern of self-evaluations extends to academic researchers and department of defense researchers as well. Many people die in human experiments, some due to negligence. The researchers are not held accountable at all. There are no penalties for non compliance with US laws on use of human in experiments (see Title 45 CFR Section 46). Animals have state and US law protections with fines and prison for violations.
The lack of accountability in drug development, marketing and FDA protections, are severe abominations with little concern from journalists or politicians. Drug companies purchase advertisements (ever watch 60 Minutes?) and make substantial campaign contributions.
Robert Whitaker wrote "Mad in America," about the history of psychiatric drug abuses which killed many people.

Copperfield's Bahama Mamas

Copperfield's Bahama Mamas

You report, "The woman then went to the U.S. Attorney's Office, which asked
the FBI to investigate." I'm not doubting this, but when I once went to the US
Attorney's office in Boston one of the Assistant Attorneys told me that they do
not take complaints. He told me that the FBI refers matters to them for
prosecution. I believed then it was because they did not want to get involved in
a matter of Harvard University violating US law.
The Office of Human Research Protection (NIH) is supposed to protect
humans used for US taxpayer funded medical experiments. Under OHRP regulations
complaints they get are referred to the institution accused of wrongdoing. I've
seen this in action when 7 persons died in gene therapy trials in Boston
(Harvard teaching hospitals). I asked the police if I were accused of homicide
would I be allowed to do my own investigation? That is the sorry state of
affairs under OHRP regulations. I was surprised to read your report of how this
matter got to the FBI.

David Copperfield owns a Bahamanian island.
Grand jury investigates Copperfield allegations
By Mike Carter
Seattle Times staff reporter

A Seattle federal grand jury is investigating allegations by an aspiring model
from Washington who said she was raped, assaulted and threatened by magician
David Copperfield at his private island in the Bahamas in July, at least three
federal law-enforcement officials have confirmed.

The Washington woman has told law enforcement that she and her family were
approached at a Jan. 25 performance in the Tri-Cities area by a member of
Copperfield's entourage almost as soon as they entered the auditorium. They were
led to special seats, and Copperfield selected the woman to come on stage as
part of his act, the federal sources said.

Sources confirmed that the woman told investigators Copperfield later promised
he could help with her modeling career and invited her to his isolated $50
million private retreat at Musha Cay, in a tiny string of white-sand islands 85
miles southeast of Nassau, Bahamas.

She told investigators Copperfield assured her that there would be other guests
at the 150-acre resort, which is restricted to a maximum of 24 guests and rents
for up to $50,000 a night. From Nassau, the retreat is accessible only by
charter plane and then private boat.

When the woman, 21, made the trip in late July -- after exchanging e-mails with
Copperfield, 51 -- she found herself the only guest on the island with him, she
told investigators. She has told Seattle police, and later the FBI, that
Copperfield raped and struck her during her two days on the island, said sources
familiar with her allegations.

She said that, afterward, Copperfield threatened her, telling her she'd better
keep quiet, and then escorted her onto a plane, sources said.

Copperfield's attorney, David Chesnoff of Las Vegas, reiterated Friday that
"Copperfield has never forced himself on anyone."

After leaving Nassau, the woman flew to Florida and then Seattle, where she told
her family what happened and went to the Harborview Center for Sexual Assault
and Traumatic Stress, sources said. A rape kit was assembled, and a federal
source has confirmed that some of her clothing was taken into evidence.

The woman also reported the matter to Seattle police, who said a report was
taken but will not release it. Federal sources and others said the woman was
told that the department had no jurisdiction to investigate a crime that
occurred in another country, and that the department took no other action.

The woman then went to the U.S. Attorney's Office, which asked the FBI to
investigate. The woman and her family live in Washington and, because her trip
began and ended in the U.S. -- even though the alleged crime occurred elsewhere
-- federal agents have claimed jurisdiction in the case.

Emily Langlie, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney's Office, said the office
would not comment. Two of the office's top prosecutors have been assigned to
oversee the investigation and evidence is being presented to a grand jury,
according to law-enforcement sources. No indictment or criminal charges have
been filed.

Chesnoff, Copperfield's attorney, said Friday he could not comment on the
allegations.

"We have said we are going to honor the confidentiality of the investigation,"
he said, adding that he was disappointed that some in law enforcement have
chosen not to do the same. "Apparently [they] don't have the same respect for
the law, and it casts doubt on the integrity of this investigation."

The Seattle office of the FBI, which is heading the investigation, raided
Copperfield's property warehouse and magic museum in Las Vegas last week. The
search warrant remains sealed.
