No PAC, No Funding

Asking Cadillac Deval not to cut funding for persons with disabilities is like asking an alcoholic not to drink. Do any disability rights groups have a viable PAC? Are there any lobbyists for human services corporations who are concerned about budget cuts unless their funding is being cut? No one cares about the plight of persons with disabilities unless they have an economic benefit. Almost all of the alleged disability rights advocates are front groups for human services corporations. The most offensive is NAMI which lobbies for more funding for drug treatment while pretending to be a civil rights organization. NAMI is funded mostly by drug companies. Journalists in search of quotable quotes are unable or unwilling to reveal the distorted motives of such lobbyists.
