Associated Press reporters and editors at the Boston Herald suffer from "Misguided Journalist Syndrome." The newly discovered mental illness compels useful idiots to repeat whatever prosecutors and police say about a person accused of crime. When they say "a history of mental illness," journalists assume it must be important and the cause of the crime. Police and prosecutors would not mislead journalists. Psychiatry is real like global warming and nutritionism.
