Misguided Solution To Violent Crime
Peyser quotes the Treatment Advocacy Center which advocates for drug companies not for humane treatment of humans. There are more rational experts on homelessness and psychiatry than the control freaks at TAC. Peyser exhibits the stubborn refusal of journalists to recognize that psychiatric drugs cause violence. The FDA requires a black box warning label on psychiatric drugs, a known cause of suicidal thoughts and violence. Psychiatrists who prescribe drugs are a major cause of violence. They do not prevent violence. Criminals commit crime. Some are accused of being mentally ill. Slurring all persons accused of mental illness as violent is misguided and irrational. Psychiatrists and drug companies try to make all human activity into illnesses contrary to science. They conflate the notion of crime with illness as the Germans and Russians did under the Nazis and Stalin. Who needs criminal courts if psychiatrists can define guilt without due process?
