Massachusetts taxpayers and voters have a special attitude toward dead people and victims of violence. They are uninterested in them unless there is some benefit to them, e.g., a way to make money. See e.g., deaths from opioid abuses. The growing rehabilitation business, subsidiary of the psychiatric industry has such an interest. In view of the apparent dominance of Harvard University of the Massachusetts government and posse of worshipping journalists, the administration and faculty of the $37 billion endowed prestigious university may be able to explain why that attitude prevails.
