Looking in All the Wrong Places

Looking in All the Wrong Places

The Rappaport Fellows Program is a "program in which gifted students
from six Boston-area law schools (Boston College, Boston University,
Harvard, New England, Northeastern University, and Suffolk University)
work with top public policymakers and government officials on key
issues that affect the citizens of Greater Boston and Massachusetts."
("Students work to make a difference," Cambridge Chronicle, Jul 28,
2008) With all of the high-minded students in this program they ignore
the dysfunctional state legislature and the compromised law
enforcement apparatus in Massachusetts. Is the problem that these
gifted students "work with" instead of scrutinizing the policy-makers?
If this is a press release, not a news story it would explain it.
